Chapter 946: Azure Dragon Ascending Dragon Pool, Heaven‑Defying Artifact

Refining the Ascending Dragon Pool is not difficult; the difficulty lies in how to maximize its function and enable it to self‑nurture Ascending Dragon Liquid to help the dragon clan awaken their bloodline. This step is very important and also the most crucial.

The original Ascending Dragon Pool worked well, merging with Longshe Shan, using Longshe Shan to help absorb heavenly and earthly spiritual qi, and letting itself keep growing. Chen Chuyang had poured in many dragon clan corpses and various materials, gradually enhancing the Ascending Dragon Pool.

The Azure Dragon spine bone before me is many times stronger in quality than the earlier Wild Dragon Snake, and besides, this is the spine bone of the Azure Dragon Clan, not a flood dragon; essentially, there is a difference.

This difference is great, so the Ascending Dragon Pool refined from it will naturally be much stronger, but the refining difficulty will increase considerably.

First, melting the Azure Dragon spine bone is not a simple matter; Chen Chuyang has no time to waste here, with only little time left in a month, he takes out the Alchemy Furnace and directly enlarges it.

Only after it could contain the Azure Dragon bones did Chen Chuyang nod in satisfaction, then he let the spine bone be burned by flames, the Pill Fire burning at full strength; after the Alchemy Furnace's enhancement, the Azure Dragon spine bone showed signs of melting, albeit slowly.

Chen Chuyang was not in a hurry; according to his estimate, it would fully melt in three days, after which he would input true qi, and the rest would depend on the Alchemy Furnace itself.

「Let the Azure Dragon spine bone melt slowly; this way we can just remove its impurities. 」

「Besides the Azure Dragon spine bone, other materials also need to be melted. 」

Chen Chuyang took out the other materials; he entrusted the Alchemy Furnace itself to melt them there, while he himself melted the other materials.

Various ores, and also the formation aspect, need to be considered for inscription—what formation to use; the formation of the previous Ascending Dragon Pool was not strong enough, so we need to raise its level and power. In this regard, Chen Chuyang had already prepared.

Back then and now, his attainment in formations is not on the same level.

Melting various ores, the treasures grandmother gave are truly many; Chen Chuyang, being generous, allocated all usable ones to grandmother—who let her be so sensible, and she also gave him a greeting gift.

For such a person, Chen Chuyang naturally should also return the favor.

It hurts, but what ought to be given must be given; we cannot let grandmother down, after all she is also our grandmother. Once the Ascending Dragon Pool is refined, the beneficiaries will still be our Chen clan—why not do it?

The Azure Dragon clan's bloodline is left only with them; if we don't let them use it, who would?

Grandmother merely wants the Azure Dragon clan's future, so she needs to re‑refine the Ascending Dragon Pool; she clearly knows the Ascending Dragon Pool is the foundation and the key to whether the Azure Dragon clan can rise in the future.

In a flash, another three days passed.

Inside the Alchemy Furnace, the Azure Dragon spine bone was melted.

Chen Chuyang immediately began merging the liquids of many materials with the Azure Dragon spine bone's liquid; they fused together, naturally producing new impurities.

Impurity removal began, requiring nine times in total.

Each removal lets the liquid inside shrink a bit and makes these liquids more pure.

Chen Chuyang is not afraid and does not feel it's a waste of time.

This is a good chance to test his artifact‑refining skill and improve his artifact‑refining ability.

After nine impurity removals, Chen Chuyang showed a smile; inside the Alchemy Furnace remained a pool of bluish‑white liquid.

The pure Azure Dragon liquid—Chen Chuyang infused Azure Dragon blood; the Azure Dragon essence blood he had condensed amounted to less than one percent of the many bloods, which pained him, yet he still had to inject it.

After the Azure Dragon essence blood was injected, that mass of liquid turned blood‑red.

It quickly dyed the liquid red, and then that mass of liquid began to shape its form.

Following Chen Chuyang's envisioned change, it gradually became the shape of an Ascending Dragon Pool; the preliminary state was not yet fully stabilized.

