Ji Suyun let out a long sigh, "When the two elders return from abroad, we'll go together to see Uncle Fu."

"If Xi Xi likes them, shall we give all the garden's flowers to Xi Xi?"

Yao Yao stood beside Lu Xiwán, his attention drawn to Xi Xi.

Their personalities are poles apart; Yao Yao is emotionally restrained and even shy when near Lu Xiwán.

Ji Suyun said that giving the whole garden's flowers to Xi Xi would make her happy, and Xi Xi indeed was delighted, but she tilted her head and thought carefully.

"Then Xi Xi can give those flowers to Auntie, so whenever Auntie sees flowers she'll think of Xi Xi!"

Ji Suyun covered her mouth and laughed softly, turning to look at Lu Xiwán and Fu Sijue, "Xi Xi is so cute, I'm reluctant to let her go back with you."

After a moment of hesitation, Yao Yao carefully cupped the rose with both hands and presented it before Lu Xiwán.

"My flowers, for Mommy."

After a hesitation, Yao Yao pulled out another blossom and handed it to Fu Sijue.

"One for Daddy too."

A hint of smile colored Fu Sijue's eyes.

Yao Yao said solemnly to Fu Sijue, "Daddy can also give the flower to Mommy."

Ji Suyun let out a "pfft" laugh.

Fu Sijue kept a stern face, "This is what you gave me."

Clearly not intending to return the flower to Yao Yao, Yao Yao looked up, eyes wide, at Fu Sijue.

He was a bit angry; in front of family he never hides his feelings.

"I give it to Daddy, Daddy gives it to Mommy, Mommy will be happy!"

Yao Yao's expressive ability is still limited, but that doesn't stop him from despising Fu Sijue.

Even the flower for Mommy he has to snatch; Daddy is too wicked!

Ji Suyun teased, "Ah, Yao Yao knows how to win a girl's favor better than you."

Fu Sijue lowered his gaze and said earnestly, "Then just give it directly to Mommy."

Yao Yao was completely defeated by Fu Sijue's flower, staring at him for a long while.

Finally, he moved his gaze away helplessly.

He suddenly understood why Mommy had always been indifferent to Daddy.

Seeing this, Fu Sijue stopped teasing Yao Yao and reached out to take the flower from his hand.

"Then I'll use the flower as an offering."

Yao Yao nodded satisfied and clasped Lu Xiwán's hand.

Lu Xixi, held by Ji Suyun, soon fell drowsy, her little head nodding bit by bit.
