Chapter 420: Fierce Battle: The Shocked Seeing Yan Di

Above a vast forest on Primal Star Number 06834.

At this moment, Lord Youhou Zhi Zhu was flying at top speed, clearly intending to rush to the top-tier treasure armor that was emerging and claim it for himself.

But just ahead and to the left of Lord Youhou Zhi Zhu, another figure—roughly ten thousand kilometers tall, clad in golden battle armor, and wielding a golden battle halberd—was closing in on him, fully capable of reaching the treasure's emergence site before Lord Youhou Zhi Zhu could!

This burly figure in golden armor was, naturally, Seeing Yan Di—the one who had defected from the human race and ultimately joined the Nine Domain Alliance.

"How did that damned Seeing Yan Di get here so fast!"

Gazing at the Seeing Yan Di who was about to meet him, a hint of wariness flashed across Lord Youhou Zhi Zhu's face.

He had to admit that back in the day, he had broken through to the Lord Realm a period of time before Seeing Yan Di did, yet his strength was far inferior to Seeing Yan Di's.

The most important reason for this was that Seeing Yan Di had encountered tremendous opportunities; he had already broken through the restrictions of the primal universe's operating rules back during the Zunzhe realm, raising his life gene level to nearly ten thousand times that of ordinary life in the universe. Moreover, immediately after breaking through to the Lord Realm, he had mastered several super treasures.

Even now, the treasures Lord Youhou Zhi Zhu possessed were far inferior to Seeing Yan Di's.

"After such a long time, I wonder whether this Seeing Yan Di has created the strongest secret technique of the Lord Realm!"

Lord Youhou Zhi Zhu thought to himself: "If this Seeing Yan Di has created the strongest secret technique of the Lord Realm, combined with his nearly ten-thousand-fold life gene level and his many super treasures, then I'm in trouble!"

One must understand that Seeing Yan Di had already nearly reached the limit of what a Lord Realm cultivator could achieve in terms of life gene level and treasures. Merely using the ultimate secret technique of the Lord Realm was enough for him to unleash peak third-tier strength; if he employed the strongest secret technique of the Lord Realm, that would be peak fourth-tier strength!

Now, after long ages of accumulation, Lord Youhou Zhi Zhu had only barely managed to attain third-tier strength. If Seeing Yan Di were at peak third tier, he could still tangle with him—at worst he'd be a bit disheveled;

But if Seeing Yan Di had already created the strongest secret technique of the Lord Realm and stepped into the peak fourth-tier level, then it would be very difficult for him to keep the other party entangled long enough for the other powerhouses of the human race to arrive!

"Lord Youhou!"

While flying rapidly forward, Seeing Yan Di furiously transmitted his voice to Lord Youhou Zhi Zhu: "You, of all people, dare compete with me for the treasure? You truly don't know your own limits!"

"Seeing Yan Di, you traitor—don't get too arrogant!"

Upon hearing Seeing Yan Di's arrogant transmission, Lord Youhou Zhi Zhu angrily transmitted back: "The other powerhouses of my human race will arrive very soon. When that happens, the one who'll be in trouble is you!"

"Hahaha!"

Hearing Lord Youhou Zhi Zhu's words, Seeing Yan Di laughed heartily without a care: "You think I fear the powerhouses of your human race?"

"Even if they manage to arrive, this treasure will have long since fallen into my hands!"

Of course, although Seeing Yan Di spoke this way, he still harbored a trace of wariness in his heart.

He truly didn't care much about the Lord Youhou Zhi Zhu before him, but after all, he had not yet created the strongest secret technique of the Lord Realm, and there were still quite a few Lords within the human race whose strength surpassed his own.

Once those Lords stronger than him arrived, it would become troublesome for him to seize the treasure.

Thinking of this, Seeing Yan Di said no more. He even abandoned the idea of teaching Lord Youhou Zhi Zhu a lesson, and instead flew straight toward the emergence site of that top-tier treasure armor.

"Damned it!"

Watching Seeing Yan Di draw ever closer to the treasure's emergence site, Lord Youhou Zhi Zhu immediately grew anxious: "Forget it—I'll strike first to intercept this Seeing Yan Di!"

One must understand that this Primal Star Number 06834 had originally been under his guard. After a top-tier treasure had finally appeared here, if it fell into someone else's hands—especially a traitor like Seeing Yan Di—he would be utterly miserable.

So, even knowing his strength was inferior to Seeing Yan Di's, Lord Youhou Zhi Zhu still struck first.

Whoosh!

The Lord Youhou Thorn behind Lord Youhou Zhi Zhu instantly appeared in his hand. Then, with merely a gentle thrust forward, a streak of dark light immediately shot rapidly toward the high-speed-flying Seeing Yan Di.

"Seeking death!"

Seeing Lord Youhou Zhi Zhu attack him, Seeing Yan Di was also enraged.

He lightly swung the Yan God Halberd in his hand, and a dazzling streak of golden light instantly blasted forth.

Boom-boom-boom!

The dark light and golden light collided midair, and an incomparably terrifying might instantly erupted in all directions.

When everything dissipated, the dark light had been completely annihilated, while the golden light Seeing Yan Di had unleashed still carried its remaining might as it rushed rapidly toward Lord Youhou Zhi Zhu's position.

