Fu's father didn't expect his daughter-in-law to be so capable, even reaching the level of a traveling translator: "Our bearing factory will also be going over. If anything happens, you can go find them for help. I'll go tomorrow morning and tell them."

Originally, he hadn't planned to see them off, but since the fourth daughter-in-law was going, he felt it was necessary to go over tomorrow.

Fu's mother spoke up then: "Since you're here, have a meal before you go back."

Chuxue had intended to refuse, but Fu's mother gave her no chance, shoving them directly into her hand.

Fu's father also urged: "Take them."

Seeing her daughter-in-law wasn't standing on ceremony with her, Fu's mother smiled: "Alright, then your father and I will be waiting."

With matters settled, Chuxue didn't stay any longer.

No sooner had she left than Hao Yanhong came out of the room carrying the last of her belongings.

Chuxue greeted her second uncle at the outer gate, then walked out of the alley.

She heard Hao Yanhong say from behind: "Your mother came out again after going back to her room, clutching something in her hand. I vaguely heard her give something to the fourth family."

Fu Yanwei heard her words and didn't even lift his head: "We've subsidized you before. If you're capable, go take something from my parents yourself."

Hao Yanhong didn't expect Fu Yanwei to have such an attitude; those words were clearly belittling her: "Fu Yanwei, you bastard."

Fu Yanwei simply said: "Enough. Hurry back inside and bring your son out. We still have to go over there to organize things."

After speaking, she went straight back to her room.
