Chapter 284: The Dream-Eating Witch, the Beast God Descends

"What… where is this place!"

A dim place.

Bai Tianqi slowly woke up.

The lights around him were dim.

Turning everything around into a dull yellow hue.

He felt his entire body weak.

Bai Tianqi slowly lifted his gaze.

When he saw the surroundings,

His fatigue vanished instantly; he widened his eyes, staring around.

He saw!

Countless people were trapped around by crystal-like objects.

Like individual crystal cocoons.

What horrified Bai Tianqi was!

Those people were all adults.

Among them were even the Beast Tamer Bureau agents who had vanished earlier.

"All these people are the ones who disappeared!"

Bai Tianqi stared in horror.

He saw that he himself was sealed inside a massive crystal.

Beside him was his magical beast.

All his magical beasts were tightly trapped.

Unable to make any movement at all.

Similarly, the other Beast Tamers faced the same situation.

And most were unconscious.

Clearly!

As a Diamond-rank Beast Tamer,

Bai Tianqi's Beast Power and spiritual energy were stronger than others'.

So he woke up first.

"Hehehehe!"

At that moment!

A chilling laugh echoed.

Instantly, Bai Tianqi grew furious.

He recognized that voice—it was the voice of the dreadful Witch.

He followed the sound.

A large group of children appeared over there!

"Those are the missing children!"

Bai Tianqi was horrified.

He saw a large group of children sitting on a carousel.

Their eyes were vacant; in their hands they held lollipops, occasionally moving like puppets.

They lifted the lollipops and licked them.

Dozens of "four-five-seven" children.

Their number seemed to match perfectly.

"These children are still alright—thank goodness!"

Seeing the children still here, Bai Tianqi seemed to relax.

Yet the next moment!

The Witch walked toward the group of children.

It tightened Bai Tianqi's heart.

He saw the Witch approach a child riding the carousel.

Then!

She lifted the mask from her face.

She leaned close to the child!

"Witch, what are you doing to that child!"

Seeing this eerie scene,

Bai Tianqi shouted.

But!

Trapped inside the crystal,

His voice could not reach out.

Then!

Bai Tianqi witnessed a horrifying sight.

He saw the Witch inhale through her mouth.

Suddenly!
