Chapter 115: Ye Nan's Conspiracy

Spider-Man Peter was a member of the Avengers, and the initiator of the Avengers was S. H. I. E. L. D.

S. H. I. E. L. D. and the military had both become Ye Nan's enemies; this was beyond doubt. Unless S. H. I. E. L. D. or the military bowed to Ye Nan and admitted their mistakes, there would inevitably be a war between them.

Captain America, Spider-Man, Iron Man, the Hulk, and other superheroes in the Avengers were all terrifying existences. Facing these people, even someone as bold as Ye Nan couldn't help but feel a bit terrified.

Not to mention the agents of S. H. I. E. L. D. Perhaps the combat power of these agents was low, but Ye Nan dared not underestimate them, because they were omnipresent, and their danger was no less than that of the superheroes in the open.

Fighting against such people, Ye Nan really didn't have the certainty of victory. Although he had joined forces with Tianwang and his own ICQ company was expanding rapidly, compared to S. H. I. E. L. D., it was still more than a notch behind.

And the reason he was so relaxed was entirely because S. H. I. E. L. D. and the military were currently mired in trouble. It wasn't easy for them to get out, and even if they did, they would need enough time to restore the public's trust in them.

Of course, S. H. I. E. L. D. itself was not without opponents. Forces from other countries, especially the Soviet Union—don't look at the fact that the Soviet Union had already disintegrated, but it had been able to confront the United States for so long, and in the battle with S. H. I. E. L. D., it hadn't been defeated either. Its strength was also unfathomable; at least for now, it hadn't fully surfaced.

Other superheroes had their own enemies: Spider-Man's enemy Green Goblin Norman, alien creatures; Iron Man's enemy Stark, etc., all belonged to the enemies of superheroes, and among them, there were many who could be drawn over to his side.

"But if I only draw over enemies, wouldn't I become a villain?" Ye Nan thought to himself. Although he was ruthless, he didn't want to play the role of a villain himself. Every villain had their own inner paranoia and would inevitably bear a bad reputation. Ye Nan didn't want to cooperate with these people and end up blackening his own name.

For him, these villain bosses should be utilized. Of course, his true targets were these superheroes themselves.

Since S. H. I. E. L. D. claimed to be America's umbrella, Ye Nan would draw over these superheroes to oppose S. H. I. E. L. D. He wanted to first define this so-called umbrella as a terrorist organization or fascism and splash all the dirty water onto the military and S. H. I. E. L. D.

And Spider-Man was his first target to draw over and utilize. Spider-Man already had a good relationship with him, and coupled with the fact that S. H. I. E. L. D.'s reputation had been rotten for some time, he had now used Arnold to stage a play. He believed that Spider-Man's hostility toward S. H. I. E. L. D. was only a matter of time.

"S. H. I. E. L. D., oh S. H. I. E. L. D., if you had just stayed in the military, that would be one thing, but you reached out your hands wanting to take away my ICQ company, so don't blame me for being ruthless to you. Anyway, you are an agency that should have been disbanded in the first place; it's no big deal if you are destroyed."

While Ye Nan was hiding on the side, a new change appeared on the scene. After Spider-Man clearly rejected Arnold's recruitment, Arnold immediately turned hostile and used the particle cannon to strike Spider-Man Peter fiercely.

Spider-Man Peter lay on the ground, vomiting blood in large mouthfuls.

"Anyone who does not join my S. H. I. E. L. D. should be destroyed," Arnold murmured, walking toward Peter with large strides.

"You are too overbearing, you are too overbearing." Peter's body trembled. He originally didn't want to have a conflict with S. H. I. E. L. D., but since S. H. I. E. L. D. had attacked him, he had nothing more to say.

"Fight! Since you want to kill me, I will kill you." Peter aimed his hands at Arnold, and the spider silk in his hands shot out continuously, wrapping Arnold up completely in the blink of an eye...

"Unknown material discovered, recording..."

Although Peter was cowardly, that was only because he lacked strength. Once he had strength, cowardice would be insulated from him. He might be kind, but once his own life was threatened, he would still strike without mercy.

Just like now, S. H. I. E. L. D. wanted to kill him, so he would finish off Arnold first.

Arnold's reaction was very fast. The moment he was wrapped, he used mechanical transformation, wanting to form a sharp blade. But unfortunately, the stickiness of Spider-Man's spider silk was too heavy, and he couldn't transform or assemble freely at all. Instead, because of the transformation, his whole body was wrapped up, unable to move.

"Hey, big guy, looks like you're done for." Peter leaned in and punched Arnold on the neck, making a bang sound.

"Damn it, forgot you're a robot." Peter shook his hand; the recoil just now made his fingers feel slightly painful.

"But being a robot doesn't mean I can't do anything to you. As long as there is enough current, it's enough to penetrate your metal and burn your chip."

Peter looked at Arnold fiercely, wanting to threaten him, but when he saw the expressionless Arnold, he finally gave up.

"Forget it, what's the point of talking to a big block like you? You're just a robot."

"Who are you?" Ye Nan walked out fearfully, looking at Peter, acting as if he didn't recognize him at all.

"I am..." Seeing Ye Nan come out, Peter originally wanted to say he was Peter, but thinking that he was currently wearing the Spider-Man suit and Ye Nan didn't recognize him, he immediately shut his mouth.

"I am Spider-Man," Peter said nervously.

"Spider-Man? Never heard of him." Ye Nan frowned slightly, then relaxed. "This robot was originally research data for our ICQ company, but ever since it was taken away by S. H. I. E. L. D., it became theirs. I apologize to you here for the trouble he caused you."

"But please allow me to take this robot away. After all, he is the research achievement of our ICQ company, even though he was snatched away by someone else."

"Of course, but do you need my help?" Peter said generously. He knew this was originally Ye Nan's thing, so naturally, it should be returned to its owner. However, after hearing Ye Nan's words, his disgust for S. H. I. E. L. D. deepened.

He was originally a researcher himself, although still a student, but he knew that a research achievement was the result of who knows how many people's hard work. To have it snatched away like that, that person must be in extreme pain. So he considered himself to understand Ye Nan's thoughts.

"That won't be necessary." Ye Nan shook his head and inserted a chip into Arnold's body. Arnold immediately stopped struggling, acting like a good boy.

"Sigh, the research achievement of our ICQ company, in the end, doesn't belong to our ICQ. All the data has been destroyed. I hope to find some useful data from this robot and hope to restore our research achievement." Ye Nan sighed feignedly and took Arnold further and further away.

"S. H. I. E. L. D. is truly hateful, not only snatching people's achievements but also destroying data." Peter punched the ground, determined to clean up S. H. I. E. L. D. and rid the people of a scourge. "But why was he here? Was he just passing by?" ===== CHAPTER 116 =====
