Chapter 26: Bai Weiwei Finds the Meaning of Life
In the front garden of Villa No. 6 in the Shangcheng Huafu residential complex, a professional preparation team is busy at work.
Service staff in uniform move back and forth in a hurry, neatly arranging top-tier ingredients flown in from all over the world.
Top-grade steak from Australia exudes a rich, meaty aroma, its beautiful marble texture appearing like a masterpiece of nature. The service staff carefully place the steak onto a custom-made plate, accompanied by fresh black pepper and sea salt.
Salmon from Norway, its orange-red flesh looking fresh and tender, is sliced into thin pieces and arranged on an iceberg, surrounded by lemon slices and mint leaves, with a fresh scent wafting over.
A grill made of pure silver shines with a luxurious luster, and the high-end seasoning bottles nearby look like exquisite works of art. In a giant ice bucket in the corner of the garden, expensive champagne and wine emit an alluring aroma.
Lin Dazhi lies lazily in a lounge chair under a parasol, enjoying the scenery before him while savoring the food being fed to him by Bai Weiwei, his expression quite content.
Large, plump imported Shine Muscat grapes, sweet and juicy upon entering the mouth; Lin Dazhi eats one and spits out the skin casually, while Bai Weiwei to the side skillfully catches it with her fair, delicate hand, tosses it into a nearby trash can, and turns to feed him a piece of golden, soft Monthong durian.
Lin Dazhi smells that rich, pungent odor, frowns, but still eats a small bite.
"Hmm, it smells pretty disgusting, but it actually tastes quite good; no wonder you women all like to eat this." Lin Dazhi tastes a bite and gently pats Bai Weiwei's plump thigh as he speaks.
"Lin, do you not like eating it?" Bai Weiwei asks with a grin.
"A durian costs two or three hundred; I can't even earn that much delivering packages for a day. Is it just burning money? Zhou Yue used to love eating this, making the whole house smell like it, and I couldn't bear to eat it!" Lin Dazhi says, as if recalling the situation from before. His gaze sweeps to the left, where a row of high-rises in the complex stands more than two hundred meters away, among which is his former home. Thinking about how he worked so hard to earn money, only for Zhou Yue to be like a bottomless pit, squandering his hard-earned cash like flowing water, Lin Dazhi feels that his former self was like a complete idiot.
"Well, there aren't many good things among women; a rotten piece of trash like Zhou Yue is just like this durian—it looks expensive on the outside, but once you peel it open, there's a stench inside. Disgusting!" Bai Weiwei says, while feeding Lin Dazhi a Chilean cherry.
"And you?" Lin Dazhi chews the ping-pong-ball-sized cherry, enjoying the mouthful of sweet, full juice, and finishes by casually spitting the pit into Bai Weiwei's hand.
"I'm not a good thing either, but I have a better fate than Zhou Yue; I met Lin, who bound the Lick Dog System to me, and only now do I know what the meaning of being a woman is." Bai Weiwei sighs and says.
"Oh? Then tell me, what is the meaning of being a woman?" Lin Dazhi asks with a curious smile, seeing that Bai Weiwei seems very emotional.
"A woman is born for a man. Take me, for example: a master's degree in finance from a Double First-Class university, and before twenty-seven, I became a Gold Medal Salesperson at Jiangzhou Bank through my own efforts. I used to be very proud, thinking I was remarkable, but these things didn't make me feel happy; instead, they made my mental pressure grow greater and greater. I thought I wasn't working hard enough, so I worked even harder, but I was still unhappy. It wasn't until you, Lin, turned me into your Lick Dog that I found the goal for which I came into this world and understood what kind of thing I am."
As she speaks, Bai Weiwei kneels on Lin Dazhi's lap, presses her charming face against the base of his sturdy thigh, parts her red lips slightly, and whispers with a dazed look in her eyes: "This body of mine is grown just for you. My high-education halo is like a brand logo, used to heighten your interest when you play with me. Lin, the moment I decided to let both my body and soul submit beneath your feet, I suddenly understood the meaning of my life. Lin, you really don't know how happy and joyful I've been from yesterday until now!"
As Bai Weiwei says this, she feels a warm, large hand gently stroking her face, and the temperature radiating from the palm combined with the intense masculine scent makes her body tremble violently.
Lifting her charming little face, Bai Weiwei looks at Lin Dazhi and says infatuatedly: "The husband is the guide for the wife, the three obediences and four virtues—I used to disdain the principles I learned in school, but now I finally understand; they make so much damn sense! Those trashy women who are self-righteous every day, shouting about wanting equality while being useless themselves and only knowing how to leech off men, aren't even qualified to be your disposable items!"
"Xiao Bai, that you can say these things to me shows that you have truly thought seriously over these past two days. You are actually very smart; it's just that your intelligence wasn't used on the right path before, but it's not too late to figure it out now. Alright, stop kneeling, go and get ready; the guests are coming." Lin Dazhi says with a gentle smile, a hint of encouragement in his eyes.
"Mm." Bai Weiwei nods, rises softly, and straightens her dress.
The LV little black dress, costing over sixty thousand, was once her dream, but now, to her, it is nothing more than a slightly better-looking piece of wrapping paper.
She turns her head and happens to see a black Audi Q5 parked in the parking space outside the gate. The car door opens, and her good friend Zhou Yue sticks a leg out from the passenger seat.
"Little bitch." Bai Weiwei's lips move slightly, and she spits out the two words in a voice only she can hear.
The next moment, she opens her arms and greets her enthusiastically.
"Darling, why did you only just arrive? Come in quickly!" Bai Weiwei passes through the exquisite white iron gate and heads toward Zhou Yue.
"I just finished class." Zhou Yue also opens her arms and hugs Bai Weiwei, but her gaze passes over her shoulder to look at Lin Dazhi in the garden.
The latter is there, leisurely smoking a cigarette and scrolling through his phone, not even glancing at her.
"Little bitch!" Zhou Yue lightly pats Bai Weiwei's back, her smile unchanged, her lips moving silently.
In the garden, a small band begins to play. The elegant sound of a violin rises, sliding through the air like silk, and immediately after, the sound of a piano flows like a clear spring, weaving a moving melody with the violin.
"Weiwei, this is just a gathering for us sisters; why did you make it so grand? When did this No. 6 Courtyard turn into a homestay? It must cost a lot for one night." Zhou Yue enters the courtyard, looks at everything around her, and asks, pretending to be casual.
"I'll tell you once everyone is here. Come, come, let me take you inside to see this house first." Bai Weiwei says with an impatient look.
