Chapter 219: Besieged on All Sides

Let's put it this way, Grand later on, if it hadn't had the support of Certain Point, it very likely would have collapsed long ago.

And Certain Point indeed produced many good works, and even more, various types of groundbreaking works.

Lu Yu even couldn't wait to see some familiar writer names, to see their works.

Of course, for now, everything is still premature.

The success of Certain Point still needs time to ferment.

But Chen Qiao being able to take this path still makes Lu Yu quite happy.

Chen Qiao felt rather puzzled, after all, Grand's current situation isn't good, and he also doesn't know how Certain Point will develop in the future.

But Chen Qiao didn't ask further.

……

Online insults toward Grand haven't stopped just because time has passed.

This time, the netizens' 'combat power' seems to have become far stronger than before.

And often, when netizens insult Grand, they inevitably also bring up Brilliant and Dragon Source.

So, Dragon Source has attracted even more attention.

For now, Dragon Source could even become the top domestic game, surpassing Legend seems just a matter of time.

For Grand, for Lu Yu, everything seems to be heading toward the worst direction.

But then, at this moment, another piece of news came out.

It was the official website of Brilliant Game Company that released a notice.

"Ten years to forge a sword, this is something that extremely tests patience."

"But we have indeed done it."

"Dragon Source being liked by everyone has given us confidence and courage."

"So, we will release another game next week."

"Of course, this game is also something we have prepared for a long time, a sincere work of genuine intent."

"As always, we don't fear everyone's supervision, and we are not a company that just talks the talk."

"Then, if the game isn't fun, if you don't feel our sincerity, feel free to criticize us."

Brilliant's this notice instantly drew netizens' attention again.

Netizens who were already dissatisfied with Grand now have their emotions surged to the extreme!

"Look! Look at Brilliant! Brilliant constantly introduces new things, is enduring hardship and training, but what is Grand doing?"

"Although Brilliant's new game hasn't been released yet, I can already be certain it is another work full of sincerity and will definitely be fun!"

"I've already decided: if Brilliant's game this time reaches half the level of Dragon Source, I will hype Brilliant to the skies."

"From now on, I really won't play Grand's games anymore."

"I will uninstall Penguin, I will uninstall Legend."

This time, netizens aren't just talking; many have actually started uninstalling.

This has even formed a trend.

Grand suffered a major blow, and even dragged Penguin down with it.

……

Xiao Yu, the situation now seems not so good.

"If we don't act now, the problem will become big!"

Chen Qiao couldn't sit still.

Lu Yu fell silent for a moment, lightly nodded, and said: "We indeed should take action."

"Before, I gave the plans for two games to Technical Department One; they should be nearly finished now."

"Let's send out a notice later, saying that next week we will have two new games launching together."

Chen Qiao lightly nodded, as if relieved; as long as Lu Yu has a response, it's fine.

Then the two chatted a while longer, after which Chen Qiao went off busy.

……

Online became lively again.

Because Grand's official website released a notice.

"Lu Yu's latest game work will meet everyone next week."

It's a very simple notice, yet netizens are excited beyond measure.

"Lu Yu is finally going to act! This time it probably won't be a trash game, right?"

"To be honest, although I've lost confidence in Grand, I can still trust Lu Yu."

"Lu Yu has never let anyone down."

Players still have full confidence in Lu Yu.

"But... over the past year, hasn't Lu Yu made too many games?"

"A person's brain capacity should be limited, right?"

"Even if Lu Yu can still maintain his standard, who can guarantee that this time his game can surpass Dragon Source?"

"I'm not too optimistic about Lu Yu either."

"By the way, have you noticed that Grand's game release time and Brilliant's game release time are the same! So, is Grand trying to prove they're stronger than Brilliant by doing this?"

"To be honest, I really don't think highly of Grand. It's obvious that Brilliant came well-prepared this time."

"I feel Dragon Source is just their test run; at the very least, the quality of the games they release in the future won't be worse than Dragon Source!"

"Dragon Source is already this fun; just how excellent will their next game be!"

Netizens discussed what would happen a week later, and in the end they reached a conclusion.

This time Lu Yu is going to crash!

This is indeed the most popular saying now, and it fits the logic.

……

Originally everyone was quietly waiting for what would happen a week later, but then suddenly……

Another accident happened!

Source Game Company and Gold Prosperity Game Company simultaneously announced they would release a new game next week.

Their words were very gentle.

"Being able to jointly release games with an industry giant like Grand is a huge test for us."

"But we trust our game developers, we trust our hard work."

"We just hope that when the time comes, we won't be crushed too badly by Grand."

"Let's look forward to what happens a week from now together."

By the way, Source Game Company and Gold Prosperity Game Company are both well-known domestic game companies, even more famous than Brilliant.

Before Lu Yu joined Grand, the reputation and strength of these two companies were actually stronger than Grand's.

After Lu Yu appeared, they gave the feeling of having faded into obscurity.

But no one expected them to pop up again at this time.

"Holy shit! What's going on again? Are Source and Gold Prosperity now targeting Grand?"

"I feel like Grand is now surrounded on all sides."

"I can only say that those who come have ill intentions, while those with good intentions do not come. Although Source and Gold Prosperity speak gently, they surely have made ample preparations."

"This time I feel Grand is really going to blow up!"

The netizens got excited again.

At the same time, they became even less optimistic about Grand.

Even against Brilliant alone, Grand might not be able to win, let alone now that two more opponents have appeared.

Finally, someone summed up recent events like this:

"The spring of Huaxia has finally arrived, and hundreds of flowers are beginning to vie for beauty."

"Grand, as a pioneer, might this time be completely sunk, making way for those who come after with a great road to the heavens."
