Chapter 1289: Pursuit (Part 2)

No one knew that, almost at the same time, above a forest ten thousand miles away, a purple light was speeding along. However, it was being followed by two leopard-bird beasts, one large and one small. The large one was astonishing in size, while the small one was flashing with blue light; they were precisely the two leading demonic birds that had appeared in front of Anyuan City a few days ago.

In the purple light ahead, figures flickered, and there was faintly one person flying on a spirit tool.

Suddenly, the purple light ahead trembled, and the light faded, revealing a purple-robed man. He was stepping on a rectangular object, plummeting downward, looking as if he had lost control.

The two demonic birds behind saw this and were naturally overjoyed. After a few flashes, they caught up. One of them flapped its two wings, and immediately countless yellow rays shot out, covering the falling purple-robed man, while the other, smaller one opened its mouth, and immediately a thunderous sound rang out, and a dazzling blue arc was sprayed out.

The purple-robed man saw this and was extremely anxious. He let out a loud shout, stomped his feet hard on the object beneath him, and his downward momentum doubled. The whole person dodged these attacks like a shooting star and plunged into the forest below, disappearing without a trace.
