Chapter 174: The Wu Gang of Fabricated Wrath, the Multiverse Stunned!
Star Cluster Universe.
United Star Command.
Human Coalition Grand Marshal Sidney stared at Xu Tengfei, who was being toyed with like a marionette by Lu Fa on the celestial screen, his face turning ashen.
"Loose military discipline, arrogant and conceited, utterly lacking teamwork awareness."
Sidney slammed a fist onto the bridge,
"If this kind of young-master soldier were placed in the Human Coalition's expeditionary army, he wouldn't even pass recruit camp evaluation."
"He has no idea what level of monster he's up against."
"Relying on a bit of genetic talent, he dares to storm the enemy camp alone—he's playing with the fate of an entire planet!"
Super Beast Armor World.
Huo Linfei propped his chin on one hand, curled his lip:
"This kid is even more full of himself than I am. At least I know when to quit when I'm outmatched—I'd surrender if I couldn't beat Tian Yu."
"He's worse: when he can't win, he puts on a tough front, then blames his teammates when he fails. With that mentality, if he ran into the Four Great Guardians serving the Underworld King, he'd probably piss himself on first sight."
"Not like that gaming Wu Gang—at least Wu Gang looks like he can throw a solid punch and is genuine."
Ninja World.
Konoha Village.
Kakashi Hatake lowered his forehead protector to block the Sharingan. He let out a sigh:
"Someone who doesn't cherish their comrades is worse than trash. Xu Tengfei places personal honor above the team. Li Haotian's palm strike was spot on."
"However, Wu Gang does seem steadier and more reliable than Xu Tengfei—at least when ambushed, his first reaction is to counterattack, not to shirk responsibility."
The celestial screen switched at the right moment.
The narrator's voice sounded again, announcing a new round of assessment.
【Among Earth's second-generation armor summoners, Wu Gang is an extremely puzzling existence.】
At the center of the screen, Wu Gang's résumé popped up.
【IQ test: 145. A genius in higher mathematics, three-time consecutive champion of the citywide esports tournament.】
The multiverse audience saw this data and felt a surge of spirit.
"High IQ, strong reflexes—this is prime pilot material."
In the Marvel World, Tony Stark snapped his fingers,
"If controlled properly, the Vajra Armor in his hands should be able to unleash the ultimate tactics of a heavy infantry unit."
However,
The celestial screen's music suddenly shifted key.
The file page was covered by a huge red X.
【Fatal flaw: anger.】
【Easily enraged, quick to lose rationality.】
The picture began to flash back rapidly.
Wu Gang argued with Xu Tengfei inside the teppanyaki restaurant; Xu Tengfei merely tossed off a 'brainless poor scholar' remark, whereupon Wu Gang instantly flared up, grabbed the teppanyaki spatula and was about to fight Xu Tengfei to the death.
Wu Gang was playing games at the arcade when someone behind him accidentally bumped his chair; he jumped up, grabbed the person's collar, and shouted abuse.
In battle, after being mildly provoked by two Netherworld Demons, Wu Gang abandoned his defensive formation, grabbed an Explosive Thunder Drill and charged brainlessly forward, leaving his back completely exposed to the other two demons.
Each time, a single spark is enough to detonate this bomb that is Wu Gang.
The celestial screen continued onward.
The sun shone brightly.
Li Haotian's "Happy Delivery Point" officially opened for business.
Wu Gang wore a bright orange delivery uniform, donned a helmet, and mounted a yellow heavy motorcycle.
An alarm blared from the communicator.
A citizen reported the sighting; monsters were spotted along the shore.
Wu Gang immediately twisted the throttle.
The yellow motorcycle sped down the coastal road, its exhaust pipe emitting a piercing roar.
He arrived at the scene; the sea wind howled, and there was not a soul in sight.
"Where are they? Where did they go?"
Wu Gang took off his helmet and kicked the sand in frustration.
He searched the coastline once over, not even catching a glimpse of a Netherworld Demon.
Just then, his pocket phone rang urgently.
Wu Gang answered the call.
On the other end came a sharp tirade:
"Why hasn't my package arrived yet? It's already twenty minutes past the agreed time—are you going to deliver it or not?"
"If you don't send it, I'll file a complaint right away and have your boss dock your pay!"
That call was the final straw that broke the camel's back.
Wu Gang's forehead veins bulged.
He held the phone and mocked into the microphone:
"Go on, go on, go on! Go complain! Go to the Consumer Association! Go to headquarters! Do whatever you want!"
He took a deep breath, his tone turning extremely arrogant: "I'll tell you straight—my boss is my brother, what can you do to me? I'm not delivering today!"
Having said that, Wu Gang slammed the hang-up button.
Cybertron.
Autobot base.
Optimus Prime's blue electronic eyes flickered.
