The sky held no Moon, nor was any snow falling.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>He could only feel a desolate chill that still permeated the air.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>’I wonder if the Dungeon itself is just like this,’\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>’or if it’s an effect of being stored during the cold months.’\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>’If this place isn’t affected by that, does it mean this is also a place beyond the reach of the Moon’s Authority?’\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>The group continued onward, heading toward the next Demon.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>WHOOSH!\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Suddenly, in the pitch-black sky, more than one eye opened.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Iz and Kumironi raised their hands simultaneously.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>WHOOSH!\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>An emerald light screen enveloped each of them.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Meanwhile, the Array on Iz’s Magic Wand lit up, and she unleashed an unknown form of Magic.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>All they could see were the eyes in the sky erupting in high-frequency vibrations.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>BZZZZZZZZZZ—\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>BANG!\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Chi Cheng leaped into the air!\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>However—\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>In the next instant, the eyes snapped shut!\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Chi Cheng’s slash swept through the spot where the eyes had just been, but he hit nothing but air.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>WHOOSH!\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Suddenly, the eyes opened again.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>This time, however, thousands of them appeared in all different locations.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>BANG!\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>A rapid-fire popping sound erupted from where Chi Cheng had just been.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>The next instant,\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>forty to fifty eyes that had appeared out of thin air exploded in succession around him.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>’That Speed... it’s incredible.’\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>’Even with my current reflexes, I couldn’t follow that burst of Speed.’\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>And yet...\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>after so many eyes had exploded, the remaining pairs closed once more and vanished from the sky.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Chi Cheng, it looks like there are some Demons even you can’t handle,\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Iz said with a smug smile.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Warriors only rely on brute force. They can never match the finesse of a Mage.\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Iz waved her Magic Wand.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>In the sky, countless bolts of Thunder gathered. The immense Thunder Power condensed into a roiling sea of lightning that looked like violet-silver plasma!\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Tier Six Thunder Magic: Tidal Thunder Sea.\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>BOOM!\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>The entire sky filled with silver-purple lightning, unleashing a deafening roar of thunder!\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>BANG!\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>BANG—\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Every eye that opened in the sky was baptized in Thunder and instantly shattered!\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>’Finesse?’\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>’Where’s the finesse?’\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>’All I’m seeing is brute force, Iz.’\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>’But this Magic doesn’t just contain Thunder Power. It also seems to incorporate the Rules of Space.’\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Lu Cang could tell that this Demon was somewhat like the Void.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>But not entirely.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>When threatened, it could hide completely within its own pocket of Space, but Iz’s Magic had forced it right out.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>And so, this Demon was dealt with by Iz.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Another Submerged Land Level acquisition.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>As they ventured deeper, they saw illusory figures of themselves...\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>’Is it time for that classic trope?’\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>’The fight against yourself?’\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>But...\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Lu Cang looked at the projections floating in mid-air.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>He had a feeling he could just absorb these souls directly.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Chi Cheng’s phantom charged!\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Wreathed in roiling Soul Light, it attacked using an Invincible Stream Form!\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Its Speed was incredible, though it was hard to say if it was as fast as the real Chi Cheng.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>All they knew was that at some point, Obades had already raised a hand.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>An invisible barrier materialized before his Stone Arm!\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>BOOM!\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>The Heavy Sword slammed into Obades’s barrier, but it didn’t budge an inch.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Lu Cang, meanwhile, simply reached out a hand.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Instantly, Chi Cheng’s phantom dissolved into countless souls that streamed toward Lu Cang.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>It was instantly killed by Soul Dominator.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Beyond that one, there were also phantoms of Lu Luwei, Lu Cang, Iz, and even Kumironi and Obades.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Lu Luwei’s phantom drew its bow at the sky, loosing an Arrow brimming with endless Soul Light...\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Just an imitation.\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Lu Cang raised his hand again, and the Arrow made of countless souls was completely absorbed into him.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Elsewhere, the phantom of Izparut gathered countless souls to form a spell!\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>\"Using souls to simulate Magic?\"\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Iz’s eyes lit up. It might just be an imitation, but it was a unique one.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>This adventure was turning out to be full of surprises!\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Iz exchanged a few moves with her own phantom.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp>Their magical duel was cataclysmic.