Chen Chuyang began carving the formations, imprinting them one by one; once formed, imprinting further formations is not that easy.

Imprinting various formations in, the difficulty is very high.

After spending three full days and nights, once all formation inscriptions were completed, he activated the formations to absorb heavenly and earthly spiritual qi, absorb various essence blood, and replenish itself.

The Ascending Dragon Pool gradually took shape, bit by bit beginning to coalesce.

Until finally, the Ascending Dragon Pool was completed.

Chen Chuyang looked at the Ascending Dragon Pool before him and showed a faint smile.

Not yet finished.

There is still one final step; Chen Chuyang again burned this Ascending Dragon Pool.

Pill Fire burned, removing impurities again.

When the flames dissipated, the blood‑red color faded.

The azure color faded.

What remained was white, pure white.

It is the white of bone, changing color as the internal liquid increases.

「Hum. 」

The Ascending Dragon Pool trembled once and let out a roar.

The dragon's roar shook things; the lid of the Alchemy Furnace nearly flew off, Chen Chuyang swiftly suppressed it, preventing the lid from flying away.

At the same time, he reached out to suppress the Ascending Dragon Pool.

After a moment, the Ascending Dragon Pool shrank and appeared in Chen Chuyang's palm.

Carrying a hint of azure, the Ascending Dragon Pool, Chen Chuyang began infusing Azure Dragon blood; this time, it was not essence blood.

Trying out this Ascending Dragon Pool's effect, after the Azure Dragon blood was infused, the pool quickly began to change color, turning azure, gradually coalescing azure liquid, then gradually becoming blood‑red, the purest color of blood.

The continually coalescing liquid began to boil.

Chen Chuyang reached out, touched it slightly, and felt that scorching heat.

Ordinary people could not withstand it.

「Azure Dragon Ascending Dragon Pool. 」

「The liquid inside is scalding hot, suitable for the Azure Dragon clan to absorb. 」

Chen Chuyang looked at the liquid inside the Ascending Dragon Pool; he did not try it, for at least now is not the time for him to try—those liquids have little effect on him, soaking in would not… bring him benefit, but rather be wasteful.

His cultivation and strength are too strong; the liquid nurtured by the Azure Dragon Ascending Dragon Pool has limited effect on him.

On the contrary, it works very well for his mother and elder brother; Chen Chuyang put it away and exhaled.

「At last it's finished refining, not letting grandmother down. 」

Chen Chuyang breathed a sigh of relief; he himself also feared failure, after all, this is not an ordinary spiritual artifact.

This Azure Dragon Ascending Dragon Pool belongs to the forbidden‑artifact grade, its refining difficulty increased manyfold.

It was only because Chen Chuyang's strength breakthrough and refining technique breakthrough that he could steadily forge this Azure Dragon Ascending Dragon Pool, which is more advanced and more effective than Longshe Shan's Ascending Dragon Pool.

They can all be gradually improved; as more treasures are invested, they can be upgraded.

It's just that it is not as fast as Longshe Shan's Ascending Dragon Pool.

After the forging succeeded, Chen Chuyang immediately chose to exit the realm, to make Grandmother happy.

After a quick tidy‑up, Chen Chuyang retrieved the Primordial Unity Bell, removed the Formation from the room, pushed open the door, and walked out.

Grandmother Long Zetian rose immediately, walked toward him, and Mother followed, walking over together.

"Chuyang, how is it? Did it succeed?" Mother asked impatiently.

Grandmother Long Zetian also looked at Chen Chuyang with a worried face, fearing a bad answer.

Chen Chuyang smiled, "Mother, the child is very lucky, succeeded in a single forging, here is the Ascending Dragon Pool that Grandmother wanted."

He took out the Azure Dragon Ascending Dragon Pool and handed it to Grandmother Long Zetian.

Long Zetian stared excitedly at that Ascending Dragon Pool, her eyes narrowed, pupils dilated, her face full of disbelief.

She trembled, extended both hands, and shakily received the Ascending Dragon Pool.
