Chapter 26: Who is the aggressor, who is lying? What is Ultraman Seven's choice?

~7 min read 1,297 words

"If you insist on doing this, we Nongma'erte people will surely rise up and fight!"

"The cold and immature announcement echoed through the earpiece in the Ultra Guard's operations command room, followed by a busy tone."

"Annu team member held the phone, the whole person froze."

"\"Nongma'erte people? What is that? Are there any unknown races on Earth? \""

"A guard team member asked, face full of confusion."

"\"Nonsense! I think it's just a prank! How can a child's words be taken seriously! \" Another spoke out indignantly."

"The entire command room was abuzz with discussion, everyone feeling this call was utterly absurd."

"Only Zhuxing Tuan remained silent from beginning to end, not uttering a word."

"He lowered his head, making his expression hard to see, but his clenched fists revealed his inner turmoil."

"Nongma'erte..."

"A term he had buried deep in his memory now surged forth with crystal clarity."

"That was his homeland, the M78 Nebula Land of Light, what Earthlings call it."

"A terrifying conjecture he refused to acknowledge sprouted wildly in the depths of his heart."

"He and Annu drove the guard team's special vehicle, wandering aimlessly along the deserted coastal highway."

"Sea wind poured through the windows, bringing a salty dampness, yet it could not dispel the gloom in his heart."

"Finally, the vehicle stopped at that beach before."

"The little boy in a blue shirt sat alone on a distant reef, gazing at the tumultuous sea."

"Annu could no longer restrain herself; she opened the car door, ran over quickly, and loudly asked the boy's back: \"What exactly is this Nongma'erte you spoke of?! \""

"The boy slowly turned his head; his youthful face bore a weariness and sorrow utterly mismatched with his age."

"He said, word by word: \"They are the true Earthlings. They are this planet's true indigenous people. \""

"He raised his hand, pointing at Annu and at all humanity before the sky screen."

"\"And you, humans now living on land, are the aggressors! \""

"Aggressors?!"

"Annu's mind buzzed, almost unable to think. She opened her mouth to retort, but found she couldn't utter a word."

"The boy gave her no chance to follow up; he leapt and plunged into the icy seawater, vanishing instantly."

"Three-Body Fleet Command Center."

"Analyst 3056, who had been intently observing the sky screen, suddenly had his thought fluctuations become clear and sharp."

"\"I know! According to the current situation analysis, the so-called Nongma'erte people are this planet's true indigenous inhabitants! \""

"\"Long ago, they lived on land, while these humans now occupying the land are the newcomers, the foreign aggressors! \""

"This conclusion caused even the Leader's usually steady thought process to ripple slightly."

"\"How can we be sure? What if this is merely a lie fabricated by that juvenile individual to vie for living space? \""

"\"You must understand: among cosmic mammals, thought is not transparent; they are innately deceitful. \""

"Analyst 3056's thought fluctuations were full of confidence."

"\"The evidence lies in that Ultraman's human form, on Zhuxing Tuan's body! The sky screen clearly displayed his reaction when hearing the word 'Nongma'erte'—he fell into prolonged silence and struggle. This shows he long knew the word's meaning, knew what it signified! \""

"\"As Ultraman Seven, he has always fought to protect humanity, yet they are actually the true aggressors! This fact he could not accept at all for a moment! \""

"The Leader's thought process hovered, pondered for a moment, and accepted Analyst 3056's analysis."

"\"Then, continue the inference. What will Ultraman Seven do after learning that humanity are the aggressors? \""

"Analyst 3056's thought fluctuations exuded a cold ruthlessness."

"\"Based on our current analysis of Ultraman civilization's combat style. \""

"\"I believe that once Ultraman Seven truly accepts this fact, he will without hesitation transform and, with his unmatched combat power, completely wipe out the aggressor humanity from this planet! \""

"\"Just as he previously dealt with those monsters! \""

"This ruthless inference immediately gained the approval of most Hawk faction members within the Three-Body Fleet."

"Earth, PIA Headquarters."

"Cheng Xin sprang to her feet, her lovely face showing a hint of shock."

"\"Impossible! How could humanity be aggressors? We are the most peace‑loving race! \""

"\"This must be the Nongma'erte people lying! They are tampering with history to smear us! \""

"Wei De sat beside her, not turning his head, merely stating calmly in a voice devoid of fluctuation."

"\"Cheng Xin, let's set aside for now whether the Nongma'erte people are Earth's indigenous inhabitants. \""

"\"Just based on what you just said, humanity is the most peace‑loving race. \""

"\"Regarding this, I only want to ask you one question: since records began, how many wars have occurred in human history? \""

"Cheng Xin choked up instantly."

"As a doctoral scholar, she of course could not be unaware of humanity's bloody war history."

"Yet she stubbornly lifted her head, making a near‑obsessive firm declaration."

"\"No matter what happened in the past! I firmly believe humanity's nature is to love peace! \""

"On the sky screen, the plot continues."

"Just as the boy plunged into the sea, the calm sea surface suddenly exploded!"

"A huge octopus monster, waving countless tentacles, roared as it burst out of the water!"

"This is the Nongma'erte people's counterattack!"

"Facing this monster that embodies the fury of the \"indigenous people\","

"Zhuxing Tuan stood on the shore,"

One's inner feelings struggled violently.

Before that, the little boy appeared in front of the group.

He stared fixedly at the group and said:

"Ultraman Seven, are you going to help the invaders?"

The seawater by the shore kept crashing against the rocks,

Zhuxing Tuan finally managed to speak.

"I have no choice but to fight!"

Finally,

He still raised the Ultraman eyeglasses in his hand!

The little boy grew angry, he picked up a stone and threw it at Zhuxing Tuan, roaring:

"You bastard who helps the invaders!"

With a flash of red light, Ultraman Seven appeared on the coastline!

He stood before the monster, hesitating for a moment,

Finally, the ice axe on his head transformed into a green boomerang, precisely cutting off all the tentacles of the octopus monster!

Immediately afterward, an Aemlium ray completely ended the monster's life.

The barrier blocking humanity's ocean mining disappeared.

Marvel Universe,

Titan,

Tuoni Sita ke looked at the red giant in the sky, their expression solemn.

What if… what if what the little boy said is true?

Then Ultraman Seven's recent actions—are they not aiding the tyrant?

helping the invaders, slaughtering the natives who defended their homeland?

Can such behavior be called justice?

Cybertron,

Dahuangfeng excitedly waved their arms.

"I told you! The Nomalt kid is definitely lying! Look, just Ultraman Seven took care of the monster he sent!"

He had just witnessed the grandeur of Naikesisi, and now he viewed Ultraman through a filter.

Upon seeing Ultraman Seven's handsome figure, they immediately became excited.

However, Qingtianzhu stroked their chin and spoke in an unusually solemn tone.

"Dahuangfeng, Nomalt people, are they really lying?"

"And do humans truly represent justice?"

"I think this question still needs us to wait and see."

"This sky will give a fair answer."

Not long after,

In the sea where the Nomalt once lived,

the human exploration team,

dug up an enormous black coffin.

The coffin was made entirely of an unknown black metal, engraved with a huge and eerie symbol.

The Ultraman Garrison received orders from above, tasked with escorting this mysterious coffin.

During the escort, Zhuxing Tuan approached the huge coffin.

He was shocked to discover that, with his Ultraman X-ray vision, he could not see through the coffin's material at all!

This meant that the substance composing the coffin did not belong to Earth at all!

Just as he was doubtful, a faint sound, almost imperceptible, as if coming from ancient primordial times, echoed deep in his mind.

That voice was calling his name.
