Chapter 1: Tonight, let

~8 min read 1,587 words

Qin Yan had received her marriage certificate that morning.

Yet by evening, she learned that the marriage certificate she held was fake.

Her fiancé, Gu He'an, loved his "white moonlight," Lin Yan, but he also coveted Qin Yan's dowry. So, he had registered his marriage with his white moonlight first, then obtained a fake certificate to fool Qin Yan.

Once he secured her dowry, he would immediately cut ties with her and hold a grand wedding with his white moonlight.

When Qin Yan thought of that woman leaning into Gu He'an's arms, crying and saying, "I'll just treat Qin Yan as your concubine. Before we go public, you must make her cook for me, earn money for me to spend, and her status must not be higher than mine!"

She trembled with rage, her heart feeling as if it had been soaked in ice, making even breathing difficult.

Three years ago, Gu He'an was in a car accident and nearly became crippled; she was the one who saved him and cared for him day and night.

Six months ago, the Gu Group fell into a crisis; she was the one who knelt and begged others, preventing the Gu Group from going bankrupt.

Now, to please another woman, he wanted to humiliate her like this.

Heh, did he really think she, Qin Yan, was easy to bully?

She finished the wine in her glass, set it down, and though her steps were unsteady, her direction was clear.

She walked toward Gu He'an's arch-nemesis.

Lu Qianchuan.

The CEO of the Lu Group, and also the person most likely to swallow up the Gu Group.

"Are you single?"

Lu Qianchuan, dressed in a crisp suit and sitting elegantly, sat alone on the sofa. The air pressure around him was low, naturally forming a barrier that separated him from the lively crowd; no one dared to overstep.

But when Qin Yan walked over and fearlessly hooked the man's chin to ask this question, it was as if she had trampled that barrier to pieces.

A flash of astonishment crossed his deep, murky eyes.

Qin Yan didn't hear an answer, so she sat astride his lap in dissatisfaction, tugged at his tie, and spoke with a forceful tone.

"Answer me: yes, or no!"

The people nearby, seeing a woman dare to sit on the lap of this "living Yama," were so scared their legs went weak. "Is this woman crazy, or is she tired of living?"

"She seems to be Gu He'an's fiancée. Is the Gu Group about to go under, and is Gu He'an trying to scheme against Qianchuan again?"

"Whoever she is, daring to tease President Lu—she's ignorant of the heights of heaven and earth, she's courting death!"

The group chattered away, all telling her to get lost, which made Qin Yan irritable.

*Smack! *

She picked up a beer from the table and smashed it toward them.

The bottle shattered, shards flew, and the group retreated in terror.

Then they heard Qin Yan, her eyes red-rimmed, cold and sinister.

"Shut up, I wasn't asking you!"

"..."

This woman was fierce!

But with Lu Qianchuan's cold, ruthless, and thunderous methods, he would surely kill her!

Lu Qianchuan raised his hand. Just as everyone's nerves tightened, they watched the man's fingertips graze the woman's delicate, fair neck. If he applied force with his thumb and forefinger, he could take her life in seconds!

However, they only saw Lu Qianchuan brush the long hair scattered across her chest behind her back, his long fingers spreading out to comb through her hair.

"...!"

Everyone widened their eyes in shock once again.

Since when had the ascetic and perverted Lu Qianchuan become so gentle?

The next second, Lu Qianchuan's gaze, sharp as a knife's edge, swept over them with such pressure that everyone's hearts jumped, and they dared not make another sound.

Lu Qianchuan withdrew his gaze and smelled the heavy scent of alcohol on the woman; she was drunk.

He couldn't be bothered to argue with a drunkard, so he answered.

"Yes."

"Use the Gu Group's shares as a dowry, and you and I will register our marriage."

Qin Yan wasn't negotiating with him; she was notifying him.

Lu Qianchuan's black eyes were deep and dark. He brushed the stray hair by her ear again, his gaze fixed intently on her moist, crimson lips, which were like a poisonous apple that bewitched the heart, hooking all his attention.

"A contract marriage? I have no interest."

Even drunk, Qin Yan could feel that the man before her was dangerous yet charming.

