Chapter 402: July Summary
July Summary
July Summary
Actually, I originally wanted to play dead and not write a summary.
But I just happened to see a reader @mention me in the group, so I decided not to play dead after all.
Dear readers, as stated in early June, the guaranteed update for June was 240,000 characters.
The actual update was 45 chapters, totaling 225,000 characters.
This month counts as the first time I have failed to complete the guaranteed update.
As for the reasons, there are naturally many.
I originally thought traveling would be the main factor, but after checking the update log, I found that the last week and a bit of the month was when updates were the lowest.
How to put it?
Perhaps as the book reaches its later stages, I have become somewhat lax.
Also, the content I wanted to write hasn't come out; the protagonist's growth seems a bit simple in my eyes, so I've been somewhat stuck.
After all, I previously intended to write in detail about the Second-Order Universe Master.
However, relying on the protagonist's foundation and means, staying at the Second-Order level for too long would be abnormal.
Next, I will try to adjust my mindset as much as possible, then organize the content I want to write for the Universe Master stage, hoping to produce some novelty.
Additionally, do not think the protagonist has changed nothing in the plot.
After all, the protagonist's strength is not particularly strong right now, and he lacks the power to alter major plots, such as having humans establish dozens or even hundreds of Universe Kingdoms, but it will definitely be arranged once his strength reaches that level later.
Returning to the July updates, we are short by 15,000 characters from the guarantee, so I will make up 30,000 characters subsequently.
Adding the 130,000 characters owed from last month, that makes 160,000 characters.
July's monthly votes were 4,000, counting as 2,000 extra updates, bringing the total owed updates to 180,000 characters.
Based on my update speed, it will basically be very difficult to catch up before this book concludes.
But I am not the type to play dead; if I owe, I must admit it.
A reader once suggested I reduce the monthly guaranteed update, for example, to a guarantee of 4,000, making 120,000 per month, so updating for two months would clear the debt.
But everyone has always supported me and this book, so naturally I cannot do such self-deceiving things.
Next, regarding next month's guarantee, 250,000 characters, which is highly likely to be completed.
