Chapter 681: Hit Ten-Thousand Subscriptions~
Ten-thousand subscriptions~
Finally hit ten-thousand subscriptions~
New author, slow-burn, no system, four-character book title, trial run one round trip, first subscription four hundred, wrote for a year, over two million characters, finally ground my way up to ten-thousand subscriptions~
Even though it's tiring, I'm still really happy.
First of all, I have to thank my editor Good Luck (Hao Yun)~
Back then I submitted internally several times without getting through, and I was almost ready to give up, thinking of switching to a different theme and opening to write.
But I was still a little unwilling, so in the end I figured I'd try one more time, mooch a bit of luck, and submitted to Good Luck — and sure enough my luck was really pretty good, Good Luck approved the manuscript. (??.??)
Otherwise, the thing I'd be writing now would probably be a completely different story.
Once I switched to a different theme, whether I could still follow my own ideas afterward and write out this book, these stories, and the characters I love in it — that really would be hard to say……
Next, I have to thank all you lovely readers~
Slow-burn story, new author, lacking experience — looking back now, the earlier parts of the plot really were handled somewhat clumsily, I could have written them better……
But even so, everyone was very forgiving and read all the way through.
Thank you~
I bow to everyone~(??.??)
I also have to thank all the Alliance Chiefs (sorted by tip time):
I Ming Ming Ming A, Guoke Liuwang, Rain Tomb, Mu Bai Jin Yu, Wind's Qiao Le Li, Grand Supreme Daluo Celestial Immortal Wanshou Emperor, Yiqi Xiuxian, Xuan Chou.
Thank you to all the big shots for their Alliance Chief tips — let me know that there really are big shots who'd tip me an Alliance Chief~(??.??)
And another thanks to the Operations Officer:
Heavenly Mechanism Stupid Cat~
Not much more to say about Stupid Cat.
Thanks done. There are also a few settings I'll supplement while I'm at it.
One is the protagonist's age issue.
There are always people commenting that a teenager in the real world should be this way and that, the protagonist should be this way and that……
From start to finish, people have been saying it.
But this is a xianxia world, not the real world……
In this worldview, as the cultivation world developed, mortals without spiritual roots were gradually weeded out, and the once-higher-tier Qi Refining loose cultivators automatically filled in to become the very bottom of society.
Today's cultivators basically all have spiritual roots.
In this sense, the protagonist is already a "long-lived species," so if you analogize his age to reality, you have to scale it down proportionally.
(Some loose cultivators of the same age are taller and bigger than the protagonist because most loose cultivators lack resources and have no way into the Dao, so they started body-tempering early and went to do manual labor to support their families.)
The second is the transmigration setting.
It's a bit complicated to explain.
Simply put, you can understand the protagonist as a "native," with biological parents, blood-connected, who just awakened a tiny bit of memory from a past life.
Finally, about the extra chapters.
I've been a bit tired these past few days, can't write anymore, I'll start the extra chapters to pay off the debt on the 26th~
One more bow~
(??.??)
End of Chapter
