Chapter 906: Some words

Some words

Yao Chen's youthful experiences and the process of obtaining the Bone Spirit Chill Fire are merely skimmed over in the original work.

So, I referenced this blank experience from the prequel of Battle Through the Heavens, The Legend of Yao Lao (after all, I don't have any other more detailed material)—

Moreover, many readers say the protagonist does nothing all day, just watching Xiao Yan catch up.

Actually, that's not very objective.

After all, from the readers' perspective, you know Xiao Yan traded with the Ancient Clan, you know Gu Xun'er sent the items needed for Yao Chen's resurrection, but the protagonist has no way of knowing.

So, from Lin Feng's perspective, he obtains the Bone Spirit Chill Fire, but cannot resolve the Soul Imprint.

Then, he waits for Xiao Yan to rescue Yao Chen, and massively plunders souls, so later he can conveniently boost his own soul power.

After obtaining the Soul Body, to avoid arousing suspicion from others, he chooses to remain quiet for a period of time.

Taking advantage of this gap, he goes to the Remains of the Creation Saint, obtaining a large amount of resources and the Dragon-Phoenix Origin Fruit.

After all, these things are too important, especially the Dragon-Phoenix Origin Fruit, which is even more important than the Bone Spirit Chill Fire; getting it early brings peace of mind.

This process, from Lin Feng's perspective, isn't it a rather good choice?

But he doesn't know that, while he is acting, Xiao Yan trades with the Ancient Clan and immediately obtains a large amount of Strange Fire, his strength surging.

Moreover, Gu Xun'er also sent the Spirit Dragon Heavenly Herb, and Yao Chen is resurrected.

After all, in Lin Feng's view, the Ancient Clan only has Gu Xun'er willing to help Xiao Yan, and they certainly wouldn't transport such high-grade heavenly treasures in large quantities to Xiao Yan; thus, the other side wants to compensate for Yao Chen's soul origin qi loss, which will take considerable time.

Likewise, Xiao Yan also doesn't know that he paid such a price, his rapidly increased strength, yet he still can't catch up to Lin Feng.

This is also because Xiao Yan doesn't know that Lin Feng possesses the Flame Scripture, and when he traded with the Ancient Clan, he mobilized his wife and acquaintances to search everywhere for Strange Fire, massively plundering Soul Bodies, and gathering the Remains of Fighting Saints.

So, they both are astonished at each other's strength, how it just "whoosh" shot up.

After all, neither side can send spies to infiltrate the other's core.

Therefore, basically they can only guess what the other is doing.
