Chapter 608: CEO of the Shoe Industry Company

Governor, Qingshui City Government is really going overboard. Having surplus funds, they don't take them out to invest in Old Citizen Meat Industry Co., Ltd, but actually give them to a shoe factory still in the planning stage to repair roads. This is dead-set on making the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission wipe their butt for them!

Director Huo, I think the leadership team of Qingshui City has done well this time. Chen Yang's shoe company has received orders from well-known foreign sports brands. If the supporting facilities are not done well, it will give a bad impression to those international visitors coming for inspection. Speaking more seriously, it could even affect the whole Dongjiangsheng's overseas investment promotion.

Governor, if Qingshui City and Chen Yang both ignore Old Citizen Meat Industry Co., Ltd, the pressure on the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission side will also be great!

This is your problem. You should negotiate well with them and jointly find the best solution. Absolutely cannot let such a good company just collapse.

Governor, I have always believed that Qingshui City should focus its efforts on Old Citizen Meat Industry Co., Ltd. That shoe factory could be relocated to Xingcheng, right?

Director Huo, we shouldn't dampen the local government's work enthusiasm. Chen Yang returning to Qingshui City at this time to invest in a shoe company is nothing more than wanting to repair relations with the Lin and Hu families. Having me play the bad guy now is inappropriate, isn't it?

Governor, you've misunderstood; I don't mean that.

You'd better not mean that. Also, the Old Citizen Agricultural Products Trading Company has recently run into some trouble. I don't want the same thing to happen again.

I understand!

……

In a certain VIP room of the Hong Kong Four Seasons Hotel, Chen Yang, who had rushed overnight from Qingshui City, received Deng Jia Ming, CEO of Shunfa Shoe Industry Co., Ltd, in the company of Su Mingyue and Zhu Zhu.

Chen Yang established a shoe company, and what he bought was precisely the technology patent of Shunfa Shoe Industry.

This time he flew over temporarily mainly because Zhu Zhu recommended Deng Jia Ming to him to serve as CEO of Old Citizen Shoe Industry Co., Ltd.

Someone who ruined his family's business—Chen Yang originally had no intention of using him. But Zhu Zhu suggested he bring him under his wing.

Her reason was: the shoes produced by Shunfa Shoe Industry Co., Ltd have never had problems; they merely lack an excellent marketing director.

Chen Yang came in person just to see whether Deng Jia Ming really has any real ability.

Deng Jia Ming is thirty-five years old, about 1.75 meters tall, and somewhat handsome. According to Su Mingyue's introduction, he is a friend Zhu Zhu has played with since childhood. His father and Zhu Zhu's late father were also close family friends.

In that case, Zhu Zhu and Deng Jiaming should have a relationship of green plum, ox, and horse.

However, Chen Yang noticed that although Zhu Zhu spoke very casually with Deng Jia Ming, there was no romantic feeling in her eyes.

Mr. Deng, can you adapt to life on the mainland?

Boss Chen, when I studied in England I also got to know a friend from Dongjiangsheng. I think I can still accept the taste of Dongjiangsheng.

Alright, then go give it a try. I hope our cooperation this time will be very pleasant!

Chen Yang happened to need someone who knows the business to supervise the construction progress of Old Citizen Shoe Industry Co., Ltd. He immediately urged Deng Jia Ming to go to Qingshui City to report for duty.

After Deng Jia Ming went back to make preparations, Chen Yang then softly asked Zhu Zhu: 'Is Deng Jia Ming your childhood sweetheart boyfriend?'

Zhu Zhu, being asked by Chen Yang about her private matter, blushed slightly and whispered: 'He's not my boyfriend. We're too familiar; dating would feel nothing.'

Chen Yang teased her: 'Deng Jia Ming is impressive; if you don't pick him now and he gets taken by someone else later, don't regret it!'

Zhu Zhu immediately gave Chen Yang a roll of her eyes, saying unhappily: 'Chen Yang, if we had feelings, we'd already be together; why would you need to worry about us?'

Moreover, he's not as good as you think. Just like you, he's also a big pig's trotter.

Chen Yang laughed embarrassedly. Zhu Zhu's disdain for this matter left him truly unable to refute. After all, Zhu Zhu is well aware of his affair with Liu Qingqing.

Alright, I still have to go to Shencheng to check the project progress, so I won't disturb your two-person world with Miss Su. Zhu Zhu gave Chen Yang a meaningful glance, then also left the private room.

'How does she know about our affairs?' Chen Yang still thought Zhu Zhu was talking about his affair with Liu Qingqing, not expecting that Su Mingyue had also seen through.

'How would I know?' Su Mingyue said dismissively: 'We're both single now; even if we were together, others couldn't care less.'

Chen Yang thought about it and agreed. He suddenly remembered something, and solemnly told Su Mingyue: 'Lin Wei probably also knows about our affairs. If you meet her in the future, you'd better be careful.'

Su Mingyue stuck out her tongue and said: 'I'm not planning to go to Qingshui anyway; how would she have a chance to cause me trouble?'

Chen Yang sighed. He found that being caught between three women was also quite exhausting. But this feeling of painful yet happy was indeed exhilarating.

After the meal, Chen Yang planned to go see Liu Qingqing and her child, then return to Qingshui.

Upon hearing that Chen Yang wanted to go find Liu Qingqing, Su Mingyue made an excuse and first returned to Shencheng.

For safety's sake, Chen Yang took two of his four personal bodyguards to send Su Mingyue off, and himself brought the remaining two bodyguards to Liu Qingqing's hillside villa.

'Senior, aren't you building a shoe factory in Qingshui City? How did you come to Hong Kong?' Seeing Chen Yang appear before her eyes, Liu Qingqing was a little surprised.

Chen Yang explained: 'I came with Su Mingyue to discuss the transfer of shoe factory technology, and by the way came to see you.'

'Su Su?' Liu Qingqing, upon hearing that Su Mingyue had also come, asked instinctively.

'She still has matters to return to Shencheng for.'

'Oh!' Liu Qingqing immediately understood Su Mingyue's meaning. This is to give them an opportunity to be alone together.

However, she also happened to have something to ask Chen Yang. 'Senior, my grandfather wants Si Yang to take the Liu family surname. What do you think?'

'No way, children shouldn't take the mother's surname; society would fall into chaos!' Chen Yang immediately voiced his opposition. Although Chen Si Yu's birth was accidental, after all she is the first descendant of this generation of the old Chen family.

Liu Qingqing hesitated a moment, then asked Chen Yang again: 'Grandfather wants us to go get the certificate. So the child can have a legal identity—what do you think?'

Chen Yang also wanted to give Chen Si Yu and Chen Shengjun a legal identity. But this would inevitably cause the Lin family to be dissatisfied with him, causing the painstakingly repaired relationship to collapse again.

If mishandled, the Old Citizen Shoe Industry Co., Ltd currently under preparation would also go under.

Moreover, he couldn't be sure that Liu Qingqing wouldn't become a second Lin Wei.

If Liu Qingqing, after marriage, also keeps thinking about his past with Lin Wei and Su Mingyue, then he'd have to make another trip to the Civil Affairs Bureau.