Bang!

The golden light struck directly against Lord Youhou Zhi Zhu's Lord Youhou Thorn, then penetrated through the Lord Youhou Thorn to strike Lord Youhou Zhi Zhu's body.

After enduring this golden light attack, Lord Youhou Zhi Zhu's speed was somewhat affected, yet a trace of relief welled up in his heart.

"Although this bastard Seeing Yan Di's attack is somewhat stronger than mine, it still belongs to the peak third-tier level. It seems he hasn't comprehended the strongest secret technique of the Lord Realm either!"

Lord Youhou Zhi Zhu sighed inwardly: "Moreover, this Seeing Yan Di's strength has been stuck in place, while my strength has grown considerably compared to back then! Looking at it this way, the gap between me and this Seeing Yan Di has actually narrowed somewhat!"

At this thought, Lord Youhou Zhi Zhu immediately roared: "Seeing Yan Di, don't even dream of taking the treasure!"

Before his words had even faded, Lord Youhou Zhi Zhu thrust his Lord Youhou Thorn forward fiercely once more.

Having now gauged Seeing Yan Di's strength, he naturally would no longer be overly wary as before.

In the brief span of a moment, Lord Youhou Zhi Zhu had already attacked Seeing Yan Di dozens of times.

Although Seeing Yan Di was somewhat angered by Lord Youhou Zhi Zhu's attacks, he remained relatively rational, knowing that his most important objective was still to seize this emerging top-tier treasure armor first.

So even while being continuously attacked by Lord Youhou Zhi Zhu, Seeing Yan Di merely swung the Yan God Halberd to casually block, while his own body drew ever closer to the emergence site of that top-tier treasure armor.

"Damned it! This Seeing Yan Di is actually unaffected!"

Seeing Seeing Yan Di draw ever closer to the emerging treasure, Lord Youhou Zhi Zhu grew increasingly anxious.

Because he knew very well that once Seeing Yan Di obtained the treasure, even if the other Lords of the human race arrived, it would be very difficult to take it back from him.

After all, Seeing Yan Di's nearly ten-thousand-kilometer divine body, combined with his lavish array of treasures, meant that even if Hun Dun Chengzhu personally arrived, he would be unable to do anything to him.

And just at this moment…

Hum!

Boundless starlight instantly drowned the wastelands, skies, deserts, swamps… of this primal star.

Within this boundless starlight, many powerhouses also sensed an extremely powerful binding force—strong enough to pose a certain threat even to some beings at the Lord Realm level.

"It's the Aurora Domain! Xu Jin Zhi Zhu has arrived!"

Seeing the boundless starlight appear, a hint of joy instantly surfaced on Lord Youhou Zhi Zhu's face.

"Damned it! It's that bastard Xu Jin's Aurora Domain!"

Sensing the powerful binding force around him, Seeing Yan Di's brow also furrowed slightly.

Now, a long stretch of time had passed since he betrayed the human race, but he knew well in his heart that his strength still had some distance to go before it could match Xu Jin Zhi Zhu's.

But just as Seeing Yan Di, by controlling a patch of spacetime, detected Xu Jin Zhi Zhu's location, the heart that had been hanging in suspense settled down once more.

Because the vortex passage where Xu Jin Zhi Zhu appeared was a full billion-plus kilometers away from the place where the supreme treasure was emerging. In a special environment like the Primordial Star, even a Lord of the Universe could only fly slowly; Xu Jin Zhi Zhu fundamentally could not arrive in time to intercept him, and at most could only use a domain-type supreme treasure to limit his speed!

And the Xu Jin Zhi Zhu who had just revealed himself naturally also discovered this point, so he immediately sent a transmission to Lord Youhou: "Lord Youhou, now we can only rely on you to hold back that Seeing Yan Di; I'll use the Aurora Domain to assist you!"

"Good!" Lord Youhou immediately transmitted a reply, and then, aided by the Aurora Domain, once more attacked Seeing Yan Di.

"Foolish humans! Do you think this will be enough to hold me back?" Seeing Yan Di roared with utter contempt.

Immediately afterward…

The Yan God Halberd in Seeing Yan Di's hand swept out violently, and a streak of Jin Guang instantly split open the endless starlight ahead; then Seeing Yan Di continued to fly rapidly toward the place where the supreme treasure was emerging.

Xu Jin Zhi Zhu's Aurora Domain was a top-tier domain-type supreme treasure, and its might was naturally extremely astonishing.

However, Seeing Yan Di was clad in the Calamity Armor, which could weaken an attack's might to one-hundred-thousandth of its original, and in his hand he also wielded the Yan God Halberd, a supreme-grade among peak supreme treasures. So even while trapped within the Aurora Domain, he could still maintain his speed at sub-light velocity.

Seeing Seeing Yan Di resist the Aurora Domain's obstruction on one side and tank his attacks on the other without any drop in speed, Lord Youhou immediately sent a transmission to Xu Jin Zhi Zhu: "Xu Jin, what do we do now?"

"Don't panic!"

Xu Jin Zhi Zhu immediately transmitted a reply: "That Seeing Yan Di still has some distance to the supreme treasure; we still have a chance. Perhaps other powerhouses will arrive in time!"
