Chapter 704: Skye

"Her name is Jia Ying, an Inhuman. For these years, she has been living in the gathering place of the Inhumans, Afterlife."

"Inhumans are a superhuman race created by the alien Kree through experiments. As long as they are baptized by the Terrigen Mist, their bloodline will transform, awakening various super abilities."

"Your mother's ability is to absorb life force. Not long after she gave birth to you, she was captured by Daniel Whitehall of Hydra."

"And then... she was cruelly dissected."

"Her blood, organs, spinal cord, etc., were all transplanted into Daniel Whitehall, allowing him to regain his youth."

"And your mother's body was thrown into a ditch. Your father found her and used the lives of a village to resurrect her. When they went back to find you, you were already gone."

"They looked for you for many years. In the end, your mother returned to Afterlife to live, and your father..."

Skye's father, Calvin Zabo, was known as Mr. Hyde. He was originally a doctor. After his wife was murdered and his daughter lost, he was stimulated and developed a drug formula that could enhance strength, leading to mental problems.

He was irritable, cruel, and occasionally crazy.

The drug formula he developed was later improved by scientists working for Glenn Talbot (Graviton) and became part of the 'Patriot' program.