And it piqued her interest.

She wrapped the tie in her hand once around her wrist and pulled him close abruptly.

She stopped just as her lips were about to touch the tip of his nose, her voice tinged with drunkenness but her words clear.

"I don't play house either. If we're going to play, let's play big."

Their breaths mingled, the girl's alcohol-scented breath spilling onto his face. Lu Qianchuan's Adam's apple bobbed violently; he felt as if he had been drinking too, a little tipsy.

But his voice remained cold and indifferent when he spoke. "How big do you want to play?"

Qin Yan smiled seductively, her gaze traveling inch by inch downward, toward his waist and between his legs.

"That depends on how big you can be."

"..." Lu Qianchuan's Adam's apple rolled again and again, but he still couldn't swallow the saliva pooling in his mouth.

Perhaps it was the alcohol going to her head, but Qin Yan felt hot and wanted to take off her coat, only to have her wrist grabbed by the man. She frowned in displeasure.

Lu Qianchuan had no interest in being watched while putting on a show of erotic art.

He bent down, picked her up, and strode outside.

Qin Yan felt like she was about to die—suffocated from lack of oxygen.

In a dimly lit room, the man pressed her against the wall, kissing her forcefully, plundering the air from her chest, giving her no chance to fight back.

When he let her go, he bit her lower lip.

It was as if he were a beast treating her as prey.

Terrifying, fierce, and bloody.

It left her momentarily dazed: did she really want to continue?

"So inexperienced. Did Gu He'an never teach you?" the man asked, his breath uneven.

Hearing Gu He'an's name, Qin Yan's body cooled slightly. Gu He'an had indeed never taught her; in the past, when his legs were injured, she had been considerate of his condition and always kept things proper.

Later, when his legs recovered, every time she took the initiative to get close, he would say that a girl should be more reserved.

It was nothing more than an excuse because he didn't love her and didn't want to touch her.

Since he had registered his marriage with another woman, what did it matter to him if she was no longer reserved?

The hesitation in her heart vanished instantly. She smiled at the man before her, exhaled a puff of hot air into his ear, and said, "Teach me more in the future. Tonight, let's play at being newlyweds."

Lu Qianchuan's pitch-black eyes stared burningly at the woman.

He cradled her face, his rough fingertips grinding against her soft, tender lips.

Although he restrained himself, her crimson lips were still rubbed pale. Only when she cried out in pain did he seem to come to his senses, his wavering self-control pulled back into place.

He was abruptly pushed away by her, and he turned to pour himself a glass of iced wine.

He needed to calm down.

He needed to be rational!

The man's scorching body suddenly pulled away, and Qin Yan, unhappy, stumbled over to him and sat on his lap, acting like a brat.

"You kissed me, and you don't want to take responsibility? Lu Qianchuan, I advise you not to be a scumbag."

Lu Qianchuan took a sip of wine, his Adam's apple sliding. The tie she had loosened could no longer hold his shirt together.

His shirt collar was also disheveled from kissing her just moments ago.

But he sat upright, his back straight, his expression cold and stern, his black eyes deep, looking down at her from a position of superiority.

"Once you play this game, you won't be able to end it," he warned coldly.

"You can be the one to end it, can't you? Lu Qianchuan, you brought me here, so play or not, you have to play!" Qin Yan suddenly felt a sense of rebellion.

He kissed her so fiercely just now, and now he says he won't play? Was he toying with her?

She snatched the wine glass from his hand and downed the wine in one gulp.

Then, she hooked the back of his neck and kissed him.

Her kissing technique was inexperienced and lacked method, yet she charged in recklessly, as if trying to shatter his rationality through this rash and wicked act.

Lu Qianchuan clenched his fists, and a second before losing control, he pushed her away.

"Qin Yan, what do you want from me?"

A woman who used to avoid him at all costs and wouldn't even spare him a glance was suddenly asking to be newlyweds with him—how could there be no ulterior motive!

The woman's crimson lips let out a low laugh, and she whispered something in his ear that made his pupils dilate several times over. ===== CHAPTER 2 =====
