Chapter 415: High-End Power Emerges

A meteor streaked across the sky and landed on the ground, revealing the person inside.

Ye Nan grabbed the Hulk with one hand and his daughter, Ripley, with the other, while Ripley was holding a unicorn.

"Death, come out. I've already dragged my family here," Ye Nan shouted loudly after standing steady.

"I'm here." Death was still dressed as a police officer, a look that seemed eternal. "The Large Hadron Collider is ready. We can shuttle to another universe at any time."

As he spoke, Death led Ye Nan inside. After several twists and turns, they finally arrived in front of a secret chamber. "I don't know how much effort I spent to get this Hadron Collider."

"What are the incantations on it?" Ye Nan's gaze fell upon the incantations on the acceleration pipe of the Large Hadron Collider.

"The incantations are to keep the Rubik's Cube matter stable during accelerated collisions," Death replied casually. "When the Rubik's Cube matter accelerates, it generates immense energy, which can cause the acceleration pipe to shatter. These incantations ensure the pipe can withstand the acceleration of the Rubik's Cube matter without collapsing."

Just as an airplane needs to taxi before takeoff, the Rubik's Cube matter needed to accelerate before colliding, and the tool for this acceleration was the pipe in front of them.

"Wait, are you sure it's a collision of Rubik's Cube matter that tears open the cosmic barrier? Not a proton collision?" Ye Nan stopped Death, his expression strange.

He remembered that human scientists used protons in collision experiments, not some Rubik's Cube matter.

"Of course it's Rubik's Cube matter. You don't know, but Rubik's Cube matter comes from dark matter. When the two collide, they generate massive energy, and this energy can instantly blast open the cosmic barrier and open the door to other universes," Death explained. "In reality, the energy generated by proton collisions is simply insufficient. That's why I used Rubik's Cube matter as a substitute, and I can guarantee it will definitely succeed."

"Have you experimented with it?" For some reason, Ye Nan felt Death was a bit too impatient. "Why don't we test it again?"

"No." Death refused flatly. "There isn't much Rubik's Cube matter to begin with; it's not enough to continue experimenting."

"Fine." Since Death was so resolute, Ye Nan had no intention of refusing, because he knew that even if he kept talking, the result wouldn't change; Death had already made up his mind.

Seeming to realize he had been a bit impatient, Death smiled awkwardly. "It's mainly because the pressure the Evil God puts on me is too great. I really don't want to sit on a volcano anymore."

Ye Nan nodded upon hearing this, accepting the explanation.

"Come." Seeing Ye Nan accept it, Death stopped dwelling on that topic. He pulled Ye Nan to the other end of the pipe and said, "This thing is the coordinate acquirer. You can use it to set the coordinates."

Ye Nan looked over upon hearing this. He saw a helmet-like object hanging on a chair; it looked just like something out of a virtual game in a novel.

"Don't underestimate it. It is the highest achievement of the ancient wizards of Earth. Through it, the coordinates in your mind will manifest, and then be transmitted to the Magic Spirit, which will control the Hadron Collider to open the door to the dimensional universe."

Ye Nan immediately circled the helmet. In his eyes, this helmet was a crystallization of pure witchcraft, as it was densely covered with incantations. Deep inside the helmet, there was a small, eye-like red light, which looked like the Magic Spirit Death spoke of.

"I didn't expect you to be proficient in witchcraft as well." Ye Nan looked at Death suspiciously, then lightly brushed the topic aside. "What do you want me to do?"

"Just sit on it and put on the helmet," Death said, pointing to the chair.

Ye Nan heard this, and without doubting it, he sat down directly and then put on the helmet. Almost instantly, countless images flashed through his mind; images of three universes kept rotating, and the people and things within them emerged one by one.

"Please select the coordinates," a voice full of temptation echoed in Ye Nan's mind.

Ye Nan first ruled out the Earth with Superman, then hesitated between the other two Earths—one was the Earth with many friends and family, and the other was the Earth he could call home. He was indecisive.

He understood that these two Earths represented two universes, and also represented the places he was about to go. Once he chose, there would be no turning back.

"Please select the coordinates." Seeing Ye Nan hesitating, the voice suddenly became anxious.

"Although I once wanted to go back very much, when it actually came time to choose, I hesitated." Ye Nan laughed at himself. "Forget it, let's just treat the past as a dream."

Ye Nan chose the Earth—the Earth with his many friends and family. He missed the Earth of his birth, but he couldn't bear to part with his friends and family, so he was destined to treat going back as a wish, an eternal wish.

"I choose this Earth." Ye Nan reached out and tapped on the screen showing Simila. He immediately let out a miserable scream and began to howl while clutching his head.

Seeing Ye Nan suddenly screaming, Ripley immediately ran over.

"Don't." Seeing this, Death hurriedly said, "If you want him to die, then go ahead."

As soon as Death's words were out, Ripley stopped in her tracks, looking at Death with a face full of anger.

"It's just the Magic Spirit extracting the coordinates from his mind, no need to worry." Death didn't care at all that someone was staring at him in anger; his entire focus was on Ye Nan.

"Yes, that's right." Ye Nan suddenly took off the helmet and looked at Ripley with a loving expression. "Don't worry, it was just the Magic Spirit extracting the coordinates."

Ye Nan's voice was somewhat weak. Being extracted of coordinates just now was truly painful—it felt like thousands of needles and thorns piercing his brain. That kind of pain was enough to drive a person mad, and he couldn't even cut off his own pain nerves; he had to endure it raw. Fortunately, his mental fortitude was strong enough, otherwise, even the toughest tough guy would have suffered a mental breakdown under such pain.

"As long as Dad is okay." Ripley threw herself into Ye Nan's arms.

