Chapter 721

Just as the three of them—Ye Li and the two women—were in the midst of their ambiguous tug-of-war, they were about to enter the grand hall.

The honor guard at the entrance suddenly moved, turning in unison toward the three of them and performing the highest salute of the Nova civilization.

Even the armed guards, who were not required to salute, joined in, leaving the gathered envoys and guests astonished.

"Who are they? To actually receive the highest protocol of the Nova Empire!"

"Wait! That one is Ka-Rul (Carol's Kree name), the Kree Captain Marvel! Is Nova trying to curry favor with the Kree Empire?"

"Hasn't the Nova civilization been denouncing the Kree Empire's atrocities all this time? Why the sudden change?"

"What else could it be? They must have chickened out!"

"No! Who is that being held so intimately by Lady Ka-Rul?"

"And there's another girl by his side? How does he manage to make Captain Marvel willing to lower her status like this?"

"Wait, I think I saw him in an intelligence report..."

Just as the crowd was buzzing with discussion.

The high-ranking officials of the Nova civilization arrived one after another, led by the Nova Prime.

She actually took the lead, greeting the man with respect and politeness, "Your Excellency's presence truly makes Xandar feel honored."

Only after that did she tilt her head slightly to greet Captain Marvel, "Welcome to you as well, Lady Ka-Rul."

The entire hall was in an uproar at this sight!

What does this mean? It means that in the eyes of the Nova Prime, that man is far more important than Captain Marvel, and his status is noble!
