Chapter 521: Author's interjection

~7 min read 1,308 words

——Author's interjection

——Thank you very much to every little treasure who sees this!

This story is a noble school sweet pet + group pet theme I've always liked; I'm not good at writing attractive introductions, openings, or sentences.

The writing is still immature; in the writing process I constantly revise and polish.

But I really want to continue writing the stories of Youbao, A Jin, and others.

I never expected so many little treasures to watch and like Youbao and A Jin, and like the characters I write!

I'm truly especially moved.

The outline of this book was prepared at the beginning of 2024; relatively speaking it's quite complete, and one can say typing it out has been fairly smooth.

Speaking of this, I want to thank again everyone who has commented, liked, urged updates, watched ads and sent gifts, pointed out typos, helped promote my book during a drought, and silently supported me, cheered me on, and always accompanied me.

You guys are really too good and too warm, waa waa waa, without you I basically couldn't continue writing in such a good state, I declare my love to all of you!

——

Let's talk about the plot!

I think stopping the main text at the boys' confession and becoming official is the most perfect ending.

However, after the confession there will still be a complete volume of content; consider the first volume of the main text to have ended perfectly here, and the subsequent story will continue.

By the way, at first many people said there were too many characters, a bit chaotic, with a crowd all rushing up at once, making it confusing and hard to remember. This is also something I want to improve.

Next, A Ci and A Nan may appear more often; the little treasures who click in are just here to see the main couple.

But I prefer ensemble casts; side characters and side couples are indispensable.

They won't have more plot than Youbao and A Jin, but relatively speaking, A Ci and A Nan still appear in a few more chapters than other side characters.

They've known Youbao and A Jin since elementary school, always walking together; plus, some of their interaction segments relate to plot direction, about pushing some characters to appear later, and there are also some small details.

So I ultimately kept their screen time, and thank those little treasures who are willing to like them.

Below I'll respond to some questions:

1. Why did I write a period of misunderstanding and separation for Youbao and A Jin earlier?

Before high school, Youbao's setting was being spoiled by several older brothers, a tsundere white-cut-black miss; from childhood to adulthood, almost everything went her way, and if something didn't, her loving brothers would also give in.

Apart from seeing Jiang Liangjin's pose looking like he'd kissed someone, there was almost nothing that worried her.

This matter is also the process of their emotional growth and mental change.

2. Why is A Jin so capable yet doesn't hit them?

Back then neither of them liked bodyguards; the other side had so many people that a human pyramid could trap A Jin, and they all had weapons.

And A Jin is calm and rational enough; if he acted impulsively, I don't know if he could win, but getting injured would be certain.

If A Jin knew Youbao was watching, he'd definitely charge in.

3. Why didn't Youbao wait for A Jin to explain and just leave?

She actually gave him a chance, waited, but A Jin was injured then, unconscious, so she didn't know.

The family was busy handling the company and A Jin's affairs, didn't have time to say.

And Youbao is used to being favored, in a passive state; before, everything was A Jin seeking her out. So she kept waiting for A Jin to come find her, and didn't go ask.

A Jin didn't come to the middle school exam; Youbao thought of giving him another chance, hoping he'd appear at the gathering.

Unfortunately, there was none; repeatedly disappointed, she went to A City in a huff and changed all contact info.

But she didn't know the other brothers had blocked her info, and she wouldn't know. Thus they completely lost contact.

4. The Jiang family is stronger, so why can't they find Youbao?

The Jiang family does have the Shen family, but the Mu family has the Song family, and Xun Li unconditionally helps Shenshen hide Youbao's information.

So they can't find it.

Later Youbao was in A City; the other brothers only occasionally came to play with her, except the second brother came more often; basically no family members returned.

And then she started to let loose with Wanwan, Cencen, and Xiao Yu.

The side story of that year in A City is also indispensable~

5. Why wait to be bullied if not wanting to return to C Shi so quickly?

She couldn't beat Fu Qin; others who stepped forward were all beaten back by Fu Qin. Later she couldn't take it, called her parents, and just thought it didn't matter, so she returned to C Shi.

6. Why did the two dye their hair at the beginning?

The side story will explain the reason; childhood episodes are equally indispensable!

Not changing it back is because the other party thinks it looks good.

Later, after a long separation and reunion, resolving the misunderstanding made them feel guilty, and they reconciled as before.

7. Why do some people know the Mu family has a miss, while others don't? 【Refer to chapter 83】

Earlier the eldest brother revealed that the Mu family had a miss. But Youbao doesn't like bodyguards, hiding in dark places each time she could still be found.

The family then withdrew all information about Youbao. Although the Mu, Jiang, Song, Lin, Y Guo, and M Guo protected Youbao, the more identities there were, the more dangerous they felt; moreover, Youbao was often sick at that time.

Hiding information was their first choice.

So others also heard it from those who knew; some believed the Mu family still had a miss, some didn't.

8. Why does everyone know Shenshen?

Shenshen is in Y Guo, also has personal bodyguards, has the Duke's Mansion and Y Guo protection, plus will later be the heir of the Duke's Mansion, and around are Jun Chenling's guards.

After age three, he went to Y Guo and wasn't long before it was announced, but still more Y Guo nationals know his identity.

Later Youbao grew a bit, didn't like bodyguards, the family let her be, and still didn't announce her info.

Later when Youbao went to Y Guo willing to bring bodyguards, and her health was mostly fine, the family then announced her info.

9. Regarding the second brother "hitting" A Jin, it will be placed in the A City one-year side story plus the Mu Xi side story, oh, two different perspectives.

Little treasures, do you have anything else you want to ask?

Tip: Youbao always feels that A Jin is steady, an outwardly cold but inwardly hot personality, oh.

The next chapter starts a new volume, still the story of Youbao and A Jin, with some college life added, followed by the engagement banquet. As for marriage and married life, those will be placed at the end.

The next chapter will start from Chapter 1, seeing many little treasures reluctant to part; maybe this volume will have more, it's uncertain, written as I feel.

Afterwards come the childhood side story, the side story of Youbao going to A City for a year, the side CP side stories including Ningning, older brothers' side stories, etc., in no particular order~

Finally, thank you dear readers for your liking, and I wish everyone smooth sailing and a good mood every day!