"Of course I'm okay. How could Dad be anything but okay?" Ye Nan stroked Ripley's cheek and smiled gently. "Dad is the strongest."

"Mm." Ripley nodded vigorously but refused to get up from Ye Nan's arms.

While Ye Nan and Ripley were talking, Death had already started the Hadron Collider. The two types of matter from the dark side of the universe began to accelerate and collide under various energies.

Boom!

A silent explosion echoed in everyone's heart. This was a direct confrontation with a collapse on the spiritual level, absorbing everyone's soul into it.

Two different dimensional universes were blasted open by the massive energy, creating a channel. It was as if a person from a three-dimensional universe launched an attack on a two-dimensional universe; on the surface, it seemed impossible, but in reality, it was possible. The potential consequence was dimensional collapse, which is a black hole.

"In this dimensional universe, it manifests as a black hole, while in the other dimensional universe, it manifests as a white hole. This is the truth of the channel. So, who are you?" Ye Nan looked at Death and said.

"Who am I? I am Death." Death didn't understand what Ye Nan meant by this.

"Don't put on an act. Witchcraft and technology are not the hobbies of a Death like you, and you couldn't possibly possess such advanced technology. So, where does your technology come from?" Ye Nan said calmly.

"And your incantations are not used to prevent the acceleration channel from collapsing, but to suppress this black hole."

Once a black hole appeared, it would inevitably devour everything. But currently, this black hole didn't exhibit this characteristic. The only explanation was that some mysterious energy was suppressing it. Besides the incantations, there was nothing else around the black hole. Furthermore, given the materials of the acceleration channel, it wouldn't collapse during matter acceleration. These incantations were simply redundant. Combining these two conjectures, Ye Nan concluded that these incantations were used to suppress the black hole.

"Well said. Continue." Death raised his hand, signaling Ye Nan to go on.

"I originally guessed you were a puppet of Slaanesh or Tzeentch, because only they, having devoured technological civilizations like the Star Spirits or Necrons and being skilled in incantations themselves, could perfectly combine technology and witchcraft."

"But then I thought about it and felt it wasn't right."

"What wasn't right?" Death was intrigued by Ye Nan.

"It's very simple. They don't have the need." Ye Nan spread his hands and said helplessly, "Although I don't want to admit it, I have to."

"My strength in front of them is just trash. If they had this ability, they could have captured me long ago and forcibly extracted the coordinates to open the channel between the two dimensional universes. But they didn't. Not only did they not, but they played schemes and plots in the dark, and even had a big fight over it."

"So I was wondering, what exactly is their conspiracy, and what is your goal?"

"All along, you've said you were afraid of the Evil God, and that you wanted to leave the dimensional universe because of that fear. But I feel you aren't like that, because you didn't show much fear in front of the Evil God."

"The most important point is that I asked Thor, the God of Thunder, how powerful the Chaos Evil God's power was during the Twilight of the Gods."

Ye Nan stared tightly into Death's eyes and said, "The four Chaos Evil Gods didn't take action at all. They never once fought the gods of this world head-on."

Since they never fought head-on, the so-called fear was out of the question. Therefore, Death was lying.

"To think such a slip-up would occur. I really didn't expect it." Death shook his head, his face full of regret.

"Then tell me, who exactly are you?" Ye Nan looked at Death, not knowing why he felt a sense of tension. He hadn't felt nervous in front of the Evil God, but in front of Death, he felt it.

He understood that this didn't mean Death was stronger than the Evil God, but because he understood the Evil God, yet didn't understand Death. Tension stems from the unknown.

"I don't know who I am either." Death smiled and said, "I said, from the moment I was born, I didn't know who I was. I have no name, no parents, nothing at all. I am like someone born in the void, living in this world without a purpose."

"But one day, I received his calling to find the power that could save him."

"Who is he? Why is he trapped?" Ye Nan asked again. He had a feeling in his heart telling him that the 'he' Death spoke of was exactly the same 'he' he was thinking of, but he still needed to confirm it.

"He is a powerful existence that transcends all dimensions, on the same level as those who created the Chaos Evil Gods." Death's expression was extremely pious, like a priest talking about God, with a sense of solemnity.

"He was sealed during the battle against them, so I must save him." Speaking of saving, Death's face was serious. "You are his pawn, the most special and the most important one."

"In other words, you were sent by him." Ye Nan finally confirmed that the 'he' Death spoke of was the existence sealed within the Heart of the Galaxy. But this realization alone caused a monstrous wave in his heart.

An existence transcending all dimensional universes, transcending all time and space—he finally had a clear definition of him. Yet such an existence was actually sealed, and waiting for him to save him. It simply exceeded Ye Nan's imagination.

"Don't think that transcending all dimensional universes makes one invincible." Death suddenly spoke. "I once heard that what they pursue is the realm of 'neither thought nor non-thought.' That realm is simply impossible to describe in words."

"'Neither thought nor non-thought'!" Ye Nan chewed on the phrase and found he had never heard it before.

"There's no point in talking to you about it. In fact, that realm—let alone you or me, even he hasn't touched the edge of it." Death said. "Alright, let's go together. His power will help you resist the power from the black hole."

"Thank you all, I'm leaving." Ye Nan suddenly said to the door outside. He didn't know when, but the door was already filled with superheroes. "I have already left the Smart Brain to help you. I hope you can resist the invasion of Chaos power."

The Smart Brain was left here anyway, so he could be considered to be making use of waste. Moreover, he could let these superheroes help him, and even deal a blow to the Chaos Evil God, delaying their pace. It could be considered killing three birds with one stone.

"I didn't expect you to have arranged everything so early." Seeing so many superheroes, Death was also shocked.

"If I hadn't made preparations, how would I dare to come?" Ye Nan smiled proudly. "But it's unnecessary now."
