Chapter 218: Anime Crossover: Pokémon - Starting from Hunter x Hunter Chapter 116

The two exchanged a glance, then simultaneously stumbled backward, retreating several steps before the effect finally vanished.

Clearly, they had just stepped into some kind of domain.

Jin Yi said nothing, quickly pulled two crystal-clear water spheres from his pouch, drank one himself, and handed the other to Luo Ge.

【Water Collection Sphere】: A water sphere about half a fist in size, formed by being enclosed within a transparent film.

Consuming just one provides an adult with all the water needed for an entire day.

It is especially suitable for replenishing the body's moisture when fresh water is insufficient.

It also contains other nutrients and can save lives in critical moments.

This was obtained from a special type of fish in 【Carter Port】.

The locals call it the Water Sphere Fish.

Because this fish has a very strange appearance, it has almost no flesh on its body; instead, its body is formed entirely of individual Water Collection Spheres.

Only the internal organs and a few other body structures are hidden deep within.

Since the exterior consists entirely of transparent water spheres, people can easily see the internal organs through the spheres.

Apparently, due to the Water Sphere Fish's unique body, it can secrete a peculiar film that compresses and purifies water.

Originally salty and briny seawater, after purification, becomes clusters of water spheres indistinguishable from fresh water.

Unfortunately, this fish is extremely rare and exists only in the deep sea, so every single water sphere commands a high price.

For the vast majority of people, the money to buy one Water Collection Sphere is enough to purchase several times the amount of water that far exceeds the sphere's effect.

Only a few people buy them.

Besides wealthy people buying out of curiosity, there is only one other category of buyers.

Those who aim for the Dark Continent!

Not everyone possesses a Spatial-type Nen ability, so the Water Collection Sphere's effect of concentrating fresh water highlights its utility.

After Jin Yi drank quickly, he was like a withered tree meeting spring; moisture filled his body once more, and his skin condition improved accordingly.

"I almost died of thirst."

"Want one too?"

"No need, I have a better solution."

Luo Ge refused.

A freshly made 【Flying Cloud Ice Cream】, still emitting wisps of cold air, appeared in his hand.

As Luo Ge tasted the sweet, delicious, cool, and refreshing ice cream, the abnormal status on his body vanished along with it.

Jin Yi looked at the ice cream in Luo Ge's hand, which looked delicious at first glance, then looked at the plain water sphere in his own hand.

An indescribable sense of frustration surged in his heart.

Why does the other guy get to eat ice cream, while he can only eat a compressed "packaged" water ball?

2.1 "Geng-gui, geng-gui."

Gengar, looking very composed, patted Jin Yi's shoulder, his expression as if comforting him.

Jin Yi was completely confused.

"What is your Nen beast saying?"

"Nothing, he is just comforting you, telling you to get used to it."

Jin Yi:...

After both returned to normal, they once again turned their gaze forward.

On the surface, it was just an ordinary stretch of road, but the two, having just experienced its power, understood it was not that simple.

Jin Yi scratched his head.

"Being able to forcibly drain moisture from within a living creature is truly troublesome; we can't possibly drink water while losing it at the same time, can we?"

"It seems that as long as one steps in, the effect will inevitably take hold."

"At this rate of loss, the number of 【Water Collection Spheres】 I stored won't be enough."

"However, there is something I can try."

Jin Yi volunteered.

He reached into his pouch, and a canteen-shaped item appeared in his hand.

Luo Ge's eyes narrowed, and he directly named the object: "Spring Water Pot?"

What Jin Yi held was indeed the Spring Water Pot, one of the cards in Greed Island.

【A-17】 Spring Water Pot:

A pot that frequently gushes clear spring water, producing 1440 liters of water per day.

Jin Yi knew Luo Ge had read through the card book, so it was no surprise he could recognize it.

"How about it? Let's use this to explore inside."

"Do you have a better method?"

Jin Yi asked subconsciously.

For some reason, perhaps due to their time together recently, he felt Luo Ge could always come up with a better solution.

"Well..."

"There are actually several solutions."

"However, we must first figure out what type of effect causes this moisture loss before we can treat the root cause."

Saying this,

Luo Ge produced an 【Oran Berry】 in his hand and let Gengar hold it and float into the area just now.

The Oran Berry, the instant it entered a certain place, developed wrinkles on its skin, and after a few breaths, it became withered.
