Chapter 1121: The Village Chief's Map
The village chief drew a map of the Demon God's seal location in his room according to his memory.
It had been many years ago; although the village chief's memory was fresh, he was not sure if the path had changed.
By the time he finished drawing the map, it was already around twelve o'clock noon.
He checked it carefully several times and modified the parts that were somewhat blurry.
By the time he came out, it was already afternoon.
Calling Chen Ang and the others over, the village chief handed them the map with trembling hands and said earnestly: "This is the map."
"You should look at it a few times and memorize it, so that if the map is lost, you won't have to come back and make me draw it again."
Chen Ang took the map and slowly opened it.
Looking at the various marks made with black-red ink on it, he was speechless for a moment.
Many places had been crossed out with several 'X's by the village chief with a red pen, and he didn't know what they meant.
The village chief leaned over to explain to them: "The places with 'X's are the places I drew wrong."
Everyone looked at the village chief; there were too many wrong places, there were at least a dozen 'X's.
This made them doubt the authenticity of the map.
The village chief turned his head toward the door and said with his hands behind his back: "I'll go find you a few more helpers."
Leaving this sentence behind, he walked away with a stumbling gait.
By the time Chen Ang and the others finished looking at the map, the village chief had brought four people.
Among them, two were villagers, and the other two were people who had come to the village.
These four people were all relatively strong.
The two villagers were familiar with the roads outside.
They could better help Chen Ang and the others enter the land of the Demon God's seal.
After packing everything up, under the gaze of everyone, Chen Ang's group gradually disappeared at the village entrance.
They did not walk on the main road, but under the guidance of the two villagers, they detoured into a small path deep in the jungle.
It couldn't even be considered a road; it could only be said that someone had walked there before.
Many paths required them to use weapons to clear them out.
They didn't walk very far in a single day.
Fortunately, the place where the Demon God was sealed was not very far.
Three days later, Chen Ang and the others arrived beside a cliff.
Chen Ang leaned over to look at the bottomless, white-mist-layered cliff bottom and gasped.
He took a few steps back, looked at one of the villagers, and said: "You aren't going to tell me the seal is down there, are you?"
Both villagers nodded at the same time.
Chen Ang looked at Shui Linglong on the side, signaling him to take out the map.
Shui Linglong took out the map.
Seven people gathered around the map to watch.
The map did not accurately mark where the place of the seal was.
It was just a general direction.
"Are you sure it's down there?" The Peacock Man had a gloomy face, and a trace of ferocity appeared between his brows.
The villager swallowed, but still nodded firmly.
"Why would I lie to you? We are going to kill the Demon God together; it's not like we are asking you to go down while we stay up here."
The other villager said somewhat unconvinced: "If you don't believe us, we'll go down first."
As he spoke, he put the things on his back on the ground, took out a long rope from inside, and threw it down the cliff.
Then, he fixed it securely at the top.
"I'll go down first; you guys do whatever."
Just as he was grabbing the rope to go down, Shui Linglong suddenly asked: "Did you prepare the rope in advance?"
The villager said: "Of course; the mountain roads here are rugged, there must be places where ropes are useful."
The two villagers went down first, and the other five people looked at each other, without further discussion, they followed one by one. ===== CHAPTER 1122 =====
