The sun set, the resort staff gradually set up the evening party venue, and faint noises came from afar.

Jiang Liangjin helped tidy up the painting supplies, and the two headed toward the venue.

Jiang Liangjin lifted his chin, "Over there."

Mu Youyu looked over and saw the eye-catching Yu Ci pulling Gu Xingnan to stand in front of the dessert table, Gu Xingnan holding two plates.

"Let's go over."

Roughly two to three classes shared a table, and their class's seats were full.

Yu Ci spotted them and waved immediately, "You finally came, I'm about to be annoyed to death by this crowd."

He jerked his chin to the side; Mu Youyu looked over and saw a few teachers in formal attire standing not far away, their glances occasionally flicking this way, looking like they were observing.

"Admissions office?" Mu Youyu asked.

Jiang Liangjin stood beside her, his gaze sweeping the venue, quickly recognizing a few familiar faces.

They were admissions staff from various prestigious schools, plus some representatives sent by the schools, mingling in the crowd, waiting for an opportunity.

"No kidding." The grilled meat had arrived; Yu Ci picked up a piece of mille-feuille and started eating, "Just now several groups came to ask me, I said I'd consider it, but they kept pestering me!"

Jiang Liangjin reached out, took a small one and handed it to her, "Eat less sweet stuff, or you won't sleep well at night."

"Just one." Mu Youyu took it, bit a mouthful, then spat it onto a napkin, and handed the remaining half to him, "I saved this for you."

Jiang Liangjin helplessly chuckled, first helped her throw the napkin into the trash, then took the macaron and ate it in one bite.

The host finally finished his speech, began the announcements, and the first act was Lin Ning singing.

Mu Youyu instantly perked up, pulling Jiang Liangjin forward a bit.

Lin Ning wore a gentle little dress, her hair loose, standing at the center of the stage; she looked much more refined than usual.

Mu Youyu immediately thought of the word that best described her now, and inexplicably found it a bit funny.

Mu Youyu also waved, watching her walk off toward the backstage.

For the subsequent programs, aside from a few individuals from Class 1, Mu Youyu had little interest; she pulled Jiang Liangjin back to their original spot, while Yu Ci and Gu Xingnan remained there, one plate already empty.
