When the two ran back, their heads were covered in sweat.

Pushing open the conference room door, they heard Chuxue's words.

Once they saw who it was, Lin Muni refused to stand for it, feeling backed by her uncle, the deputy factory director: "Liu Chuxue, you're from the Finance Department; how dare you come and snatch someone else's livelihood? Do you have no shame?"

Liu Chuxue's face immediately darkened; she would not tolerate such nonsense and retorted directly: "You, someone who abandoned your post during work hours, have no right to call me shameless. And who gave you the audacity to spout such nonsense in front of so many factory leaders?"

Secretary Cheng looked at Shen Congjun, who stood there seemingly having not expected such a thing to happen, and said with sarcasm: "Deputy Factory Director Shen, if I'm not mistaken, this is that outstanding niece of yours you've been boasting is unparalleled in heaven and earth?"

Shen Congjun felt utterly ashamed and scolded Lin Muni: "Don't you see what kind of occasion this is? Go apologize to her immediately."

Chuxue would not fall for his act; she had entered the factory through a genuine examination based on her own abilities. Lin Muni had caused her trouble before; even if she compromised today, such a person would not let her off the hook. She did not want to wrong herself: "No need for an apology; an insincere apology is useless to me."

Chuxue bowed to the several factory leaders: "Since the professionals have returned, I will not embarrass myself here. There are matters in the Finance Department, so I will return first."

Having spoken, she lifted her steps and walked out.

Earlier, when she said she could supplement and translate the materials, she had noticed everyone's expressions; more than half doubted her abilities, but before they could express it, Lin Muni's sudden words had interrupted them.

Moreover, when Lin Muni spoke without restraint, besides Secretary Cheng, Deputy Factory Director Gu, who was about to speak, had been preempted by her own opening; no one else came to her defense. Since that was the case, she might as well just do her own job well; there was no need to exert herself for no reward.

After Chuxue exited the conference room door, she broke into a small run toward the factory gate.

She thought about seeing if she could catch up with Hong Chunmei, after all, it had been agreed she would follow her to the bank to learn the liaison process.

After hearing this, Section Chief Li's eyebrows furrowed slightly, and he nodded, saying: "I understand."

Fortunately, Chuxue had good stamina and actually managed to catch up with the person.

Hong Chunmei was almost at the bus stop when she heard someone calling from behind; turning around, she saw Chuxue running after her: "Is everything settled at the Factory Office?"

Chuxue panted slightly: "The professionals have returned; they don't need a half-baked amateur like me anymore, so I hurried over to catch up."

Hong Chunmei thought to herself: This young girl is quite dedicated; if it were anyone else, they would have gone to slack off long ago.

Smiling, she nodded toward the bus stop: "Then let's go. I called the bank before coming out; Section Chief Zheng is there today, so I can introduce you."

Chuxue thanked her and followed her onto the platform.
