Chapter 437

"How can this be your fault?" Medusa touched Zi Yan's little head, then frowned and said, "Xiao Yan has started body tempering with the Exotic Fire again, but this time the Exotic Fire is stronger than any previous time, and he also accidentally ate the Dragon-Phoenix Origin Fruit. The energy in his body is extremely violent and could explode at any time. Moreover, I have also tried, but I simply cannot absorb the energy in Xiao Yan's body. If this continues, it will be over sooner or later."

At this moment, Xiao Yan's body was expanding and contracting continuously, like a balloon, with the risk of exploding at any time. If they just waited, Xiao Yan would surely die. Once Xiao Yan died, the Exotic Fire would completely lose its master and become uncontrollable, and they would also be burned into ashes by the Exotic Fire at that time.

At this moment, Xiao Yan still had a trace of consciousness and lowered the temperature of the Exotic Fire around Medusa and Zi Yan, otherwise, the two of them would have been burned into ashes long ago.

Zi Yan naturally also knew the gravity of the situation. Although Xiao Yan's physical body was very strong, compared to a Void Ancient Dragon, it was still much worse. Even she didn't have the confidence to absorb the Dragon-Phoenix Origin Fruit, let alone Xiao Yan.

Once Xiao Yan's body reached the critical point and could no longer absorb the energy of the Dragon-Phoenix Origin Fruit, he would be blown up directly by the violent energy.

Seeing the look of struggle on Zi Yan's face, Medusa asked puzzledly, "Do you have a way?"

Hearing this, Zi Yan's little face suddenly turned red, and she said stammeringly, "Let's wait and see for now! Let's talk about it if it really can't be absorbed!"

Seeing that Zi Yan had a way but refused to say it, Medusa became even more puzzled. Seeing Zi Yan's pretty face flushed red, she seemed to understand something, then opened her mouth and asked, "Zi Yan, as a Void Ancient Dragon, you should be able to absorb the Dragon-Phoenix Origin Fruit, right! Why don't you help him absorb some of the energy?"

"Let's wait and see for now! What if Brother Xiao Yan can absorb the energy of the Dragon-Phoenix Origin Fruit?" Upon hearing that she had to help Xiao Yan absorb energy, Zi Yan's little face turned even redder.

Seeing Zi Yan in this state, how could Medusa not understand? She then whispered her guess into Zi Yan's ear.

"No... it's not like that!" After hearing Medusa's guess, Zi Yan took two steps back directly and said somewhat embarrassedly, "Actually, there's no need for that. It just needs mouth-to-mouth to suck the energy in his body into my body."

Hearing this, Medusa also felt somewhat embarrassed. After spitting lightly, she muttered in a low voice, "It's all Xiao Yan's fault, always mentioning some path of dual cultivation."

"However, Sister Medusa's method should be more effective," Zi Yan thought about it carefully, then opened her mouth and said.

"Forget it! Now is not the time to talk about this. Let's talk about it when he is about to be unable to hold on!" Medusa's pretty face was also somewhat flushed, and she stopped her.

Medusa and Zi Yan looked toward Xiao Yan's direction again and discovered that his body was expanding and contracting continuously, beating like a heart, and every time the beating finished, the momentum around his body would increase a little.

However, just when Medusa and Zi Yan thought everything was proceeding normally, an accident occurred.

The previous Exotic Fire eruption had turned the entire ruins and even the surrounding Skeleton Mountain Range into a sea of fire. Regardless of the fact that the ancient ruins had quite a few precious medicinal materials, they had formed a forest. After these medicinal materials were refined by the Exotic Fire, they transformed into pure energy and began to be transported toward Xiao Yan's direction.

Not only the medicinal materials, but the fierce beast skeletons piled up in the Skeleton Mountain Range and the two huge corpses in the Beast Spirit Shield were also refined bit by bit by the Exotic Fire. All this energy was transported toward Xiao Yan's direction.

With the addition of this energy, Xiao Yan's body soon couldn't hold on and expanded directly, becoming larger and larger like a balloon, on the verge of exploding.

"Zi Yan, hurry and help Xiao Yan absorb the energy of the Dragon-Phoenix Origin Fruit in his body." Seeing that Xiao Yan was about to explode, Medusa shouted hurriedly. Hearing this, Zi Yan struggled a little, but she also knew the gravity of the situation. Thinking of the scene where Xiao Yan helped her obtain the Dragon-Phoenix Origin Fruit before, her heart hardened, and her red lips pressed onto Xiao Yan's mouth, beginning to absorb the energy in his body.

Because the energy of the Dragon-Phoenix Origin Fruit was absorbed by Zi Yan, Xiao Yan's body finally stopped expanding and gradually began to shrink.

However, Xiao Yan's body shrank, but Zi Yan's body began to expand continuously. Absorbing such pure, violent energy was also very strenuous for Zi Yan.

Seeing that there was too much energy and if she continued to absorb it, she might explode first, Zi Yan used a secret technique directly, turning herself into adult size.

Looking at Zi Yan, who had suddenly turned into adult size with a curvy body and long hair hanging down to her perky buttocks, Medusa said in surprise, "I didn't expect Zi Yan to be so beautiful after growing up! It's just a bargain for Xiao Yan!"

Just when Medusa thought everything was safe, Zi Yan suddenly turned her head and said to Medusa, "I can't do it anymore. I can only absorb this much. If I continue to absorb it, I might turn into an energy body directly, and then it will be even more troublesome."

Without Zi Yan absorbing the energy, Xiao Yan's body began to expand at an extremely fast speed again, on the verge of exploding. She asked hurriedly, "Then what should we do now?"

"Besides the Dragon-Phoenix Origin Fruit, there is other energy in Brother Xiao Yan's body. This energy is abnormally pure. You can also help Brother Xiao Yan absorb it. In this way, you can also rapidly increase your strength," Zi Yan said while digesting the energy of the Dragon-Phoenix Origin Fruit.

Hearing this, Medusa's pretty face turned crimson instantly. Because Zi Yan was just a child, doing this kind of thing was nothing, but she...

"Sister Medusa, hurry and help Brother Xiao Yan absorb the excess energy in his body!" Seeing that Medusa didn't make any move, Zi Yan urged hurriedly.

"Forget it! It's a bargain for you!" Medusa sighed. She naturally wouldn't watch Xiao Yan die with her own eyes. She walked to Xiao Yan's side and began to help him absorb energy.

However, Medusa was not Xiao Yan. Making such an ambiguous move was still very shy. She looked at Xiao Yan's eyes from time to time, afraid that he would wake up and see this ambiguous scene.

As a Nine-Colored Heaven Swallowing Python, Medusa's status in the magical beast world was not much lower than that of a Void Ancient Dragon, so absorbing energy was not much worse than Zi Yan's. What's more, although this energy was abundant, in terms of purity, it was still far inferior to the Dragon-Phoenix Origin Fruit.

With these two ancient magical beasts, Medusa and Zi Yan, helping Xiao Yan share the energy, everything was proceeding steadily.

As time passed slowly, the strength of Xiao Yan, Zi Yan, and Medusa was all increasing rapidly. Because there was Exotic Fire tempering, even if their strength advanced by leaps and bounds, there would be no situation of unstable realms.

However, just when Medusa and Zi Yan thought everything was proceeding steadily, an accident occurred. The two ancient magical beast corpses located in the center of the flames, closest to Xiao Yan, finally couldn't hold on under the continuous calcination of the Exotic Fire and were refined into pure energy, which was transmitted into Xiao Yan's body by the Exotic Fire.
