Chapter 218: His Lie

Han Yangting pushed a cup of tea in front of her.

"Drink some tea."

She took it and took a gentle sip.

In the blink of an eye, it was the weekend.

Just after getting off work on Friday, she received a call from Xiaofeng.

"Mom, Dad has something to tell you."

The call was transferred to Han Yangting.

Bai Shuruo immediately straightened her back in vigilance.

"Off work?" he asked.

"Just got off."

"As I told you last week, we're going to Disney this weekend." Han Yangting stopped there, trusting that Bai Shuruo understood.

Bai Shuruo quickly said, "I know. I'll just go back to the dormitory and pack some things. Is it... are we going tonight? Or tomorrow?"

Han Yangting said, "I'll come to pick you up early tomorrow morning, and we'll stay at a hotel for the night tomorrow."

Bai Shuruo hurried back to pack her things.

The next day, Han Yangting's car arrived early. Bai Shuruo went downstairs and saw Han Yangting and Xiaofeng sitting in the back row of the business van.

Xiaofeng was sitting in her safety seat, Han Yangting was sitting next to her, and Ali was driving.

So Bai Shuruo had to either sit in the front passenger seat or sit next to Han Yangting.

Xiaofeng saw Bai Shuruo and quickly pointed to the seat next to Han Yangting: "Mom, hurry up and get in the car."

She ate one first and discovered it was actually meat floss flavored, mixed with crushed peanuts; it was very fragrant.

"Xiaofeng, are you still hungry? Do you want to eat some?" Bai Shuruo asked Xiaofeng subconsciously.

Whenever she had something in her hand, she would subconsciously want to feed Xiaofeng.

Xiaofeng said across the middle, Han Yangting: "Mom, I'm already full, I'm not hungry at all. Dad said this portion is only enough for you to eat by yourself."

Bai Shuruo looked at Han Yangting in surprise.

Han Yangting gave a "cough," still looking ahead with an expressionless face.

Ali, who was driving in front, couldn't help but complain in his heart: Boss, just keep pretending. It was clearly you who packed the breakfast yourself, yet you insisted on teaching your daughter to lie, and even called it a white lie.

Bai Shuruo just ate it herself.

With two green rice balls down, she felt completely full.

Han Yangting asked Xiaofeng another question at this moment: "Xiaofeng, are you thirsty?"

Xiaofeng shook her head: "Daddy, I'm not thirsty."

"Then have a bottle of AD Calcium Milk; isn't that what you like to drink?"

After saying this, Han Yangting took a pack of AD Calcium Milk from under the seat, opened one for Xiaofeng, and conveniently handed one to Bai Shuruo as well.

Bai Shuruo had just eaten a green rice ball and happened to be thirsty, so she took it readily. She usually liked drinking this kind of sweet and sour stuff; it was both thirst-quenching and cut through the greasiness.

After finishing it, she felt completely satisfied.

Ali, who was driving in front, couldn't help but curl his lip.

The boss really is a hypocritical guy.

The car drove out of the city center, and it wasn't long before they reached the airport.

After flying for another two hours, they finally arrived in Shanghai in the afternoon.

Han Yangting had booked a hotel inside Disney, and the Disney tickets were valid for two days; if they couldn't finish playing today, they could continue tomorrow. Therefore, after tidying up briefly that afternoon, they took a private car into the park.

The most troublesome thing about going to an amusement park is queuing; however, Han Yangting had bought an all-access pass, so they didn't need to queue for any of the attractions and could play as soon as they arrived.

It was just that because of height restrictions, the attractions they accompanied Xiaofeng on were all rather childish, such as the Pirate Ship, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and so on.

There were photos to choose from for every attraction, and Xiaofeng insisted on picking them, so they ended up with quite a few photos, each one featuring the three of them.

That night, after watching the fireworks and having dinner, they returned to the hotel.

Han Yangting had booked a suite with three bedrooms and one living room; Bai Shuruo and Xiaofeng stayed in one room, and he stayed in one himself.

Because Xiaofeng was too tired from playing, she fell asleep quickly after Bai Shuruo gave her a bath.

After washing up, Bai Shuruo went to the living room to get some hot water to drink.

As a result, she saw Han Yangting sitting on the sofa in the living room watching TV.
