Chapter 1034: Is This How You Teach Your Son?

The Fu Family

Seeing the good weather today, Fu Yan Cheng's mother took the newly made wedding quilts out of Fu Yan Cheng's room.

Upon seeing this, Guo Wenjing hurried over to help: "Mother, are you taking the quilts out to dry for Fu Yan Cheng again?"

Fu Yan Cheng's mother's face was beaming with smiles: "The wedding is only a few days away. It's been cloudy with light rain for the past few days, but today we finally see the sun, so I thought I'd bring them out to dry again."

As the mother-in-law and daughter-in-law chatted while hanging the quilts on the drying line, they didn't notice Fu Jinze, who had been eating candy at the doorway of the second room, coming over.

Just as they were preparing to work together to hang the last quilt, they heard Fu Jinyue from the main room shout: "Fu Jinze, what are you doing?"

Fu Yan Cheng's mother and Guo Wenjing were so startled by the shout that they nearly dropped the quilt.

Seeing Fu Jinyue jogging towards the direction of the previously dried quilts, the two quickly looked over.

They saw Fu Jinze reaching out, trying to rub his hands on the quilts.

Fu Yan Cheng's mother was the first to react; she shoved the quilt in her arms into her eldest daughter-in-law's hands and ran over: "You little ancestor, why aren't you staying at the doorway eating candy? What are you doing here?"

When she got close and saw the state of his hands, her face darkened: "Fu Jinze, who told you to do this?"

Fu Jinze looked at his hands, then at the quilt he hadn't touched yet, then at his grandmother's darkened face, and burst into tears: "My quilt is gone."

Fu Yan Cheng's mother's face was chillingly cold: "Hao Yanhong, don't play the turtle with your head in the shell. Come out here immediately."

Hao Yanhong knew pretending not to hear wouldn't work, so she rushed out in a feigned panic: "Mother, what's wrong?"

Seeing her eyes darting back and forth, Fu Yan Cheng's mother understood that this was likely her doing.

Seeing her expression, Guo Wenjing, who had been living with her for some time, could no longer hold back: "Second sister-in-law, is this how you teach your child?"

Hao Yanhong, adopting the attitude of "If I don't admit it, what can you do to me?": "Eldest sister-in-law, what do you mean by that? How does my Fu Jinze offend your eyes?"

Seeing she was about to start her tantrum again, Fu Yan Cheng's mother shot her a cold glance: "If you dare to cause trouble again, I'll send you straight back to the Hao family."

Hao Yanhong didn't dare to gamble; her mouth hung open, but she didn't dare utter a single word.

Seeing her shut up, Fu Yan Cheng's mother turned and stared coldly at Fu Jinze: "Fu Jinze, why did you say your quilt is gone?"

Because his quilt was gone, Fu Jinze was currently unhappy and pouted, refusing to speak.

Fu Yan Cheng's mother said: "If you answer correctly, later Grandma will buy you a pencil case just like the one next-door brother Xiao Shu has as a reward."

Hearing this, Fu Jinze suddenly lifted his head: "Really?"

Seeing her son's expression, Hao Yanhong said: "Son, didn't Mommy say before she would buy it for you? You........."

Fu Yan Cheng's mother shot a sharp look, and Hao Yanhong didn't dare say another word.

Seeing her mother-in-law looking back at her own son, she made a series of faces at her son, trying to get him not to expose her, but the allure of the pencil case was too great: "Mom, you're lying."

Fu Yan Cheng's mother stepped directly in front of Hao Yanhong, blocking the eye contact between mother and son: "Speak. Grandma never lies. As long as you say it, we'll go buy it right after."

After all, he was still a child; he raised his hand and said: "Mommy said that if I print my little handprints on the quilt, then it's my quilt, and others can't snatch it."

She had already guessed eight or nine out of ten, but hearing it come directly from her grandson's mouth made her wish she could chop Hao Yanhong into pieces: "Is this how you teach your son?"
