Chapter 126: with translation of chapter title

Hero Kill's concurrent online users have reached the million‑level!

Moreover, this number has not decreased with the passage of time!

Little Yu, you've succeeded again!

This is already the second day since Hero Kill was released.

In Lu Yu's office, Chen Qiao rushed in, his face full of excitement as he said to Lu Yu.

Given the current situation, Hero Kill is undoubtedly successful.

Even if the data doesn't grow further, these million players have already brought Penguin enough benefits.

You should know that although Hero Kill is free, to play Hero Kill one must register for Penguin.

How many times has Penguin's user base grown compared to before?

Forty to fifty times!

This is absolutely a terrifying number.

Take another look at this game's concurrent online users; the players' online time already!

It is obvious that these numbers cannot be compared with Legend, but!

You should know, Hero Kill is just a small game!

For a small game, a million players is no longer a matter of whether to make money or not!

This is explosive‑level!

So, Chen Qiao came rushing over excitedly to celebrate with Lu Yu.

Lu Yu, however, remained calm, after all he had long known Hero Kill's influence.

Moreover, Lu Yu clearly understood that what Chen Qiao thought was the limit was merely… a beginning!

What is the true charm of this game?

Or rather, where does the true charm of a game based on social software lie?

People bring people!

Put simply, if one person finds the game fun, they will invite their friends.

Then?

Then, the number of game players will grow explosively!

By then……

Penguin's user count will naturally also increase in an explosive way!

This is Lu Yu's true purpose: to increase Penguin's user base.

After Penguin's user base grows, what does it matter if people grow tired of Hero Kill?

By then, they will already be unable to leave Penguin!

"How about we celebrate together tonight?"

"It's just that Mr. Ma isn't in Mo Du, so he can't come over to celebrate, which is a pity."

Chen Qiao said so.

Lu Yu, however, said: "Even if Mr. Ma were in Mo Du, he probably couldn't celebrate with us; he still has things to attend to."

"What else does Mr. Ma have to be busy with?" Chen Qiao asked, a bit confused.

Now Penguin's operations are normal; Mr. Ma's earlier preparations are more than enough.

Could it be that……

Chen Qiao couldn't help but look at Lu Yu, forming a bold guess in his mind.

"Will Hero Kill's user base increase further? Explosively?" Chen Qiao said.

Lu Yu nodded lightly.

Chen Qiao's eyes widened suddenly.

How could that be possible!

A million is already an enormously huge number; how could it possibly increase further?

……

Mr. Ma also thought it impossible.

Is Lu Yu perhaps too confident about Hero Kill?

To be frank, just the current situation has already left Mr. Ma feeling shocked.

He had never before imagined that Hero Kill would have a million concurrent users.

Mr. Ma, being a science student who respects data, already knew that Penguin's registrations have exceeded two million!

That is another number that could make people scream.

Mr. Ma thought this was already the limit Penguin could reach in a short time.

But… Lu Yu nevertheless demanded that Mr. Ma continue to increase the server capacity!

Mr. Ma couldn't understand it, but he still did as told.

Although he thought Lu Yu's judgment was wrong.

But because Lu Yu had given him plenty of shocks, Mr. Ma remained diligent in his work.

……

"The online number has exceeded a million?"

Inside Grand Plan, Qin You's face was full of disbelief.

His Conquest has, up to now, a total download count exceeding five hundred thousand, with an online user count reaching a terrifying two hundred thousand.

But… compared to Hero Kill, the difference is not just a little bit!

Most importantly, Qin You's Conquest War used a large amount of resources from Grand Plan, even cooperating with icq.

icq is still the top bigwig in social software!

In this situation, did Qin You still lose?

Did icq lose to Penguin?

Did Conquest War lose to Hero Kill?

No! It should be said that icq together with Conquest War lost to Hero Kill!

Because Penguin was just a small software with only tens of thousands of registrations before this.

Now…… Hero Kill, carrying this burden, actually turned the tables and defeated Conquest War!

Qin You didn't believe it was true; he stood there stunned for a long time, then he pushed aside the data analyst and personally checked it himself.

Then…

He was shocked by the result he saw.

It's true!

How is this possible!

On what grounds!

On what grounds could that washed-up kid in my eyes produce such a game?

Qin You refused to accept it!

Qin You returned to his office, he downloaded a Penguin, then logged into Hero Kill.

He wanted to play Hero Kill himself.

Qin You felt that all players had been deceived!

Then, Qin You began his journey with Hero Kill.

The first thing he saw was, of course, the female version of Zhuge Liang.

Then he saw the modified Lu Bu, saw Zhang Fei like a huge ferocious beast, saw Cai Wenji turned into a little loli…

One historical figure after another appeared before Qin You.

These figures were all modified.

Yet they retained the most important traits from history.

Lu Yu merely amplified their characteristics, or rather, infinitely magnified them.

So, what seemed unreasonable actually had some reasonable aspects.

Most importantly, the design of these characters is too distinctive!

You can remember them at a glance!

Just this art part…

Even if Qin You didn't want to admit it, he could only admit it.

Hero Kill utterly defeated Conquest War!

Beyond ordinary imagination, and solid artistic foundation…

Qin You took a deep breath, then began to read the rules and start the game…

……

I don't know when, but the sky had already turned dark.

Qin You also finally finished the sixteenth round of Hero Kill.

He saw the time.

He also finally realized what he had just done.

He spent several hours playing the enemy's game, moreover…… he was so engrossed that he even forgot the passage of time!

What does this indicate?

Qin You's body went limp in the chair, staring at the computer screen, but there was no sparkle in his eyes.

He…… was stunned again, his soul as if being pulled away.

Admit defeat?

No!

No need,

Because Conquest War and Hero Kill are not on the same level at all; the Conquest War that Qin You made doesn't even have the qualification to lose!

This is the gap!

A huge gap that cannot be narrowed no matter what.

Lu Yu, talent exhausted?

Qin You gave a bitter smile.

Then, Qin You closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and took another deep breath.
