Chapter 38
Tony knew it wasn't Happy; he had lost; it was just for face, so he asked Ye Li, "What are you practicing?"
He wanted to learn... compared to these clever moves, the boxing he practiced before was nothing.
"Basic martial arts."
Ye Li replied to Tony, then asked the girls, "You saw the moves clearly, right?"
"Saw them clearly!"
Skye clapped her little hands, acting like a fan girl, "Li, you're so cool~"
"It looks quite powerful."
Felicia's slender hand clenched into a fist, gaining an understanding of this fighting technique.
Maybe if she practiced this well, she wouldn't be afraid of those boys at school who had no sense of propriety harassing her because of her appearance.
Cindy had expected the result, but she also praised him sweetly, "It's great~"
Tony saw the girls praising Ye Li one after another; how could he not know Ye Li was using him as a human punching bag.
So he wanted to learn even more, pestering Ye Li, "Teach me this fighting technique too; I can pay; you name the price."
"Ah————"
Ye Li yawned and said uninterestedly, "We'll see; I'll teach you when I have time; you know me."
Tony then remembered how lazy Ye Li was; he would drag on even a commissioned painting for a long time.
"Alright, just teach me a move or two when you have time; just consider it coming over to play." ### CHAPTER 96
"Then now, how about letting me pick a few paintings to take away."
Tony remembered his original purpose and scanned the art studio, picking out his favorite paintings.
"Whatever you want, just pay."
Ye Li didn't care, "I have to remind you, although the gallery is my workplace, there aren't many paintings; you should go to an art exhibition to pick."
Tony was noncommittal, "Just picking casually; I know your real good stuff is hidden in the North Building."
"As long as you know, don't go around talking and causing me trouble."
Ye Li took a low-alcohol drink from the refrigerator, "Drinking?"
"Of course."
Tony snapped his fingers while picking, "Give me a glass."
Ye Li raised his eyelids and placed the wine and glass on the table, "Pour it yourself."
"I'll do it."
Happy came up, poured a glass for Tony, handed it over, and poured one for himself, "Whoa, this is good."
"Indeed good."
Tony took the wine, but before drinking, he was talking about a painting Ye Li had hanging on the wall.
It was a painting of a sexy lady.
"She has also been here? Looking at the date, it's earlier than me; you're really something."
Tony recognized this as a cover star he had dated, but didn't sleep with because of the Afghanistan incident.
Ye Li drank his wine, "Don't misunderstand; unlike you, it's just a simple portrait."
Tony exposed him, "Come on, I'm just like you in terms of interests."
He put the painting back, because he knew Ye Li didn't sell paintings like this.
"I have three cute girls behind me."
Ye Li pulled away Skye's little hand that was pinching him, "Tony, you shouldn't be blind; it's better to say less."
"Alright, alright, I apologize."
Tony said, continuing to browse with his wine glass.
He suddenly saw something and became interested, "Let me see what I found?"
Tony picked up a small picture frame casually thrown in the corner, which had a golden-red armored figure on it.
"You like Iron Man?"
Tony shook the dust off his own portrait, "It's not very polite to throw it here like this, but it's painted well."
Ye Li said lightly, "Just painted it casually; his armor is not bad."
This one was just something he painted when he was interested; he didn't expect the subject himself to dig it out.
"I'll take this one!"
Tony handed the painting directly to Happy.
Then he pulled out Ye Li's bank account and waved his hand, transferring a large sum of numbers to him.
Ye Li didn't even look at the transfer notification, waving his hand, "Go well, not sending you off."
Tony's farewell words choked...
I haven't said I'm leaving yet.
"It seems you want to chat slowly with your little girlfriend, so I'll go first."
"Remember what I told you."
"Fighting techniques."
After Tony left,
Ye Li didn't continue to farm intimacy with Skye and the others as he thought.
Instead, he instructed them, "You guys practice here slowly; I have something to go out for."
Coming out to wander around and still not giving him the suit.
It seemed necessary to follow him and meet Tony again with another identity.
Tony returned home, wanting to give the painting to his assistant Pepper, but she was nowhere to be seen.
Beep—
The phone rang.
It was Pepper.
Before he could answer, his face suddenly turned pale, and purple veins protruded...
The veteran of Stark Industries—Obadiah Stane, walked out from behind Tony and put away the little gadget in his hand.
"I really wanted to show you my Iron Man suit, Tony, but unfortunately, there's no chance."
He sneered, taking the blue arc reactor from Tony's chest, "Too bad, you dragged Pepper into this too; I originally wanted to let her live."
"Heh, look at what this is."
Before Obadiah left, he saw the painting Tony had placed on the sofa, picked it up, and mocked, "Iron Man? What a ridiculous thing; can saving those refugees make money?"
Saying this,
He was about to casually tear the painting.
"Although I don't know what you mean by ridiculous, you'd better put that painting down."
A voice came from the shadows.
Ye Li, dressed as the Knight Spider, walked out, stepping unhurriedly in front of Obadiah.
"Black Spider!?"
Obadiah stiffened all over, remembering the reports from a while ago—
Tony was connected to him?
An unexpected guy...
Regardless of what Obadiah thought.
Ye Li just patted his shoulder, then took the painting and the arc reactor from his hands.
Obadiah didn't dare to resist.
He knew this Black Spider was different from other superheroes; he never went soft when killing.
Even Norman, the chairman of the Osborn Group, was casually crushed to death by him.
He swallowed, "Black Spider, maybe we can sit down and talk."
Ye Li ignored him, just looking at Tony.
"Tony Stark. ### CHAPTER 97
