Chapter 222: Another Crushing Victory

He Chi looked at several posts related to Bubble Hall.

Whether it was the content of the posts themselves or the Comments below, the posts about Bubble Hall were all praise for Lu Yu.

Their thoughts were almost all the same as He Chi's.

He Chi couldn't help but smile.

It seems Lu Yu succeeded again this time, and he doesn't need to do anything more!

After thinking, He Chi opened a post related to Run Run Go-Kart.

He had never played this game, so he was a bit worried, worried that it wouldn't be as fun as Bubble Hall and would face doubt and criticism.

But…

He Chi obviously overthought it!

The post read as follows:

"Lu Yu is the eternal god!"

This is the first sentence of the post.

"Who could have imagined that a racing game with a cartoon character as the protagonist would be this fun!"

"First, friends who seek speed and excitement can get a full experience in this game."

"The game's mechanics are very well done; they can be said to be quite reasonable."

"How to corner, when to choose a position, and your familiarity with the map… all determine the outcome of this game."

"Even a tiny mistake could have a huge impact on the result of the entire match."

"Although it can't compare to real car racing, it indeed lets people experience excitement."

"Moreover, the game's item mode is also quite fun."

"During the game, items appear one after another, each with different effects. Some can make the opponent's controls appear reversed in the game, while others can directly inflict damage on the opponent…"

"Both entertainment and genuine skill are fully demonstrated in this game."

"This is the best racing game I've ever seen."

"Yes, this is the best, not just this year, but including all games!"

The post's conclusion can be said to give Run Run Go-Kart a very high rating.

When He Chi finished reading this post, he had no other thoughts; now…

He just wants to open the game he downloaded last night and play it seriously for a while!

Just by looking at this post, He Chi developed a strong interest in Run Run Go-Kart.

…

Grand, inside Lu Yu's office.

"Little Yu… we've succeeded again!"

"As of now, Bubble Hall's downloads exceed one million, and Run Run Go-Kart's downloads are approaching two million!"

"The games released by the other three companies have decent downloads, especially Brilliant's new game, which has over 800,000 downloads, but compared to us, they're still far behind!"

"Most importantly, I've noticed that the online comments are all in our favor."

"Or rather, what everyone is discussing now are Bubble Hall and Run Run Go-Kart!"

Chen Qiao became excited again, although he had long believed that as long as Lu Yu took action, he would surely achieve good results.

But… Chen Qiao still didn't expect the results to be this good!

Lu Yu seems born to break records.

As for that, Lu Yu merely gave a faint smile.

How could Bubble Hall and Run Run Go-Kart possibly fail?

The gameplay is simple enough to pick up at a glance, but it actually contains various details; wanting to truly become an expert in these two games takes time.

In Lu Yu's previous life, these two games could be said to be nationwide games!

At that time, Legend had already begun to decline, and Grand relied on these two games to regain dominance in the gaming world.

It can be said that back then, whenever you were in an internet cafe, there would definitely be someone playing these two games.

Moreover, some people even specially leveled up for these two games!

In fact, Lu Yu actually hesitated when launching these two games.

At that time, another game came to his mind.

"Dragon Nest!"

But in the end, Lu Yu still rejected this idea.

Because Dragon Nest and Dragon Source share some similarities.

If Dragon Nest appeared now, Brilliant—or rather, the people behind Brilliant—might shamelessly accuse Lu Yu of plagiarism.

Lu Yu isn't afraid of lawsuits, after all, but it would affect Grand, and it's also a troublesome matter.

Since Lu Yu has countless games in his mind and countless choices, he can also opt for a more relaxed approach.

The facts also prove that Lu Yu's approach is correct.

Now Bubble Hall and Run Run Go-Kart have achieved excellent results.

After today, the performance of these two games will even surpass Dragon Source.

Without a doubt, Lu Yu has won again!

After all, he's a cheat-user!

It's not that Brilliant isn't strong enough, nor that the people behind Brilliant aren't strong enough—what can we do?

…

Brilliant headquarters, General Manager's office.

Wei Wu's face no longer had its earlier nonchalance; right now his brows were tightly knit, his expression grim to the extreme.

He had already checked the data for the third time.

The result was……Grand—or rather, Lu Yu had succeeded again!

Brilliant……was completely trampled under Lu Yu's feet!

"This Lu Yu……"

"Why……why does he still have such novel ideas, why can he still create such a popular game?"

"What on earth is stuffed inside his head?"

"We clearly have the Game Alliance's backing, and they gave us two games that could be called epoch-making, yet we actually lost!"

"Who can defeat Lu Yu?"

"Who can!"

Talking to himself to the end, Wei Wu could no longer hold back and burst into a loud roar.

He had been in this industry for quite a while.

He had achieved some results, and had even almost brought Brilliant to its peak.

But……

Wei Wu always fell just short.

Only when Lu Yu appeared did Wei Wu finally completely abandon his own ideas.

But he was naturally unwilling.

Who doesn't want to climb to the summit?

But Lu Yu's performance in the International Game Maker Competition was truly dazzling!

So……when a big shot from the Game Alliance found him, when the other party promised to give him two superb games, but the other party also promised to give Brilliant sufficient resources……

Wei Wu had no hesitation and accepted the other party's proposal.

For this, Wei Wu even gave up fifty-one percent of Brilliant's shares, becoming Brilliant's second shareholder.

He made such a great sacrifice, but the result he got in return was……
