Chapter 153: Everything in Disarray

After finishing her tidying, Chuxue was just about to step aside when, unexpectedly, Du Erya blocked her path: "Chuxue, in light of the in-law ties between our two families, I beg you to let my son go; I'll kneel to you."

Fu Yan Cheng, seeing this woman being disgusting, was about to speak out when he was stopped by a single look from Chuxue.

Chuxue swiftly sidestepped to the side: "Now you know to beg? What were you doing earlier? If everyone were like you, the Gongan Bureau would have no reason to exist. Stop trying to morally blackmail me here; if you must blame someone, blame the person who dragged you down with them."

Hearing these words, Du Erya turned her head and looked at Ge Xiulan.

She had figured it out: this Liu Chuxue was determined to disregard the kinship ties between the two families. But if it weren't for her sister-in-law painting them a big pie, her own son wouldn't have been dreaming the daydream; now that they had escaped unscathed, her son was suffering.
