Chapter 1575: The Furniture Workshop Opens

Time passed swiftly, and soon the weather grew warm.

The stroller for the triplets was also made; Fu Yan Cheng had put in considerable effort to find those small rubber wheels.

As soon as that stroller made its debut, it drew a crowd.

Many people asked where the carriage came from.

Fu Yan Cheng pushed the triplets, his face full of pride: "My wife designed it herself; I asked the logistics department to help make it."

Someone exclaimed, "Your wife designed it? That is truly remarkable."

Liu Chuxue pinched Fu Yan Cheng from behind, mainly because she felt too embarrassed; after all, she had copied it directly from the future, and although she made some changes, it was still plagiarism.

But that fellow not only didn't hold back; he boasted, "Not just this one; even the crib before was drawn by my wife; I asked the logistics department to help make it."

Just as they were chatting enthusiastically, someone from logistics came over: "I must say, this stroller is indeed quite convenient and very practical."

Fu Yan Cheng thought of what his wife had told him earlier and bragged, "Of course; this stroller is not only suitable for my triplets; make it smaller, and even a single child can push it, freeing up adults' hands, right?"

Someone chimed in, "Indeed; in that case, the person watching the child would save a lot of effort."

Hearing this, the person from logistics's eyes lit up even more: "Deputy Regiment Commander Fu, we came over because we have something to ask you and your wife."

Upon hearing this, Fu Yan Cheng immediately looked at Liu Chuxue.

And Liu Chuxue had already formed some guesses in her heart.

Liu Chuxue smiled, "We have been out for quite some time; we were just preparing to return."

The few people from logistics laughed, "That is perfect; let us discuss it at home."

After entering the courtyard, Liu Chuxue went into the room first, fed the three children one by one until they were full, then handed the children over to Auntie Wei and left the courtyard herself.

Those few people had already told Fu Yan Cheng their purpose; Liu Chuxue had keen hearing, so even inside the room, she heard everything clearly.

Fu Yan Cheng asked her to sit, poured her a cup of tea, and said, "Your stroller and the crib before were thought to be very good by the regiment; they want to try cooperating with you."

After speaking, he pointed to the two from logistics and introduced them: "This is Minister Qian, whom you have met before; that one is the newly transferred Clerk Hong."

Liu Chuxue had already had ideas beforehand, so naturally she did not hesitate and stated her thoughts.

After listening to her finish, Minister Qian's eyes immediately lit up: "Really? You can also draw other design plans?"

Liu Chuxue nodded: "Yes; since the logistics department already has carpenters on hand, why not have them bring along several apprentices? At that time, we can recruit children from the family compound who have graduated but have no jobs, establish a furniture processing workshop, and this way, we can also solve employment for some people."

Hearing this, Minister Qian agreed; job positions in the military district were scarce, and even when available, priority went to those with education; if a furniture processing workshop were established and done well, it could provide quite a few job positions.

So the few people began discussing around the furniture workshop.

Minister Qian was a man of practical action; the next day, he came over again.

Soon, the matter was settled; next, while selecting a site, recruitment notices were posted; under Liu Chuxue's suggestion, this time not only male comrades were recruited, but also a portion of female comrades.

And when Minister Qian came for the second time, Liu Chuxue had already brought out several furniture design plans, which received unanimous approval.

So in less than half a month, the furniture processing workshop led by logistics opened.
