Fu Sijue's gaze was sharp as he looked at the innocent‑faced Yun Ruojin.

She is far more advanced in cultivation than Gu Qingmeng.

"Without evidence, shouldn't you just stay silent? Miss Yun, you know how important reputation is for a girl, right?"

Yun Ruojin's hand froze, looking at the two of them in disbelief.

From Lu Xiwán's perspective, she felt so distressed she was about to burst into tears.

"My affairs are not my duty to tell Miss Yun," Fu Sijue said coldly, glancing at Yun Ruojin.

Fu Mingcheng glared at Fu Sijue, rebuking his rude words, "Don't speak like that; she only came over because she saw me too bored at home to keep me company."

Fu Sijue sneered, "Besides the Fu Clan's cooperative dealings with the Yun Family, I have no idea when the Yun Family became so concerned about Grandpa."

Fu Mingcheng's complexion darkened; he tapped his cane, speaking coldly.

"Since everyone is here, let's get ready to eat!"

Yun Ruojin obediently followed behind Fu Mingcheng, becoming lively again during the meal.

"Xi Xi, Yao Yao, whenever you have time, remember to come visit Grandpa for fun," Fu Mingcheng said with a smiling face to the two children, then impatiently tried to send them away.

Lu Xiwán delightedly watched that nose‑up woman take a beating, politely not exposing Fu Sijue's lie, letting him lead her out before she finally wriggled free of his large hand.

"Is Mr. Fu always deceiving the old master like this?"

Lu Xiwán said coldly, flicking her hand slightly to disperse the heat in her palm.

Fu Mingcheng thought Yun Ruojin was a suitable candidate; Fu Sijue could see it at a glance.

"Mommy, you all go faster!"