He turned his head to look at his comrade beside him:
"This human emotion control module is completely paralyzed. If a warrior cannot even master his own anger, the weapon in his hand will sooner or later point at his own comrades or civilians. This is an extremely dangerous trait."
In the sky.
Wu Gang hung up the phone and kicked his motorcycle tire.
"Damn Netherworld Demon! Coward hiding his head and showing his tail! He made me run for nothing and still get scolded! They all deserve to die!"
Wu Gang shouted angrily at the empty beach.
"What's wrong with the Netherworld Demon?"
A gentle yet displeased voice came from behind.
Wu Gang whipped his head around.
On the breakwater stood a man in a blue shirt.
The man had short, messy hair, his hands in his pockets, and looked at Wu Gang expressionlessly.
"Should the Netherworld Demon just die?"
The man walked down the breakwater with light steps, yet carried an indescribable sense of oppression.
Wu Gang was seething with anger nowhere to vent, and seeing someone pick up the thread, his fury flared even more:
"Who are you? Speaking for the Netherworld Demon? Are you on the Netherworld Demon's side?"
The man stopped.
He didn't answer Wu Gang's question, merely lowering his gaze to his own hands.
Boom!
Suddenly, azure-blue flames ignited on the man's body.
A fierce wind rose from the ground, whipping up sand across the sky.
In the wind and sand, the man's body underwent a drastic transformation.
Purple lines began to cover him, his whole body demonized, his eyes flashing with cold red light.
Netherworld Demon!
Moreover, he was a high-ranking Netherworld Demon with overwhelming pressure.
He was in fact the biological son of Lu Fa, captain of the Gray Nether Squad, An Miu Xiu.
Wu Gang first stared, then his face lit up with wild joy.
"Delivered right to our door! I've been worried I couldn't find you guys!"
Wu Gang took out a summoner and inserted a card.
"Golden Armor, combine!"
Yellow, white, and black heavy armor covered his entire body. Wu Gang didn't hesitate, directly summoning the weapon Thunderbolt Drill.
"Watch me smash you into minced meat!"
The Golden Armor strode forward, its heavy metal boots leaving deep pits in the sand.
He raised the Thunderbolt Drill high, its screeching drill bit roaring, aiming straight for An Miu Xiu's chest.
An Miu Xiu stood still, unmoving.
Just as the Thunderbolt Drill was about to touch his armor, An Miu Xiu moved.
He tilted his body slightly.
The motion was minuscule, yet precisely enough to dodge that heavy strike.
Wu Gang overexerted, his center of gravity shifting forward.
An Miu Xiu raised his right hand, fingers splayed, and grabbed the shoulder plate of the Golden Armor.
Purple psychic energy erupted.
An Miu Xiu exerted force with his arm, actually lifting the Golden Armor weighing over a hundred kilograms with one hand and then slamming it hard against the concrete wall of the breakwater.
Bang!
The wall cracked.
Wu Gang was shaken, his blood and qi surging.
"Impossible! His strength is that great!"
Wu Gang struggled to get up.
An Miu Xiu clenched his right hand, and dark purple lightning flickered in the void.
A massive double-bladed battle axe coalesced in his hand.
Doomsday Sawtooth Axe.
An Miu Xiu turned his wrist, the axe blade bringing a gust of wind, directly chopping at Wu Gang's face.
Wu Gang raised the Thunderbolt Drill to block.
Clang!
A huge metallic explosion rang out on the beach.
An Miu Xiu's psychic energy completely surpassed Wu Gang's.
With one axe swing, the energy blade of the Thunderbolt Drill was shattered directly.
An Miu Xiu then lifted his leg, driving his knee hard into the abdomen of the Golden Armor.
This blow was devastatingly destructive.
Wu Gang let out a miserable scream, his whole body flying backward more than ten meters, and he rolled several times on the beach before stopping.
The surface of the Diamond Armor flashed with red warning lights, and the energy core was completely overloaded.
Amid a piercing electric sound, the armor was forcibly dismantled.
Wu Gang lay in the sand pit, spitting blood, unable to move a single finger.
The battle ended too quickly. From start to finish, An Moxiu used only three moves.
An Moxiu shouldered the Doomsday Sawtooth Axe and slowly walked up to Wu Gang.
He looked down from above, gazing at this human whose face was full of shock.
An Moxiu did not deliver a killing blow, nor did he go to seize the summoner that had fallen in the sand.
He put away the battle axe, the azure-blue flames on his body faded, and he returned to being that handsome young man.
"I'll spare you."
An Moxiu looked at Wu Gang, his voice calm,
"I'm not like you Armor Warriors, who resort to extermination at the slightest provocation."
An Moxiu turned his back, facing away from Wu Gang:
"You all have a stereotypical image of every Netherworld Demon, thinking we are born solely for slaughter."
