Chapter 1532: I Don't Understand What You're Saying

Upon hearing it was the Security Department, the woman knew fear.

She clutched the child and tried to walk out.

But Xiao Guo at the door stopped her: "Stop. You don't think no one discovered what you did, do you?"

Hearing this, the woman said: "I don't understand what you're talking about."

Liu Chuxue, worried about affecting the three children, looked at Fu Yan Cheng: "It's so late; don't disturb the people in other wards. You should move to another place to question her."

Though this woman was somewhat pitiable, it wasn't caused by them. Since she harbored thoughts she shouldn't have, she must pay the corresponding price; Liu Chuxue would not be soft-hearted.

Fu Yan Cheng nodded to Liu Chuxue, gave Xiao Guo a look, and the Security Department personnel stepped forward to escort the woman away.

The woman struggled, saying: "I did nothing; you can't arrest me."

Fu Yan Cheng, standing nearby, said coldly to her: "If you want people to gawk at your shameful moment, then continue resisting."

Don't misunderstand; he wasn't doing this for the woman's sake, but because he didn't want to disturb his wife and children from resting.

The woman, who had intended to shout and ask the old woman in the next ward to save her, changed her strategy upon hearing Fu Yan Cheng's words: "Comrade, spare me. I just came to ask for milk for the child; I truly had no other intentions."

Seeing the woman still dare to lie with her eyes open, Xiao Guo signaled the hospital Security Department personnel holding her.

The person was then led out of the ward.

Fu Yan Cheng looked at Liu Chuxue: "Wife, rest assured; I'll go handle this and return."

Then he looked at Fu's mother: "Mom, watch the children carefully; I'll be back soon."

Fu's mother's sleepiness vanished now, fearing another mishap involving her grandchildren: "Go, go. Rest assured; I definitely won't doze off here again. I will definitely watch them and the mother."

Saying this, she stood up, afraid she would fall asleep again if she sat.

As soon as he left the ward, he saw a Security Department member standing outside. Before he could ask, the man spoke: "Deputy Regiment Commander Fu, they have gone to the Security Department. Our chief asked me to guard the ward entrance before you return; you may proceed with peace of mind."

Fu Yan Cheng nodded to the young soldier and hurried downstairs.

Xiao Guo and the Security Department personnel cooperated well; Fu Yan Cheng only needed to be there to maintain order.

Not long after the woman confessed, her husband was brought from the village by the Security Department.

Their village was not far from the Medical Team's farm. This man had connections and held a job at the farm. Upon learning what his wife had done, he angrily strode forward and struck the woman directly in the face: "It's bad enough you gave birth to a money-losing girl, but you dare cause trouble for me? You've gained some nerve."

Fu Yan Cheng didn't want to waste time: "Enough. Stop acting. Although the deed wasn't completed, she just confessed clearly that she intended to swap my daughter while no one was paying attention. The nature of this matter is very malicious. Just now, I discussed with the Security Department comrades and offer you three choices."

The man, fearing the woman's actions today would affect his job, said: "Speak, speak."

Fu Yan Cheng cleared his throat: "The first choice is to report to the Public Security Bureau and let them handle it. The second is for our military unit to handle it, sending you directly to the farm for re-education for half a year..."

Before he finished speaking, the woman's face turned pale with fear, looking somewhat unsteady, while the man, terrified of losing his job due to his wife's trouble, asked: "Comrade, what is the third, what is the third choice?"

But the one who answered him was not Fu Yan Cheng, but the hospital Security Department comrade: "The third choice is for your family to compensate the victim two hundred yuan for mental distress."
