Chapter 156: Bastard, still dare to commit domestic violence?
Wen Ling felt guilty, she kept whining and insisted that Zhou Yinhe not hold it against her.
Zhou Yinhe enjoyed her coquettishness, and when Wen Ling was about to stop, he gave a faint hum.
"I'm exhausted." Wen Ling let go, flopped back onto the bed to look at her phone, saying she'd withdraw just like that, so straightforward that Zhou Yinhe was stunned.
"You're really something." Zhou Yinhe laughed angrily, raised his hand and gave her a medium-strength slap on her buttocks; Wen Ling yelped, sprang up and shouted, "Aren't you not angry anymore? Why did you hit me!"
Zhou Yinhe smoothed the hair falling onto his forehead to the back of his head, gave a cold snort, turned and walked out.
"Does this even count as a hit?" He walked to the door, and before opening it to go out, he glanced back at the indignant Wen Ling and said, "I think I hit too lightly!"
Wen Ling glared, barefoot she got out of bed and chased after Zhou Yinhe, jumped up and grabbed his neck, gritted her teeth and said, "Bastard, you still dare to commit domestic violence."
"Can this be called domestic violence? I didn't even use force then, at most it's just a murmur." Zhou Yinhe laughed, afraid she'd fall he reached out to support her leg, but before those two words could come out, Wen Ling covered his mouth to warn him.
"Bastard bastard, don't say that."
Zhou Yinhe murmured and nodded, then Wen Ling finally released her hand covering his mouth.
After Zhou Yinhe put her back on the bed and she put on her shoes, Wen Ling got up, stood in place waiting for him to walk ahead, she narrowed her eyes and stepped forward to deliver a hard slap, landing exactly where he had just hit her.
Force is mutual; I don't know if Zhou Yinhe felt pain, but her hand hurt.
Zhou Yinhe was first quite surprised; turning around he saw Wen Ling cupping her hand, eyes brimming with tears, looking extremely pitiful.
His tone amused, he pulled Wen Ling's hand and rubbed it, saying, "See, people still shouldn't do bad deeds; karma comes fast, right?"
Zhou Yinhe subconsciously said something cheeky, and his karma came.
Wen Ling was very angry, and all the way until they returned to Feng Qi Yuan, she ignored Zhou Yinhe.
She kept a cold face the whole time, arms crossed, refusing to let Zhou Yinhe take her hand no matter how he tried.
Ning Qing saw this and exclaimed "aiyo".
"What happened? Did you guys argue?"
"Wen Ling bit her lip, on the verge of tears, said, 'Auntie, he hit me and said it's my karma.'"
"???" No, wait a moment.
Zhou Yinhe couldn't believe it; Ning Qing's slap had already landed on his back, she sternly scolded, "You've got guts, daring to hit Ah Ling; if I don't beat you today to the point you're embarrassed to eat, that just shows how thick-skinned you are!"
"……" Zhou Yinhe glanced at Wen Ling hiding behind Ning Qing, flashing eyebrows and sticking out her tongue at him, "Alright, getting hit is getting hit; as long as Wen Ling smiles, it's fine."
The family had dinner together, Wen Ling still ignored Zhou Yinhe, but after everyone returned to their rooms, she hugged his waist and whispered, "Are you angry?"
During the meal just now, Zhou Yinhe hadn't spoken much.
Zhou Yinhe turned and embraced her, saying, "I'm not angry, what's there to be angry about?"
Wen Ling let out an "oh", tightened her arms around his waist, and suddenly said, "Your waist is so slim."
"Are you going to bully me again?"
"No, just giving you a compliment." Wen Ling shook her head, "Am I really that bad?"
"Yes." Zhou Yinhe said that word with absolute certainty.
Wen Ling pretended to cry with sniffling, Zhou Yinhe deliberately teased her, gruffly saying, "Oh gee, I don't even know who it was just now that got me hit."
The crying stopped abruptly; Wen Ling, who changes expression faster than flipping a page, gave a hum, let go of Zhou Yinhe, went around him and headed upstairs; Zhou Yinhe followed, muttering beside her: "This is you being angry, I'm not even angry yet, I didn't even hurt you, look at the force you used when you hit me—your own hand hurts—and then you went and tattled to my mom, causing me to get hit several more times."
Wen Ling stopped and glared at him; Zhou Yinhe was startled by her sudden turn, Hehe wagged its tail behind them, looking puzzled at the two, as if wondering why they weren't leaving.
Zhou Yinhe lowered his head, picked up Hehe, squeezed its paws and shook them, saying, "Sorry, Baobao, don't be angry."
His tone was serious; Wen Ling was just teasing him, so she couldn't stay angry, gave a light hum, took Hehe from his arms, and while going upstairs asked, "Where's Hum hum?"
"Probably followed my parents to their room; just now I saw it follow upstairs."
Wen Ling wasn't too worried about Hum hum running around; compared to Hehe, Hum hum is much more timid.
Up to the second floor, Zhou Yinhe took Wen Ling's hand and led her to his room, saying, "Stay here tonight."
Wen Ling agreed, anyway she's not in a condition right now, Zhou Yinhe wouldn't do anything to her, at most some fooling around, and in the end the one who suffers is himself.
But she never expected Zhou Yinhe's shamelessness to reach this extent!
"Annoying to death." Wen Ling's voice choked with tears as she pushed at Zhou Yinhe with both hands; even while scolding him, her soft, coquettish voice only made his reaction stronger.
"Baobao, be good." Zhou Yinhe's voice hoarse and low, he buried his face in Wen Ling's neck, inhaling the same scent from the body wash she had just used with his, his eyes gradually growing obsessed.
He loved her so much that he didn't know what to do; only at times like this, only when they were alone together, could he reveal his dark inner thoughts.
He wanted to bind Wen Ling to his side for life, preferably keeping her within half a meter so he could constantly watch her and reach out to touch her at any moment.
Wen Ling sobbed, though she thought Zhou Yinhe was over the top, but overall, because she had teased him in the afternoon and then, after tattling on him, got hit, she felt a slight guilt and thus leaned on him.
All the way until she fell asleep, the corners of her eyes were still red; Zhou Yinhe knelt beside her side of the bed, holding a wet towel, carefully drying her hands, and left a kiss on her palm.
Her palm was scorching hot, just like his heart.
In the morning when she woke up, Zhou Yinhe wasn't in the room; Wen Ling got up to get out of bed, but as she pushed herself up using the bed's edge, her wrist felt sore.
She couldn't hold back a whimper, lowered her head and bit the corner of her lip while rubbing it.
Actually last night Zhou Yinhe had restrained himself a lot, a restraint that Wen Ling could easily notice; she never imagined that no matter how outrageous Zhou Yinhe had been before, she had never felt this bad, but now the gentle autumn wind and rain made her unable to bear it.
Whether it was a tacit understanding or not, after she had rubbed her wrist for a little while, Zhou Yinhe returned.
Seeing her innocent expression at the bedside, he frowned and asked, "What's wrong? Does your wrist hurt?"
He hurried over, knelt on one knee before her knee, and carefully examined her wrist.
No swelling, Zhou Yinhe breathed a sigh of relief, Wen Ling whispered, "It should have been twisted last night."
"Ah..." Zhou Yinhe only then felt a bit embarrassed.
Wen Ling looked down at him, a flicker of smile in her eyes; the bastard's deeds were many, but Zhou Yinhe has a trait that others might never figure out in a lifetime.
But Wen Ling somewhat knows a bit about it.
