Chapter 31: Homeworld collides with Earth
Cybertron.
Megatron watched as, in the sky-screen, Ultraman Leo was besieged by his own brothers in a sorry state, and a hint of cruel mockery appeared on his metallic face.
"It's really amusing—a tiny alien can make those so-called Ultra Brothers spin around!"
"But I'm actually looking forward to seeing what the Ultra Brothers will do when their homeworld collides with Earth—especially you, Ultraman Seven; I don't know if you can still be as hypocritical as before!"
Meanwhile, inside the Autobots' Iron Fortress base.
Bumblebee exclaimed, "Ultraman's planet is going to collide with humanity's planet? That's too exciting!"
Optimus Prime's deep-blue electronic eyes flickered; inside his massive body, the precision computing units were running at high speed.
The density of Ultraman Star is roughly ten to twenty times that of Earth.
Once they collide, the destruction won't be limited to Earth—it will engulf the entire solar system!
Optimus Prime's processor instantly reached a conclusion: this situation is extremely thorny.
On one side is his own homeworld.
On the other side is the entire solar system, including Earth.
How should he choose?
For the Autobots, this situation is like Cybertron colliding with the galaxy—a dead end with no possible compromise.
Super Beast World, the third parallel universe.
The Whale Shark King shook his head and scoffed at the scene on the sky-screen.
"I've said it before: these ant-like humans aren't worth protecting."
"If we had wiped them out from the start, this kind of dilemma wouldn't even exist now."
In his view, Ultraman is too merciful toward those weak little ants.
If Ultraman Seven had, upon learning that humans were invaders, simply crushed those ungrateful creatures, we wouldn't have so many troubles now.
The image on the sky-screen continued.
Ultraman Leo ultimately couldn't withstand four hands with his two fists, and was subdued by the combined effort of the Ultra Brothers.
Three astonishingly destructive beams simultaneously bombarded his body!
Boom!
Ultraman Leo let out a pained groan, his massive body collapsing heavily to the ground, unable to move.
At that moment, the impostor Astra, who was actually a Barbarian Star Person in disguise, raised the Ultra Key high in his hand.
At the tip of that golden scepter, terrifying energy capable of destroying a small planet gathered, aimed at Ultraman Zoffy and the others.
At that critical moment!
In the sky, a golden light flashed, and a dignified figure silently descended!
Ultraman King!
He merely waved his hand, and the Barbarian Star Person's charging attack instantly disintegrated.
The Ultra Key, brimming with infinite energy, also flew from his grasp, snapping in half with a 'crack!' in midair.
Three-Body Fleet command center.
The Leader's thought-form shuddered violently.
"Is this the Ultraman King?"
"But he looks… utterly ordinary!"
A military officer in charge of analysis had his thought-waves filled with doubt.
"Is this Ultraman King the ruler of Ultraman civilization?"
"If you call their ruler a 'king,' does that mean their civilization is still stuck in a primitive monarchic slave society?"
Chief Scientist 3056's thought-waves were filled with unprecedented confusion.
"I can't detect any terrifying energy fluctuations from this Ultraman King at all!"
"No matter how I analyze it, his data are like a dead pool—utterly still."
In the sky-screen,
Ultraman Zoffy saw Ultraman King descend, rushed up, and shook his hand.
Immediately afterward, he posed a question.
"Great King! Why did you break the Ultra Key?"
Ultraman King calmly replied.
"It's fine if the Ultra Key broke, but your actions almost killed Leo, who could have become your seventh brother!"
Ultraman Zoffy argued his point.
"It was Leo's brother Astra who stole the Ultra Key!"
Ultraman King shook his head.
"Look at that person—does he resemble Astra?"
As his words fell, he lightly swayed his red cape, and a soft crescent-shaped beam shot out, striking the impostor Astra squarely.
When the light faded, Astra's form twisted and ultimately turned into a hideous alien!
Barbarian Star Person!
The truth was laid bare for all to see!
Ultraman Zoffy saw this, yet still wasn't fully convinced; he furrowed his brows and continued questioning Ultraman King.
"Great King, why did you turn Astra into a Barbarian Star Person?!"
Ultraman King finally explained the whole truth.
"Ultraman Zoffy, it wasn't me who turned Astra into a Barbarian Star Person—it was the Barbarian Star Person who pretended to be Astra and stole the Ultra Key!"
As soon as these words were spoken, all the Ultraman brothers finally came to a sudden realization.
They were actually all fooled by this Barbarul!
Ace gritted his teeth, furious beyond restraint.
"Barbarul, you bastard!"
Having said that, he transformed into a stream of light and chased after the direction in which the Barbarul aliens fled.
However, the Ultraman King called out to him.
"Barbarul can be defeated at any time."
"But compared to him, we now have a more urgent crisis to resolve."
"Our planet is on a collision course with this Earth!"
Upon hearing this, the Ultraman brothers who had been preparing to pursue all halted their steps.
They returned to Ultraman Planet, preparing to find a solution to this apocalyptic crisis.
Seeing this,
Inside the Three-Body fleet.
The thought fluctuations of that officer again rippled.
"In Ultraman civilization, it seems not to be a simple ruler-subject relationship. That Ultraman King is also not as supreme as we imagined."
"That Ultraman named Zoffy, in front of everyone, repeatedly questioned the Ultraman King several times."
"In a slave society, that would be unimaginable!"
"So I'm curious, what exactly is their social structure like?"
The thought fluctuations of Chief Scientist No. 3056 were also filled with awe.
"Moreover, that seemingly ordinary Ultraman Key actually contains the power to destroy a planet."
"But I still can't find anything special about that Ultraman King; he's too ordinary, ordinary to the point of being abnormal."
The leader's thought form hovered silently.
"Weakness and protection, survival and death, are what we should be concerned about."
"Therefore, compared to what you've said, I'd rather know how these Ultraman will act between the weak lives of their home planet and Earth."
Cybertron Star.
"What to do?"
Megatron let out a disdainful snort.
"These hypocrites can still pose as moral exemplars at other times; in this situation, I don't see how they can keep up the act!"
He firmly believes that Ultraman Seven's earlier choice to protect the human invaders was merely a false benevolence.
After all,
The humans are invading the Farmalt people, not the Land of Light.
Ultraman Seven's actions are no different from helping the invaders!
And now, when the survival of the Land of Light and Earth face the most fundamental conflict of interests, he believes these Ultraman will soon reveal their true colors.
"Hehe, Ultraman brothers, now let's see how you keep up the hypocrite act!"
