Chapter 185: Conspiracy!

To be honest, this statement from the Game Alliance is truly a classic case of 'saying nothing at all'.

Netizens couldn't help but complain.

"What the heck! Saying it equals not saying it. So, is this behavior allowed, or will it be punished? Can't you make it clear for us?"

"I'm really fed up! How many days have passed since the incident? Why haven't we reached a decision yet? If there really is no decision, there's no need to issue this statement, right?"

"The world's most authoritative Game Alliance? With this efficiency, you don't deserve it. When they changed the competition rules before, why was it so easy? Now it's just a minor issue, and they can't even handle it properly?"

"I'm speechless! For such a big event, you don't even have the ability to handle a small accident?"

"I really don't know what they're doing!"

Netizens even started doubting the Game Alliance's ability.

For a while, the entire internet was filled with voices of dissatisfaction.

Such an impact is huge!

You have to know that for a person, a company, or any organization, credibility is the most important.

If people get the impression that 'this person is no good,' would others still support him?

But!

In the face of such huge influence, the Game Alliance actually didn't issue an apology statement, nor did they take any action!

It's as if nothing had happened before.

Netizens became even angrier, but……

They also had no way to do anything!

After all, this is just a competition; the Game Alliance is the organizer, they merely failed to act, but they didn't violate any substantive principle, nor did it involve legal issues.

So……

Netizens could only vent their anger helplessly online.

……

Grand, inside Lu Yu's office.

Lu Yu stared intently at the statement issued by the Game Alliance, his expression somewhat solemn.

"Little Yu… I feel the Game Alliance probably won't bother to manage the early release issue anymore."

"Their statement is so vague in attitude; they probably just want to let it drop."

"So… why don't we also release our game early?"

Chen Qiao spoke up.

Lu Yu remained silent for a while, then looked at Chen Qiao and said, "Uncle Chen, this matter might not be that simple."

"I feel this matter…… is definitely aimed at me."

"Have you noticed?"

"Although many participants have already released their games early, and quite a few have even released two games, …… not all participants have released a game."

"Could there be no catnip in here?"

Chen Qiao calmed down and began to think seriously.

Indeed, there are still quite a few participants who haven't released their games.

These participants haven't even finished making their first game? How is that possible!

For Lu Yu, the International Game Maker Competition is a temporary contest.

But for the overseas contestants, they actually prepared in advance.

So, they fundamentally don't have the problem of insufficient time or energy.

So…… the fact that they still haven't released their first game is somewhat suspicious, isn't it?

Lu Yu spoke again, saying: "I even think that when I release my game, the Game Alliance will directly cancel my eligibility to continue in the competition."

"Although saying that might sound self-aggrandizing, I can't rule out this possibility."

"Unless the other forty-nine participants have all already released their games."

Chen Qiao's brows involuntarily furrowed tightly.

Is Lu Yu important?

How could he not be important?

These days' experiences have made Chen Qiao even unable to resist the thought that if it's Lu Yu, there's nothing he can't do!

So, even if the other side places great importance on Lu Yu, Chen Qiao understands.

Thus, now…… Chen Qiao feels that what Lu Yu said is not without reason.

"So…… we can only wait until the deadline to upload our game?"

"In that case…… our first-move advantage…… is completely gone!"

Chen Qiao said with a worried face.

This time Lu Yu didn't laugh, saying: "If I want to guarantee my participation eligibility one hundred percent, then this is indeed the only way."

Chen Qiao couldn't help but slam his fist heavily on the table.

Feeling stifled, helpless, unwilling…… these emotions are like a rope tightening around the neck, making Chen Qiao extremely angry yet powerless.

Lu Yu finally sighed and said: "We can only blame ourselves for being too weak at present."

But after saying that, Lu Yu's eyes became extremely sharp, and even his fists clenched involuntarily.

"But! We will become strong!"

"Our Huaxia will eventually become strong; no one will dare to treat us with this almost mocking manner!"

"No one will be able to look down on us anymore!"

After chatting a bit more with Chen Qiao, Lu Yu went to the Technical Department.

This time, Lu Yu is getting serious!

He even urged Wang Meng, hoping the other party would speed up the work progress.

Lu Yu indeed lost the initiative, being left far behind by others, but!

He did not give up.

On the contrary, Lu Yu's desire for this competition's championship has become unprecedented.

He wants to win this competition in an upright way, in a way that leaves no room for doubt!

So, the number of games Lu Yu will participate in for this competition is not two!

After completing Supreme Racing Car, Lu Yu will continue developing the next game.

It could be three, or even a fourth game!

Lu Yu is really angry!

……

Mi Guo, Game Alliance Headquarters, inside an office.

"Now Netizens' opinions of our alliance are not good; if this continues, our authority will be questioned! Just to deal with such a little kid, is it necessary?"

"Exactly! We've already united the best game developers, pooling their resources; not to mention Lu Yu, even the whole world couldn't find anyone who could rival them."

"From the start, I felt our decision was a loss outweighing the gain."

The several people in the office spoke up one after another, their faces showing discontent.

They are all members of the Game Alliance, and they count as high-ranking officials.

They belong to a faction's members, and this incident was actually instigated by them.

However, seeing the impact caused by Netizens, they eventually have some regret, and are now questioning.

But their questioning attitude is not strong.

Because……

The object of their questioning is the Vice Chairman of the Game Alliance, who is currently seated in the chief position and is also the leader of their faction, Debu!
