Chapter 18: Divine Kingdom

In the desolate starfield ten thousand light-years beyond Tianlei Star, within the borders of the Yanfeng Universe of the Human Domain.

There was no life here, only dead and barren stars and planets.

Buzz!

Accompanied by a ripple in space, a blood-red triangular spaceship suddenly appeared in this barren starfield of the universe; it was the 'Blood Red No. 3' assigned to Lu Qingshan by the Transport Department of the Virtual Universe Company.

Splash!

The hatch opened, and a middle-aged man clad in dark golden battle armor flew out from the spaceship; it was Lu Qingshan, returning to the Lei Guang Hai star domain from the Virtual Universe Company headquarters.

"Let's choose this place!" Lu Qingshan glanced at the surrounding environment and said slowly.

The reason he did not return to Tianlei Star immediately was naturally to find a suitable place to build his own Divine Kingdom.

A Divine Kingdom is nearly half the life of an Immortal Deity, possesses numerous special abilities, and is an excellent place for cultivating disciples and descendants.

Like the sacred lands of the royal families of the major star domains, most are the locations of their founders' own Divine Kingdoms.

To enter a Divine Kingdom from the Primordial Universe, besides going to the spatial coordinates where the Divine Kingdom is located, one must arrive via a transmission channel.

However, the coordinates of a Divine Kingdom relate to the safety of its master; under normal circumstances, they are never told to others, so most people wishing to enter a Divine Kingdom can only do so through a spatial channel.

Within spatial channels, there are two types: fixed channels and temporary channels.

Opening a temporary channel costs relatively little and can be opened anytime anywhere in the universe, but the farther the distance, the higher the cost;

whereas building a fixed Divine Kingdom channel requires not only a fixed channel coordinate but also an astonishing cost; even a short-distance spatial channel requires tens of thousands of Hunyuan units, and some distant ones require millions or even tens of millions of Hunyuan units to be successfully built.

Of course, if a fixed spatial channel can be built, over the long accumulation of years, the cost will be far less than that of temporary channels!

The reason Lu Qingshan chose to build his own Divine Kingdom in the Lei Guang Hai star domain was to consider the matter of building a spatial channel in the future.

"This place is relatively close to Tianlei Star, so the resources consumed when building a spatial channel in the future will be less!"

Lu Qingshan thought silently in his heart: "Moreover, the stars here have completely withered and died; normally no one should appear here, so it is considered relatively hidden!"

Thinking of this, Lu Qingshan quickly slashed sharply forward.

Tear!

The space ahead was torn apart directly by Lu Qingshan; then he took a step and had already entered the space interlayer.

In the eyes of most Immortal Deities, the space interlayer can be divided into thousands and ten thousands of layers.

The first layer is the space fragment layer; the second layer is the Divine Kingdom layer; the third layer is the space torrent layer...

Of course, in the eyes of true supreme experts, the space interlayer is actually one layer of boundless space.

It is just that the closer to the Primordial Universe, the smaller the space fragments; the farther from the Primordial Universe, the larger the space fragments become!

And the larger the space fragments, the greater the threat to experts!

The safest place within the space interlayer is where even World Lord-level experts can survive, but as one delves deeper, even a Universe Venerable might perish.

Whoosh!

Lu Qingshan's figure kept changing, and he quickly swept past the small space fragments on the outermost layer.

"This is the Divine Kingdom layer; generally, Immortal Deities place their own Divine Kingdoms here!"

Lu Qingshan looked at the surrounding space fragments which had become relatively large and thought silently in his heart: "With my current strength, delving further into the space torrent layer would easily lead to danger; it is better to place my Divine Kingdom here!"

"Once my strength improves in the future, I can simply move the Divine Kingdom deeper!"

For experts, the deeper the space interlayer, the more dangerous it is, after all, there are many giant space fragments there; if one collides with them, even if one does not die, one will be severely injured;

but for a Divine Kingdom, the deeper the space interlayer, the safer it is, because many experts like to fight within the space interlayer; if a Divine Kingdom is very close to the Primordial Universe, it might accidentally be caught in the crossfire.

However, this place belongs to the Human Domain, and the location is very remote; generally, no supreme experts will fight here!

"Let's take this piece!"

Lu Qingshan quickly selected a suitable space fragment in the Divine Kingdom layer.

This was a space fragment with a maximum diameter of 160,000 kilometers and a minimum diameter of 120,000 kilometers, enough for Lu Qingshan's current needs.

After all, the internal world of a typical World Lord peak expert is only tens of thousands of kilometers in diameter; although Lu Qingshan deeply understood the importance of the size of an internal world, his life gene level was very ordinary, and he had not encountered any special opportunities, so even though he had tried many methods to expand his internal world before, in the end, he only managed to expand his internal world to a diameter of 100,000 kilometers.

"Establish Divine Kingdom!"

With a thought, Lu Qingshan quickly approached the selected space fragment and then began to summon his internal world to descend.

Lu Qingshan's internal world quickly erupted with a formless energy, which then directly locked onto the huge space fragment he had selected.

Whoosh!

A huge world vaguely appeared in the surrounding space; this world seemed to exist in illusion, constantly flying toward that huge space fragment.

At the same time, the space fragment selected by Lu Qingshan was also constantly moving closer to that world.

One illusory, one real, gradually approaching each other.

Boom-Boom!!

The surrounding space trembled continuously; other space fragments all moved aside; the world that seemed to exist in illusion was now slowly merging with that huge space fragment, gradually becoming stable; a real world began to be born!

Moments later, the world that had originally seemed illusory had completely vanished; only that real world, perfectly merged with the space fragment, remained in the original spot.

This is the Divine Kingdom, Lu Qingshan's Divine Kingdom!

Whoosh!

With a thought, Lu Qingshan instantly stepped into the Divine Kingdom.

Within the vast Divine Kingdom, divine might rolled on majestically, and the edges of the Divine Kingdom were constantly expanding toward the outside world.

"Divine Temple! Rise!"

With a thought, the vast amount of Universe Crystals stored within Lu Qingshan's internal world immediately began to gather.

Soon, a towering Divine Temple gradually took shape!

This Divine Temple was permeated with a dense aura of the Thunder Origin Law; lightning snakes swarmed around it; as soon as it formed, it became the core of the entire Divine Kingdom.

"This is my Divine Kingdom!"

Lu Qingshan stood inside the great hall of the divine temple, closing his eyes to sense everything within the Kingdom of God.

At this moment, he was as if the entire Kingdom of God itself—everything within the Kingdom resided in a single heart!

Mountains, plains, grasslands, swamps, deserts, oases, lakes…

"With the Kingdom of God's blessing, my strength is probably more than ten times what it is outside!"

Lu Qingshan thought silently: "It's just a pity that the foundation of my Kingdom of God is still too weak. Compared to Luo Feng from the original work, let alone that—even compared to an ordinary Starry Sky Beast, it's far inferior!"

"Fortunately, all of this can still be made up for!"

"As long as I break through to True God in the future through the divine power path, once the Kingdom of God transforms into a small universe, it will naturally make up for the shortcomings in its current foundation!"

"Now that the Kingdom of God has been built, it's time to return to Thunder Star!"

Thinking of this, Lu Qingshan immediately left his Kingdom of God, then boarded the cosmic spaceship and entered the Dark Universe, flying toward the coordinates of Thunder Star.
