Fu Yan Cheng gave him a reassuring look: "Let's go, keep me company on a trip."

Xia Qiu asked, puzzled: "Where are you two going?"

Fu Yan Cheng smiled: "I'm heading to the breeding farm; I want Chuxue to come with me."

Chuxue turned to her cousin: "Dujuan, I'm going out to handle something. Keep your sister company here; I'll be back soon to pick you up."

Dujuan smiled and replied: "Alright, you go ahead. I'll have a good chat with my sister."

Chuxue said goodbye to Xia Qiu and left the courtyard with Fu Yan Cheng.

Once they were in the car, Chuxue asked: "What did they say over there? Can we see the person directly?"

Fu Yan Cheng nodded: "My classmate happens to be free today."

The breeding farm was about twenty minutes away by car. As they drove that way, Chuxue's sharp eyes spotted Fu Yanwan working in the fields: "Yan Cheng, it's Xiao Wan."

"Where?"

Chuxue pointed ahead: "Over there."

Fu Yan Cheng pulled the car over.

As soon as the car stopped, everyone working in the fields looked over: "Could it be some leaders from above coming for an inspection?"

"Probably not. If it were, the factory leaders would have accompanied them long ago. Look, only two people got out of that car."

Just then, Yanwan spotted Fu Yan Cheng: "Fourth Brother, Fourth Sister-in-law."

Her shout made everyone in the fields turn: "Are they here to see Fu Yanwan?"

Fu Yanwan didn't care about being conspicuous anymore. Seeing her Fourth Brother and Fourth Sister-in-law, she was truly delighted. She told the squad leader and jogged over to them: "How did you know I was here?"

Fu Yanwan looked at the money in her hand: "We almost missed each other."

Her words made all three of them laugh.

Fu Yan Cheng noticed everyone staring in their direction: "Alright, if you don't get back to work, the squad leader will probably come calling for you soon."

Fu Yanwan saw everyone slacking off and agreed her Fourth Brother was right; the squad leader would probably get angry soon: "Alright, you two go handle your business; I'll get back to work."

After the two got back in the car, Chuxue suddenly said: "Next time you see Yanwan, remind her to read more books when she has time. This situation can't go on forever."

Fu Yan Cheng heard her out-of-the-blue remark and was about to ask what she meant when Chuxue said: "Society needs to progress; it needs educated people. The country can't stay like this forever. Opportunities are for those who are prepared."

Remembering what her eldest sister had said, she thought it over and finally spoke up: "My eldest sister said Yanwan has a boyfriend..."

"What?"

Hearing this, Fu Yan Cheng almost slammed on the brakes: "She really has a boyfriend?"
