Chapter 898: Yang Tao Missing

I said: "I understand, Zhu Sheng. This must be legalized, otherwise we cannot use it.

But are you sure the money is in the account?"

"Don't worry about this.

We have already arranged someone to check, the money in the account hasn't moved a cent.

Moreover, it's using the most complex password form; others wanting to move this money is absolutely impossible." Zhu Sheng said confidently.

Since Zhu Sheng said that, I don't need to worry about the money matter. But Yang Tao hasn't returned from the provincial capital; I must get to the bottom of this.

Xiao Long asked me at this time: "Grandpa, are we still going to the provincial capital?"

I said: "Go, we'll leave tomorrow morning.

Don't tell your mom about you and Yang Tao being together.

Your mom knows the emotions will collapse."

"I know, Grandpa. I'll go see Fang Rui first; we haven't seen each other in a while." Xiao Long said.

"Okay, go. Tomorrow morning come to the hotel to pick me up, and also don't notify your dad about anything." I arranged with Xiao Long.

Xiao Long nodded and left.

Only I was left in the room,

I smoked, repeatedly pondering Yang Tao's matter,

I always felt something was off.

Yang Tao's nature is that of someone who does nothing without profit.

She would definitely return to Zaocheng immediately to ask me about the expenses of this trip to Xianggang.

But she didn't,

and moreover she stayed in the provincial capital,

staying at a hotel not far from the airport.

What is this for?

I was walking back and forth in the room.

Suddenly I recalled something, that is what Xiao Feng said,

Before, someone set up an offshore company in Xianggang using someone else's identity; the other party, on the grounds of losing the original document,

reissued the company's USB drive and account, then transferred the original company's money away.

Later that person went to Xianggang to sue, but also didn't win.

So could it be that Yang Tao also used this method?

Why she hasn't acted yet is mainly because after she reported the loss, the company's new information hasn't arrived yet; this takes time.

It's even possible that she already knows the amount of money in the account.

No matter what,

I will definitely bring Yang Tao back to Zaocheng.

Only when she is by my side can I feel at ease.

As long as the person is here, the money won't move.

Tomorrow I must immediately go find Yang Tao, and also not give her any notice.

I was thinking, hoping that these twenty-plus hours would have no changes.

The next morning, Xiao Long came to pick me up.

Xiao Long told me,

Tian Shi returned from Xianggang today.

I asked Xiao Long: "It seems that Mr. Geng didn't give Tian Shi a hard time.

Have you and Tian Shi reported the matter of Yang Tao?"

Xiao Long said: "I've already told Tian Shi, and Tian Shi also thinks it's abnormal.

Let me and you, we must bring Yang Tao and my dad back to Zaocheng, it seems.

Until that money is completely transferred out, then we release it."

I said: "Tian Shi is right. We must keep an eye on both of them.

Only when the money is in our hands can we feel at ease. Let's go, we'll go directly to the hotel where they're staying."

Xiao Long quickly started the car. We drove toward the provincial capital.

Since the airport of the provincial capital is at the northernmost part of the city, we have to pass through the city.

We arrived at the provincial capital and again encountered a major traffic jam.

The road from the provincial capital to the airport took us over two hours.

We reached the hotel where Yang Tao stays, and it was already evening.

This time was all wasted on the road.

Upon arriving at the hotel, Xiao Long also didn't know which room Yang Tao and they were staying in.

I then asked the front desk if there was anyone named Yang Tao or Li Ming staying here.

The front desk told me,

"They checked out this morning."

Upon hearing this, I was greatly shocked,

They checked out; where did they go?

The people in the hotel also didn't know.

At this point I had Xiao Long call Li Ming to inquire,

Where is he now,

Just say that Qian Niang misses him, let him go home for a trip.

Xiao Long took out his phone to contact Li Ming,

The phone rang for a long time before Li Ming answered,

Xiao Long asked on the phone: "Dad, where are you? Grandma misses you, asking what time you'll come home."

Li Ming obviously hesitated on the phone before speaking,

"Xiao Long, I'm out there. Tell Grandma I'll be back in a few days."

"Dad, I've come to the Provincial Capital to pick you up. Where are you? Grandma misses you terribly.

"I have to find you." Xiao Long intensified his tone.

Li Ming said on the phone: "Xiao Long, don't look for me for now, okay, I still have things to do."

Li Ming hung up right after saying that.

Xiao Long called again, but the phone was already turned off.

Li Ming had turned off his phone.

I then took out my phone, found Yang Tao's number, and called.

Yang Tao's phone was also turned off.

Both of them turned off their phones at the same time.

This is too abnormal.

Where could they have gone?

Sweat broke out on my forehead.

We must find them immediately.

I called Zhu Sheng again,

"Jianqiang, what's up?"

"Zhu Sheng, Yang Tao and Li Ming have disappeared.

Can you find a way to locate them?"

Also, check the money in the account to see if there's any change." I said urgently.

"Okay, Jianqiang, don't worry, I'll check right away." Zhu Sheng said.

After hanging up,

I said to Xiao Long,

"Xiao Long, let's go to the airport to see if there are any recent flights abroad."

"Yeah, let's check at the airport." Xiao Long said.

So we went to the airport ticket counter,

and asked,

There were no flights abroad tonight, only domestic ones.

All were domestic flights.

I still wasn't willing to give up,

I decided to go check the departure lounge,

but the airport wouldn't allow it without procedures.

Having no choice, we could only leave the airport.

At that moment my phone rang,

I saw it was Zhu Sheng's number and hurriedly answered,

"Jianqiang, something bad happened, the money in the account was all transferred out, this happened in the afternoon.

Since the account is under review, no one would touch the money.

Who transferred the money?" Zhu Sheng exclaimed.

"Zhu Sheng, no need to ask, it was Yang Tao and Li Ming together.

We are at the Provincial Capital airport; because we wanted to go to the departure hall, the airport refused. Do you have a way to get the airport to check on them?

See if they flew to another city, then from there abroad." I quickly told Zhu Sheng.

"Okay, Jianqiang, I'll contact the provincial bureau people to check." Zhu Sheng said.

Xiao Long looked at me: "Uncle, what can we do? How could my dad be so foolish? Moving the money is illegal."

"Your dad was bewitched by that woman Yang Tao. Alright, send your dad's phone number to Zhu Sheng so they can check and see if they can locate them."

Xiao Long sent Li Ming's phone number to Zhu Sheng.

I and Xiao Long waited anxiously outside the airport.

Many vehicles were coming and going in the airport.

We carefully watched the vehicles entering here, hoping to see Yang Tao and Li Ming's figures.

At that moment my phone rang again,

I saw it was Zhu Sheng calling again,

"Zhu Sheng, how is it?"

"Jianqiang, they are indeed at the airport; there is a flight to Sheep City at 7 p. m.

They bought that flight.

After arriving in Sheep City, they would take an international flight to the United Kingdom.

I have already arranged with the airport staff to prevent them from boarding." Zhu Sheng said.

Also, I'll bring people to the airport right away.

You guys had better catch them at machine Yang.

Damn it, this Yang Tao and Li Ming, I let them get scammed." Zhu Sheng was furious on the phone.
