Chapter 2127

He was born in the State of Kite, and he is also the son of the current King Shen. What does the Void Spirit City think of this?

"I haven't heard my father mention it." He Yue thought carefully, "Before I set out, the Treasure Elephant Demon State seemed to have just signed three or four border trade agreements with my country, quite amicably."

He Lingchuan nodded slowly.

"Big brother, the Void Spirit City isn't causing us trouble. What do you think is the reason?"

"Naraka Heaven." He Lingchuan spoke frankly, "First, my development is already independent of He Chunhua, and he cannot interfere. Even if Beijia goes to provoke Shen State, it would be useless; great powers usually don't engage in meaningless quarrels. Second, Shen State was ultimately supported by the Kshatriya Heaven—I'll speak plainly, don't be angry—the gods of Void Spirit City are now in internal turmoil and temporarily don't want to provoke Naraka Heaven."

He glanced at He Yue's worry: "You can see from the recent frequency of imperial flow slurry appearing that the heavens are quite chaotic. I think Shen State doesn't need to worry about Beijia's retaliation in the short term."

He Yue visibly relaxed: "That's good. Father, the king also said the same, but I always feel he's only reporting good news, not bad, deliberately comforting us."

He Lingchuan laughed. This foolish boy clearly told him that he trusts his elder brother more, not his father.

However, once He Chunhua's nature is seen through, others find it hard to place trust in him.

This is his own doing.

He Yue hesitated again.

He Lingchuan personally poured him a cup of tea: "But speaking is fine."

"Big brother, I heard that the State of Elegance is very strong." He Yue spoke softly, "Why do you want to send troops now?"

He Lingchuan said leisurely, "If I were to attack a weak state, could it deter other powers? Could it allow Cangyan to hold its head high on this land?"

"That makes sense." He Yue asked when he didn't understand, "By the way, Mr. Dong took me to observe the battlefield today, and the knives and spears held by the vanguard of the Dragon God Army actually pierced armor and broke through defenses as if entering an uninhabited land, not even blocked by the Ya army's yuan force!"

This statement was exaggerated by three parts, after all, he was praising his own brother. The Ya army wasn't that fragile, but he was indeed curious.

"These are special weapons." New weapons appearing on the open battlefield cannot remain secret for long, so He Lingchuan doesn't mind leaking them, "Compared to ordinary weapons, they have one or two additional custom special properties, such as armor-piercing, sharpness, explosion, etc. This is a legacy from antiquity; as the concentration of spiritual energy in heaven and earth gradually recovers to ancient levels, these old formulas can be brought out for use."

He raised his cup and took a sip: "The opponent's yuan force is still in effect. Let me give you a rough analogy: the Black Armor Army's original attack capability, after the opponent's yuan force offsets it, if it's five points, then with special weapons, it can still be one or two points more than before. Of course, how much effect can truly be exerted still depends on the opponent's yuan force. But victory or defeat on the battlefield sometimes hinges on the slightest margin, so even increasing by one point is good. Ha, if the opponent's yuan force is weak, then the effectiveness of special weapons is even greater."

He Yue exclaimed: "That's incredible!"

Becoming stronger on the original basis, even by just one or two points, when placed on the battlefield, increases the chances of victory.

He clicked his tongue in wonder: "Opened my eyes, I've never seen this on the battlefield before."

Over a year ago, in Shen State's founding war, soldiers still held pure cold weapons. Indeed, this trip wasn't a mistake—just arriving at my brother's territory, I can see these novel good things.

He Lingchuan laughed: "Don't say it's just you, the Ya State is also seeing this for the first time. You kid picked a lucky moment."

The grand battle lasted two days; in the early stage, both sides engaged in indirect contact, until today when the main forces appeared, the Black Armor Army unveiled the special weapons as their trump card, indeed delivering a small shock to the enemy.

How many years has the Ya State existed? Their troops had never encountered special weapons before, and this time they were thrown into chaos by the Black Armor Army's attack.

Still suffering from the lack of history/culture.

The gap between special weapons and ordinary weapons is too large; according to He Lingchuan's knowledge, the front lines of Beijia and Mou State only have a few troops possessing them, and they haven't been able to equip on a large scale.

The concentration of heaven and earth's spiritual energy has just recovered, and human warfare won't catch up that quickly.

Unless there is a driving force.

However, the change in the larger environment will certainly bring new forms, new weapons, and new propositions to war; whoever can first react and timely adjust will seize the initiative;

Whoever remains like a frog boiled in warm water will suffer great losses on the battlefield.

He Yue was greatly moved: "Can these special weapons be custom-made?"

"Of course, but specific materials and formulas are needed." He Lingchuan smiled, "Fortunately, I have no shortage of these minerals on the Flash Gold Plains."

Is the formula hard to obtain? Nonsense, of course it's hard!

These are materials from ancient antiquities; very few countries in the world can possess them.

At this moment, whether it's Ling Mountain or Mou State, their relations with Cangyan are not pleasant, and they would never share the special weapons formula with it.

But this doesn't stump He Lingchuan, because he still has another more convenient channel to obtain them:

Panlong World!

In the Panlong World, Ling Mountain and Panlongcheng reached an agreement, not only making the special weapons formula public to Panlongcheng, but also transporting materials from the Flash Gold Plains to it.

He Lingchuan now sits in possession of the Flash Gold Plains, lacking nothing in these materials; once he obtains the formula, he will immediately start work!

Special weapons are not easy to make; after obtaining the formula, Songyang Prefecture tried seven or eight versions in succession before producing a sample with stable quality, controllable properties, and suitability for the current spiritual energy environment, only then could mass production begin.

Due to issues with process stability and manufacturing proficiency, several months of time are insufficient for rushed production, so only a part of He Lingchuan's Black Armor Army under his command can be equipped.

He must ensure that special weapons play their most important role in the most critical battle, so he has held back until today to unleash them as a trump card.

Indeed, the effect is extraordinary.

He Yue immediately said: "Does Shen State have these materials?"

He Lingchuan shook his head. The former Panlongcheng didn't have them, and now Shen State doesn't either.

"Then, can our country in the future purchase these materials from the Flash Gold Plains?" He Yue, as an envoy, naturally thought of national interests first, "Um, I mean when the secret of special weapons can be made public."

He Lingchuan smiled faintly: "If the Kshatriya Heaven holds the formula, I don't mind selling the materials to Shen State now. Otherwise, we'll just have to wait a bit longer."

He Yue nodded: "Understood!"

He thought for a moment, still couldn't help but ask: "Big brother, just based on special weapons, are you going to attack Ya State?"

Special weapons and ordinary weapons are indeed not of the same era. But...

"How much do you know about Ya State?"

"Ya State?" He Yue recalled the materials he had read, "I heard it's a powerful state from Mou State to the Flash Gold Plains region, with military strength second only to Mou State."

"Correct, and there's more?"
