Chapter 128: Ambush!
Liu Xiaotian's guess was correct; it was Xiezi who had come.
Most of the situation matched the "script"; the difference was that the group leader in this operation was not Chen Shanming, who hadn't come because of Liu Xiaotian's appearance, but Lin Yuan.
And the choice of deputy group leader made him feel even more surprised.
Because that person's name was—Liu Xiaotian! Since receiving the system's assistance, Liu Xiaotian went from being forced to complete the various tasks the system assigned, to gradually liking his current identity and developing a "strong heart," yet he never realized how much weight he carried in the eyes of the superiors.
In Wolf Fang, he always attributed the "special care" He Zhijun and Fan Tianlei showed him to the original "genius" owner of this body.
And at Warrior School, to be honest, he is not the most outstanding one.
In the past half month of physical training, he indeed came out on top in several of the training subjects, but Warrior School's physical training program actually has over twenty items.
But now? Whether intentional or not, the action team that walked into the ambush has basically no chance at all! He Chen Guang and the two others, upon hearing the commotion outside the cabin, were first startled, then immediately turned their gazes toward Liu Xiaotian.
In one, one look `no, one wrong version%!'
"Jiaweis, calculate the odds of victory!" Liu Xiaotian reacted purely on instinct, asking in his mind.
However, perhaps to increase the difficulty for this "transmigrator" + "system host," or perhaps the Xiezi in this world are more ruthless and capable than in the "script"; in any case, the developments far exceeded Liu Xiaotian's expectations.
Accounting for less than one-fifth of that, he is still far from the two words "strongest."
They seem to have grown accustomed to it, and when something happens, they first seek Liu Xiaotian's opinion.
These people are holding AK-103s in their hands; their firepower is quite strong, right?
Liu Xiaotian did not answer his question right away; instead, he loudly told everyone in the cabin in English: "Everyone leave the plane immediately! Chamber a round! Stay alert!"
Moreover, they didn't even give them a chance to reach the designated area.
It wasn't that they didn't want to find an open spot; they simply ran out of time—within close range, there was no place suitable for an emergency landing.
But it was still too late.
But what if he did nothing… what if Xiezi's arrangements were following the "plot"?
Moreover, their recoil is even smaller.
In the end he still decided to merely remind He Chen Guang, Wang Yanbing, and Li Erniu to pay attention and act according to the situation when the time came.
Then those obviously unconventional arrangements and deployments he made would be seen as having ulterior motives.
They were distributed in a circle and were rapidly approaching.
Along the way, as the deputy captain, Liu Xiaotian remained silent.
He Chen Guang gave him a sideways glance and ignored him.
Upon landing, he still took a hard fall, jolting the soldiers in the cabin into a dazed state.
Now he has just entered the interference zone and only has two options.
All along the way, Liu Xiaotian kept agonizing over this matter.
Liu Xiaotian's eyes darted quickly, and he lowered his voice to say to the three:
At this moment, Lin Yuan, who had already opened the cabin's emergency door, was the first to jump down.
Subsequently, the aircraft's electronic instruments began to be affected, and the plane exhibited unstable operation.
Of course, a successful emergency landing and a successful landing are worlds apart.
Liu Xiaotian, the moment he regained his composure, immediately unfastened his seatbelt, released the safety on the AK-103 in his hand, pulled the bolt to chamber a round.
Immediately, his vision displayed no fewer than seventy green humanoid light points.
Five minutes later, that transport helicopter successfully made an emergency landing in a patch of forest.
Rather than making an immediate emergency landing and completing it before the electronic system is completely disrupted by interference, it immediately turned back and returned.
Because he was pondering countermeasures. Immediately, Liu Xiaotian, who likewise discovered that the radio communication equipment was deemed cut off, realized they had been subjected to electronic interference.
However, now that so many things inconsistent with the "plot" have appeared, will this ambush by Xiezi still follow the "plot"? If so, that would of course be good—he could completely turn the tables and wipe out Xiezi in one fell swoop.
Immediately, a row of ellipses appeared on the screen before his eyes.
But what if it isn't?
According to the "plot," they would all be captured by Xiezi's ambush, and Lin Yuan would die in this operation.
"Don't resist at all later, believe me!"
It seems he also feels a bit reluctant to strike Liu Xiaotian.
In other words, they are surrounded!
But the enemy has already successfully interfered with the aircraft's electronic system; to completely shake it off is not as simple as turning back and flying a few hundred or thousand kilometers to automatically escape the interference signal.
"Sri, please forgive me, I must honestly tell you that, given your and your companions' strength, if you resist, you can at most kill half of the enemy before being wiped out yourself." Jiaweis said this with a somewhat human-like hesitation.
Seeing his action, He Chen Guang's face changed instantly: "Xiaotian! What are you doing……"
When they were about thirty kilometers from the intended destination, the transport helicopter's pilot first noticed that their radio signal had instantaneously disappeared.
But the fact is, that's exactly what happened.
"Sri, you're in trouble, the situation is very dangerous!"
The instant he finished saying that, Jiaweis' voice sounded in his mind:
At least, Lin Yuan, who has been appointed group leader, is now stronger than him.
It seems the M16 series isn't bad either.
"Hey, you say Xiaotian is just putting on a deep act over there, huh?"
Wang Yanbing, seeing this, whispered to He Chen Guang:
The people of Warrior School would absolutely not choose to believe him the way He Zhijun and Fan Tianlei did.
Most importantly, our side is uniformly equipped with AK-103s, while the enemy has at least three new-model rocket launchers!
In the absence of our own electronic equipment being connected, this interference will last a long time. And once the enemy fully interferes with or even controls and shuts down the electronic system, there won't even be a chance for an emergency landing.
But what greeted him was three or four pitch-black gun barrels.
Judging from the surface, it is indeed safer to turn back immediately.
Ten minutes later, more than twenty fully armed soldiers boarded the helicopter and headed for the destination.
Unfortunately, he currently has no relevant equipment in his hands, making a counterattack impossible.
Of course, the two also believed in the original Liu Xiaotian.
He Chen Guang and Cha Cai only suffered some minor flesh wounds, which wasn't a big deal, but Lin Yuan...
In a panic, the pilot made the best choice he could—an emergency landing.
Indeed, in a one-on-one or fair fight, not to mention three, even thirteen of this sort, Lin Yuan wouldn't care.
A successful emergency landing merely meant the aircraft hadn't crashed.
Liu Xiaotian was certainly not pretending to be deep; he was indeed deep.
At this point, the noisy sounds outside had already explained everything.
They, were surrounded...
Dear readers, I had originally written five chapters, but Xiezi felt this part wasn't satisfactory, so I'm not posting the next two chapters for now; I'll reconsider the plot.
Some say they don't like the constant dragging and want me to finish off Xiezi directly; I'm currently considering a good plot.
Don't rush; as for whether it can be done or not, please stay tuned... ^_^ (End of chapter)
