Chapter 103: Professor Chen's Troubles

Recently, Professor Chen has been doing well.

After finishing the design of the firewall system, he finally had time to rest.

But during this period, he wasn't completely idle.

He was writing a paper.

This paper, Professor Chen will publish in the most influential international magazine, Science and Technology Times.

Such days are leisurely and comfortable for Professor Chen.

However……

Nothing can be perfect.

Just over half a month ago, the relevant department found him.

It wasn't that Professor Chen got into trouble.

But rather… the firewall system had a problem.

Nor does it count as the firewall system having a problem.

It's just that… the departments using Professor Chen's firewall system have recently been subjected to massive attacks.

Such attacks are incessant and constantly being updated and changed.

Now, Professor Chen's firewall system can naturally still withstand the attacks, but the opponent's vigor is too fierce!

The relevant departments are all very important; if the firewall system is destroyed and data lost, it would be a very serious matter.

The relevant leadership, being proactive, found Professor Chen and hoped he could offer some ideas.

Professor Chen naturally wouldn't refuse, but here……

Professor Chen encountered another problem.

The core and foundation of the firewall system are his design, but… the final version of the firewall was settled by Lu Yu.

If updates or optimizations are needed, it's really hard to bypass Lu Yu.

Moreover……

Updating and optimizing the firewall is an uninterrupted process.

As for the technology involved in the firewall currently, Professor Chen dare not say that only he and Lu Yu can support the whole Huaxia, but… there really aren't many.

Moreover, even if others have such technology, they need sufficient understanding of the firewall system, which takes time.

So… the problem ultimately became: Lu Yu must constantly find time to update and optimize the firewall system.

Professor Chen, being older, really isn't suited for this kind of thing.

Then there was another accident……

Professor Chen knows Lu Yu has been making games recently, and his influence is still great.

He… feels bad about disturbing Lu Yu.

To be frank, Lu Yu really can't be considered his student; Lu Yu participating in his project is not for gilding, nor is it adding icing on the cake, but rather providing charcoal in the snow.

Professor Chen doesn't even have time to feel grateful to Lu Yu.

So, in the end……

Professor Chen himself took it on.

These few days, he… shouldn't be too tired!

Today, he just came back from elsewhere.

But he didn't go home to rest; instead, he came to the office.

He also has to check the students' learning progress, help them see their project progress, and wrap up some small projects he developed……

Professor Chen has a pile of things he can't finish.

……

Dong dong dong!

Suddenly, a knocking sound came from outside Professor Chen's door.

Professor Chen, being too absorbed in work, didn't notice it at all.

Lu Yu directly pushed the door open and came in.

"Professor Chen…" Lu Yu knocked again, calling softly.

"Ah… Xiao Yu, you're here." Professor Chen finally lifted his head and saw Lu Yu.

"Professor Chen, you don't look well, very tired. Something wrong?" Lu Yu was straightforward.

Professor Chen fell silent for a moment, then lightly shook his head, gave a wry smile, and said: "It's just that I've been overworked lately, nothing serious, I can still manage."

Professor Chen still didn't want to speak the truth, not wanting to make Lu Yu feel awkward.

Lu Yu thought for a moment and said: "I just came from Grandpa Li's place; Grandpa Li mentioned you. He didn't say what happened on your end, but…"

"I think Professor Chen you must have encountered some problem, related to the firewall system?"

Professor Chen's eyes widened involuntarily, his face showing surprise.

Lu Yu raised his eyebrows slightly and continued: "The firewall system itself shouldn't have any problems, so… the problem comes from outside?"

"The firewall system has been under frequent attacks lately? It needs timely maintenance and updates?"

Although Lu Yu was using a question, his tone grew increasingly firm.

"How… how do you know?" Professor Chen's face showed even greater surprise; he hadn't even told Old Li about this.

Is Lu Yu divine?

Lu Yu fell silent for a moment, then said: "The people over in Meizhou are being a bit too overbearing!"

Professor Chen's eyes almost popped out of their sockets.

Lu Yu even knows the attacks on the firewall system are coming from Meizhou?

"You... how did you know?" Professor Chen's voice trembled. If it weren't that knowing about the Firewall System's related matters is absolutely confidential, with no chance of leakage, he would have thought someone leaked it to Lu Yu.

Lu Yu let out a cold snort, which was naturally not directed at Professor Chen.

Earlier, when they were testing the system, the opponent was the hackers from Meizhou.

The hackers lost, and Meizhou lost face.

Based on Lu Yu's understanding of them, these people would not so easily admit defeat, especially in technology.

They have always considered themselves the overlords of technology, so...

Lu Yu never expected them to be so direct, choosing such an overt method.

If it weren't for this visit to Professor Chen, he really wouldn't have known about this matter.

But now that he knows, Lu Yu will definitely do something.

"Professor Chen, this matter also has my responsibility; please let me contribute as well." Lu Yu explained his reasoning, and finally said this.

"But... aren't you busy with other things right now?" Professor Chen said.

"In fact, the matters over at Grand are temporarily settled."

"Moreover, isn't this matter more important than everything else?"

Lu Yu said so.

Professor Chen stared again, then his gaze toward Lu Yu was filled with relief.

It's rare for someone as young as Lu Yu to have such awareness.

Huaxia ought to rise!

"Good, having you say that is enough." Professor Chen said.

Then, the two of them, one older and one younger, began to discuss.

In the end, all fatigue on Professor Chen's face vanished, replaced by excitement.

After finishing the meeting with Professor Chen, Lu Yu left the office and returned home.

He called Chen Qiao to ask for leave.

Tomorrow, tomorrow Lu Yu will leave Mo Du with Professor Chen and head for Jingdu.

He will give the people from Meizhou a lesson, a profound lesson!

Dare to act against Huaxia?

Though far, they shall be punished!

Inside a certain base in Meizhou.

Here there is a huge building, inside which are filled with various electronic equipment.

Just the equipment in this building is already astonishingly valuable.

There are ten people inside the building.

These ten people are frantically pounding the keyboards.

At this moment, one of them stopped his action and stood before the huge screen in front of the building.

Looking at the image on the screen, the corner of his mouth twitched slightly, revealing a smug smile.
