Chapter 161

~8 min read 1,464 words

"I certainly won't."

Before the word "touch" could even leave his lips, the man instantly transformed into a snow leopard.

Qiao Suisui was startled. She saw the leopard before her yawning lazily; its snow-white fur was dotted with tiny black spots, its large head was round, and its two ears twitched from time to time—it was simply a giant cat.

She couldn't help but reach out and pinch his ears.

The snow leopard narrowed his eyes, arching his head into her palm in enjoyment.

His tail was fluffy and soft, like a furry scarf, currently flicking back and forth on the floor, leisurely and languid.

Qiao Suisui had zero resistance; she couldn't help but say, "Ka'er, can I touch your fur?"

The next second, the snow leopard lay down on his side in response, exposing his milky-white belly.

He rested his thick paws on her shoulders; the chubby paw pads were wonderful to squeeze. Qiao Suisui couldn't put him down. She carefully touched his abdomen, exclaiming at how magical it was. Even though his muscles were firm and his physique was robust, the fur on his belly was exceptionally soft.

Ka'er licked her face with his tongue, his four paws pacing around her. Qiao Suisui could even hear his purring, rumbling breath.

The snow leopard rubbed his head against her chest, his whiskers tickling Qiao Suisui. She laughed, "Stop messing around, change back."

However, Ka'er pressed his two front paws onto her shoulders, pouncing on her and pinning her to the carpet.

He controlled his strength so as not to crush her, but he wouldn't let her get up either. The snow leopard rubbed his large head all over her, making Qiao Suisui incredibly ticklish; the corners of her eyes even welled up with involuntary tears from the sensation.

"Stop it, stop it, hahaha... Ka'er, hurry up and change back!"

She glared at him, forbidding him from teasing her any further.

Sure enough, the next second, the snow leopard vanished, and a stark-naked man lay on top of her.

Ka'er whispered in her ear with that damnably sexy voice, "This is what you asked me to change back for."

Qiao Suisui froze, her eyes widening abruptly. Once she realized what was happening, she immediately turned her face away. "You, go put some clothes on."

Ka'er chuckled, deliberately pressing two inches closer to her, his scorching chest covering her body through the water-green silk.

"No rush, there are still things left undone."

He turned Qiao Suisui's face, forcing her to look at him, and then kissed her gently.

Their nose tips brushed against each other, their breaths mingling, and then the man's lips continued to move downward.

The ties of her dress were undone by him at some point, the water-green silk bunched up in a mess on the carpet.

Ka'er burrowed into that green, his large hands bracing against the backs of her knees.

From this angle, she could see him, yet also couldn't see him.

The temperature inside the palace rose, becoming increasingly hot amidst their gasps.

Qiao Suisui's eyes were filled with mist; the dazed look within them and the crimson flush on her cheeks declared that this particular pleasure had plunged her into a blank state.

A surging tide leaked out uncontrollably, her toes curled, and her body trembled continuously.

Her entire skin was covered in a layer of pink, beautiful beyond belief.

Ka'er lifted his head from between her porcelain-white legs, crawled over using his arms to embrace her, and stroked her back, one stroke at a time, caressing the tremors she felt after her release.

Only when Qiao Suisui came back to her senses did she notice that his lips, jaw, and throat were covered in clearly visible moisture, and there was an even larger wet patch on his chest. She felt as if the roots of her ears were being burned off, red enough to drip blood.

She covered her face with both hands, but a low chuckle from the man reached her ears. He reached out and pulled her hands away; his long, slender fingers were also wet and sticky.

"Actually, my mouth isn't my most impressive part," the man hinted.

Qiao Suisui pretended not to understand, kicking his calves and urging him to go take a shower.

A look of obvious disappointment appeared on Ka'er's face. He hugged her waist, buried his head in her shoulder, and mumbled, "Then when will it be okay?"

Qiao Suisui's hand stroked her lower abdomen, then turned to rest on his lean waist, saying, "In a while."

Ka'er looked up and asked, "Why? Are you not feeling well?"

He was actually genuinely concerned about her health, but Qiao Suisui automatically associated it with *that* matter. She coughed unnaturally and didn't answer his question.

She planned to find an opportunity to tell Zongfang first, and then tell the others, so she just fobbed Ka'er off. Fortunately, unlike the other men, he was more laid-back about such things.

At the same time, Zongfang was looking at the snake hatchlings.

Sensing the approach of a powerful member of their own kind, the little snakes all hissed and swam over, except for the two-headed snake. It was currently coiled in a corner of the incubator, flicking its tongue, staring at Zongfang, and emitting a warning hiss.

Beastmen are born to recognize their mother; after all, having lived in their mother's womb for so long, they were familiar with and attached to Qiao Suisui's scent and smell, but they weren't as friendly to others. These little snakes only swam over to get close to him because they yielded to the powerful aura of the King Cobra, out of biological instinct to curry favor for survival. The two-headed snake, which was already much stronger than its other siblings, did not fear Zongfang's aura and dared to confront him.

The little snakes coiled around Zongfang's wrists and forearms. Logically, they should have grown quite a bit, but now each little snake looked very thin and frail, just a slender strip, their bean-sized black eyes looking very cute.

Zongfang ignored the two-headed snake and instead observed the little snake hatchlings coiled on his hands one by one. He had looked at every one of those photos countless times, so he easily recognized who each of his children was.

Just then, a servant's complaining voice came from the doorway: "Anyway, the Empire Sun doesn't care about these hatchlings, just feed them some bugs."

"Shh, keep your voice down. After all, they are Miss Qiao's children; we can't treat them differently."

"Miss Qiao is scared herself and hasn't come to see them many times. The little lions next door have already started to shapeshift; they'll be even more favored by Miss Qiao then. Who will remember these snakes?"

As the door was pushed open, the two servants only saw a silver-haired man standing in front of the incubator. His expression was cold as frost, and the pressure around him was so strong that the air seemed to freeze.

The servants were so frightened that the plastic bucket they were carrying dropped. The bucket rolled, and a large amount of wriggling bugs spilled out.

Zongfang looked at the bugs on the ground, his eyes icy.

"Get out."

The servants were still standing there, dazed, and the next second they were blasted out of the nursery by Zongfang's mental power.

Zongfang put the little snakes back into the incubator and then went to prepare a meal for the hatchlings. He mixed ostrich egg, wild rabbit, and fish meat shreds together and fed them to the little snake hatchlings. Clearly, these little guys hadn't eaten such a sumptuous meal since hatching, and they all scrambled to crowd around the bowl. One female little snake was even squeezed into the bowl by her brother.

Zongfang fished the all-white female little snake out of the bowl and wiped her clean with a soft cloth. The little white snake's red eyes were beautiful. She wasn't afraid of Zongfang; at this moment, she coiled her tail around his finger, as if acting spoiled.

Zongfang put her back by the bowl, but before the little white snake could get close, a slightly thicker male snake dived in and ate frantically, squeezing the little white snake away again.

Zongfang sighed helplessly, took out a small bowl, and separated some food so that the four female little snakes could eat alone on the other side. The four female little snakes ate daintily and unhurriedly.

*Sure enough, boys and girls shouldn't be raised together, * Zongfang thought to himself.

The little snakes were all enjoying the delicious food provided by their father; only the two-headed snake remained huddled in the corner, its vertical pupils cautiously watching Zongfang's every move.