"Remember, in this world, not all Netherworld Demons are demons, nor are all those who wear armor representatives of justice."
Having said that, An Moxiu stepped toward the road and quickly disappeared into the crowd.
The myriad realms fell silent.
This dialogue contains too much information, completely overturning the previous faction divisions.
Armor Warrior World Part Three.
Happy House Ramen Shop.
Duanmu Yan directly slammed the ramen bowl that had just been served onto the table.
Hot soup splashed onto the back of his hand, but he didn't even glance at it.
"What bullshit reasoning!"
Duanmu Yan pointed at the firmament and shouted angrily, killing intent boiling in his eyes,
"Netherworld Demons shouldn't die—does that mean humans should? You aliens come to Earth to loot, killing so many people, and now you talk to me about stereotypes? About extermination?"
Duanmu Yan rose from his chair, walked to the window, and stared fixedly at the sky.
"Evil is evil! Anything that's a mutant, any nonhuman monster of this kind, all deserve to die!"
"If I were to encounter that purple Netherworld Demon, I wouldn't care about his circumstances; I wouldn't bother reasoning with him—I'd just chop him in half with one strike."
"They don't deserve to hear my reasoning!"
Armor Warrior World Part One.
ERP Research Institute.
Bei Miao held a coffee cup, leaned against the console, and let out a cold laugh.
"Absolutely ridiculous. The second-generation Armor Summoners of Earth are actually this weak."
"That arrogant Flying Shadow was toyed with by Lu Fa in the palm of his hand, and this so-called heavy-armored Vajra was instantly destroyed in three moves by the Netherworld Demon."
"Hehe, according to my observation, Flying Shadow and Vajra combined aren't even half as strong as my Black Rhino Armor."
"Against such monsters, only our Five Elements Armor can launch a dimensional strike. They simply don't understand what absolute defense and counterattack mean."
Bei Miao took a sip of coffee, his voice full of arrogance:
"Survival of the fittest. If they can't hold onto Earth, it only shows that this rag-tag armor was never meant to exist."
Kingdom of Light.
Universal Defense Force Headquarters.
Taro Ultraman gazed at the firmament, his eyes full of surprise:
"This Netherworld Demon defeated the summoner but didn't take the summoner, nor did he take his life. He was deliberately holding back."
Zoffy Ultraman crossed his arms, his gaze deep:
"The being called An Moxiu harbors immense inner conflict."
"He is suppressing his own power. Wu Gang's remarks are too extreme; we cannot judge an entire race by absolute stereotypes."
"Just as our benevolent Kingdom of Light once gave rise to an evil Ultraman like Belial, the Netherworld Demon legion obviously also contains individuals unwilling to kill, even longing for peace."
Zoffy concluded: "The nature of this war is becoming extremely complex."
The image on the firmament did not stop because of An Moxiu's departure.
The narrator's voice sounded again, tinged with a hint of mockery.
{An Moxiu's mercy did not teach Wu Gang to reflect. }
{If the previous fury only made Wu Gang himself suffer a bit, enduring some flesh wounds, then the following actions would completely drive the entire team into the abyss. }
The camera zoomed in.
The most prosperous underground arcade in the city center.
Neon lights flashed, electronic sounds deafening.
Wu Gang sat in front of a fighting arcade machine.
His fingers became a blur on the joystick and buttons.
The character on the screen unleashed an extremely fancy combo, knocking the opponent out directly.
"Too weak. There's no challenge at all."
Wu Gang yawned, casually tossed a game coin into the air, and caught it steadily.
As a three-time consecutive esports champion, this arcade game is child's play to him.
"Since you're bored, why don't we play something exciting?"
A hoarse voice came from the machine beside him.
A young person in a hooded sweatshirt pulled out a chair and sat down.
Half of his face was hidden in shadow, only one corner of his mouth revealed, bearing an extremely eerie smile.
This is the human disguise of the Netherworld Demon Sharit.
Wu Gang glanced at him:
"Sure."
"How do we play?"
"It's simple. One round decides the winner. The loser leaves something behind."
Sharit slapped a thick stack of hundred-dollar bills onto the control panel.
Wu Gang snorted coldly.
In the gaming realm, he never thought he would lose.
"All right, I'll keep you company."
Wu Gang pulled out his wallet and slapped it on the table.
Both inserted their game coins.
The first round began.
Wu Gang had just readied his signature combo when he noticed the opponent's controls were extremely bizarre.
The key presses sounded disjointed, yet the on-screen character dodged his every attack like a clairvoyant and struck back with a fatal blow.
Less than twenty seconds.
KO.
Wu Gang stared at the dim screen, stunned.
Sharit reached out and took Wu Gang's wallet: "You lost."
"Again!"
Wu Gang's eyes instantly turned red.
Resentment exploded in his mind.
He could not accept being instantly killed in his strongest domain.
