Chapter 716

"Ding!"

"Combat detected, dropped reward: Energy Absorption (Havok)"

Looking at the glaring red circular ring flying toward him, Su Quan raised his eyebrows in surprise, grabbed it casually, and absorbed its energy.

In the movie, Sebastian Shaw could absorb this energy, and now Su Quan, who has stacked several abilities of the same essence, absorbed it even more easily.

It's just...

Su Quan looked at the stunned Alex Summers.

Originally, he thought his ability was releasing cosmic energy shockwaves. Now it seems that releasing shockwaves is just the superficial ability.

The essence of his ability is still energy absorption!

That's right, if you don't absorb energy, what do you use to release it?

There are many types of characteristics for the energy absorption ability.

For example, Sebastian Shaw, Starlight, Wanda, Farooq Gibran, and Killer Frost can actively absorb it.

Then there are Kryptonians, Captain Marvel, and the aforementioned Havok, who belong to passive absorption.

Moreover, the types of energy each person can absorb are different.

Havok can absorb cosmic energy such as radiation, electromagnetism, or heat from the environment.

Through his body, he converts it into energy shockwaves and launches them, while heating the surrounding air or converting the energy into plasma form.

His body is like a charger that is always plugged in, constantly and passively absorbing cosmic energy.

Just like under the illumination of a yellow sun, Kryptonians don't need to do anything to slowly become stronger.

However, the energy Havok absorbs cannot strengthen himself; once "full," it will stop, and only after he releases the energy will he continue to "charge."

"You, how did you do that?" Havok staggered toward Su Quan and asked in disbelief.

"Absorb your attack? For me, all it takes is a hand."

All, all it takes is a hand?

"Who is he? Is he also a mutant? Isn't he being too pretentious?"

The mutants in the activity room walked out, and Banshee, who had a relatively lively personality, couldn't help but mutter.

"Shh."

"Don't talk nonsense."

Mystique glared at Banshee warningly and whispered: "His name is Su Quan. He is also a mutant, but he's not in our team."

"I, I don't know exactly how many abilities he has, but it's definitely more than one."

"He is the strongest among us. You'd better not provoke him or offend him, otherwise, even Charles can't save you."

The strongest mutant with more than one ability?

Banshee and the others were frightened, and at the same time, they developed a strong curiosity about Su Quan.

"Your ability is considered pretty good among them, but your control is too poor. If you can't solve this problem, you will never be able to stand on your own."

Su Quan's palm aimed at Havok, and he sucked slightly.

In an instant, red energy surged out of his body and flowed toward Su Quan.

"Uh... uh..." Havok, unable to move, groaned in pain, his body twitching slightly.

Others saw this and thought Su Quan was hurting him, so they rushed over in shock, wanting to help.

Newborn calves aren't afraid of tigers!

Mystique and Hank McCoy subconsciously wanted to stop him, but they were a step too late.

Darwin's body turned into a rock structure, greatly enhancing his defensive ability.

Angel Salvadore spread her wings, flew into mid-air, and spat venom at Su Quan.

Banshee took a deep breath and shouted a piercing sound wave.

"Ding!"

"Combat detected, dropped reward: Wings (Angel Salvadore)"

"Ding!"

"Combat detected, dropped reward: Sound Wave (Banshee)"

There was also the dropped reward for absorbing Havok's energy.

"Ding!"

"Combat detected, dropped reward: Energy Conversion (Havok)"

Huh, this ability is a bit interesting.

Su Quan didn't take their attacks seriously at all, and the abilities they dropped were also relatively mediocre, not worth mentioning.

But the "Energy Conversion" dropped by Havok is a bit interesting. It can convert the absorbed energy through his body into a unified type of energy.

No, not just absorbed energy; it includes his own energy—like divine power, chaos energy, shadow energy, magic energy, etc. —all forms of energy can be converted.

For example, Su Quan can now convert all the energy he has absorbed or originally possessed into any one type.

That is to say, if he focuses on divine power, he can convert other energies into divine power, enhancing the power of divine power.

Or, convert everything into cosmic energy, and then use cosmic energy to achieve various goals!

The reason it's said to be "a bit interesting" is that the upper limit of Havok's energy conversion is too low, and the limitations are too great.

The type and intensity of energy, conversion rate, conversion speed, and the body's tolerance all have restrictions.

For Su Quan, although it can't be called mediocre, it's also difficult to bear more roles!

However, if he stacked the Watcher's energy conversion ability, he could turn decay into magic and soar directly.

Speaking of which, true god-level figures basically have a feeling of returning to simplicity in their abilities—they don't have many flashy abilities, yet they can achieve various effects.

One core ability can achieve omnipotent effects!

Su Quan now feels a bit "many and messy." The energy manipulation he brushed from the Watcher previously can be considered to have integrated the manipulation and release methods of many abilities.

Simply put, it's integrating the moves of various schools, no longer sticking to forms—that is, the way of releasing moves.

An ordinary sword strike might turn out to be a peerless technique!

And the energy conversion ability is equivalent to integrating various internal arts and internal strength, converting other types of internal strength into one, or converting all types of internal strength into a brand-new one that possesses their respective characteristics!

"My next goal is to brush the energy conversion ability from the Watcher!"

Don't look at Su Quan thinking a lot; in fact, only an instant passed.

Su Quan glanced at Banshee's sound waves and Angel Salvadore's venom.

In an instant, a gale roared.

The venom was blown away by the wind, and the sound waves were rolled away by the wind.

Immediately afterward, Banshee, Angel Salvadore, Darwin, as well as Mystique and Hank McCoy, who hadn't made a move, were all blown away by the gale.

Ding-ding sounds rang out. Mystique and Hank McCoy dropped a few points, and Darwin...

"Ding!"

"Combat detected, dropped reward: Survival of the Fittest (Darwin)"

"Huh?"

Another interesting ability.

To be precise, it's not that the "Survival of the Fittest" ability itself is interesting, but Su Quan discovered that he could use this ability to match other energies.

Survival of the fittest, right? It can allow his body to evolve into a physique more suitable for absorbing energy and converting energy.

Hardware upgrade, the efficiency of the software will naturally improve.

That is to say, the speed of absorbing energy and the effect of energy conversion can be greatly enhanced!

This is actually an ability that can amplify other abilities!
