In the evening, Mu Youyu and Feng Cen played outside until very late before they called it a night.

Feng Cen had the driver drop her off at the villa gate; the car stopped outside the courtyard, engine still running. "Your house looks not bad; I thought you were renting an apartment, but I didn't expect it to be a standalone villa."

Mu Youyu's motion to undo her seatbelt paused slightly; she didn't answer directly: "It's arranged by the elders at home."

Feng Cen gave a thumbs-up: "Sure."

Mu Youyu stepped out of the car, waving at her: "Bye, go home early to rest, and be careful on the road."

"Okay, see you tomorrow." Feng Cen made an "OK" gesture, then told the driver to drive off.

Mu Youyu pushed open the courtyard door and walked in; while changing her shoes, she noticed all the lights in the living room were on.

She was wondering why the nanny hadn't slept yet when she looked up and saw Mu Nian and Mu Xi sitting side by side on the sofa, which startled her.

The nanny knew her temperament, didn't tattle, but kept adjusting her expression to remind her.

Seeing her sister return, Mu Xi finally relaxed: "How come you stayed out so late? It's ten o'clock, and you didn't answer your phone."

Mu Youyu blinked twice, composedly replied: "Brother, I had evening self-study today."

"Evening self-study during winter break?" Mu Xi, upon hearing the school's arrangement, didn't believe it.

Mu Nian spoke in a calm tone, asking back: "Isn't your evening self-study supposed to end at 8:40?"

Mu Youyu made an excuse: "Then I had dinner and went to a classmate's house to do homework."

Mu Nian narrowed his eyes: "Male or female classmate?"

"Female."

"That still doesn't justify coming back so late." Mu Nian paused slightly, then softened considerably: "Next time, let her come to our place to do homework; our environment is good and quiet."

Mu Xi: "... Yeah, come to our house to do homework."

Mu Youyu obediently agreed, speaking gently: "Got it, brother; next time I'll have her come to our house."

Seeing her obey, Mu Nian's expression eased a bit; he rose and said warmly: "All right, precious, go upstairs to wash up and rest; don't stay up late."

"Got it, good night, brother!" Mu Youyu trotted up the stairs.

She closed the door, let out a sigh, took out her phone, and sent Feng Cen a message: "【I made it home safely; next time you come to my house to do homework.】"

The next morning, Mu Youyu had just changed her clothes and come downstairs when the Se Clan's car was already parked outside the courtyard gate.

The car window was half down, revealing a gorgeous face wearing sunglasses.

Liu Wanwan sat in the back, head lowered, playing with her phone.

Besides her, another head poked out—a female classmate who gets along well with Liu Wanwan in class, named Chen Xiyue.

Mu Youyu opened the car door and got in: "How come you two came together?"

Liu Wanwan didn't even look up: "Just bored, going out to hang out."

Feng Cen directed the driver to start the car.

Chen Xiyue waved: "Right, good morning, Elder Sister Mu."

"Morning." Mu Youyu turned sideways, suddenly noticing that Chen Xiyue's makeup today looked especially familiar.

She was also holding a palm-sized rabbit plush toy, soft and fluffy, wearing a tiny light-blue cape, with a red thin string tied around its ears, made very delicately.

Mu Youyu stared at the rabbit: "Do you like Lin Yushi?"

Upon hearing that, Chen Xiyue's eyes lit up: "Elder Sister Mu, you know about this too? I thought hardly anyone knew!"
