Chapter 785

Fatty couldn't help but ask: "You, which side are you actually on?"

"I'm not on your side, nor am I on William Shi Cuike's side. I stand alone, only on my own side." Su Quan said with a smile: "I'm cooperating with William Shi Cuike because he has what I want."

Jin Ganglang took a deep breath and calmed down: "If Sabretooth isn't dead, he must have completely defected to Shi Cuike by now. That is to say... it's very likely he was the one who killed Wraith!"

Jin Ganglang guessed correctly; Wraith was indeed killed by Sabretooth. The reason Sabretooth killed Wraith was simple: it was to increase Deadpool's teleportation ability.

"Aren't you going to take me back? Let's do it now." Jin Ganglang gave up resisting.

Although he was reckless, he wasn't truly brainless. Since Su Quan had spoken to this extent, he could naturally distinguish between good and bad...

Uh, although Su Quan's actions toward him couldn't be called good, they didn't rise to the level of hatred either.

Su Quan hadn't killed Sabretooth, nor had he truly hunted down the mutant squad. Although he had helped William Shi Cuike deceive him into accepting the transformation, without Su Quan, there would still be a Liu Quan or a Zhang Quan. Since William Shi Cuike had set his sights on him, he absolutely wouldn't give up.

Moreover, Su Quan had also given him a chance for revenge!

If Su Quan intervened in his grudge with William Shi Cuike, that would be truly taking him back. Even if he was unwilling to admit it, he knew very clearly in his heart that Su Quan was far stronger than him!

If Su Quan didn't intervene, then it wouldn't be taking him back, but helping him.

Although he had escaped from the base before, floating in the vast ocean, he couldn't distinguish directions at all, let alone know the detailed location of the base.

He had found Gambit because he heard Gambit had once escaped from there, but before he could even mention this, Gambit had brought up Su Quan, and then he came to find Su Quan.

"Alright, after I finish eating, I'll take you back." Su Quan laughed, then looked at Fatty and Gambit: "What about you two?"

Gambit said without hesitation: "I'm not going."

His friendship with Jin Ganglang hadn't reached the point where he could risk his life, and his feelings toward Su Quan were simple, so naturally, he didn't want to get involved.

"I'm not going either."

Fatty had come partly to avenge Wraith, and partly out of concern for his own life.

Now that he knew Su Quan hadn't hunted the mutant squad, and that Wraith might have been killed by Sabretooth, he prepared to give up.

He couldn't beat Sabretooth, and Sabretooth was Jin Ganglang's brother; furthermore, Sabretooth had William Shi Cuike behind him, so what was the point of fighting? It was better to honestly find a place to live in seclusion and spend the rest of his life in peace.

As for Wraith's revenge?

Since he's dead, just rest in peace. With my current ability, I'm afraid there's no hope of avenging you.

Today, I shall sever ties with you. As for this grudge of killing a friend, please find someone more capable. Farewell!

PS: Before I knew it, the New Year arrived. Although I've been busy for the New Year, I haven't felt a bit of the festive atmosphere. Nowadays, the New Year feels less and less like it did when I was a child.

Finally, I wish everyone their heart's desires and good health! ===== CHAPTER 787 =====
