I thought it over, and felt it was because the rewards were too low. There was no point in going through the trouble of claiming them, so everyone just left them for Aba, letting Aba not bleed too much.

So this time the raffle will be changed — fewer winners, but the prize value goes up!

Rules: Cast a monthly ticket for this book during the period 25.04.01–25.04.30.

Besides that, this time I want to try out a special rule.

And because there are double monthly tickets on the 28th–30th of this month, many readers have been saving up, waiting to cast them later, wanting this book's results to be even better.

Because the raffle uses random numbers, it's very uncertain.

For example, drawing 100 winners out of 0–9999, it's entirely possible for them all to be clustered in 0–100 or 9900–9999.

Maybe from a mathematical probability standpoint, voting early or late makes no essential difference — the winning odds are the same.

But emotionally speaking, if you painstakingly save up your double monthly tickets and wait until the end of the month to vote, only to find all the winning numbers are at the front end, that really would feel unfair, and you'd think there's no point in saving up in the future.

But I also can't be too biased and make everyone who didn't notice the double-ticket event and voted early feel sad.

Aba may not understand math, but at least he understands everyone's plain, simple feelings.

The worry isn't having too little, but having it uneven.

So, after much thought, I finally came up with a rule that isn't scientific, but feels like it might work.

My current idea is to split the prizes in half, and run two separate draws split by the double monthly ticket cutoff — the 1st–27th draws half, the 28th–30th draws half.

(Because even during the double monthly ticket period, a double monthly ticket is still just one ticket number — it doesn't increase the winning multiplier.)

So, thinking about it this way, cast one ticket before the 28th and one after the 28th, and you get two chances to win.

(I'm saying this in the middle of the month — it shouldn't be too late, right?)

You can only buy them one at a time — they won't let you buy several at once…

16.8 yuan each (including shipping). Even though they're all going to the same address, they sent ten separate packages, which means I paid shipping ten times…

Paying the shipping fee alone would still be fine, but the key is that each time you have to go through the whole payment process again — it's way too tedious, I really can't take it anymore.
