Chapter 727: Princess of the Ghost Race

"Crimson Blood Ghost King!"

"I never thought I'd run this far!" At this very moment—

A red-eyed girl was moving forward at great speed without pause.

After she obtained the information from a beast-tamer at the Beast-Tamer Bureau.

She kept advancing toward the direction of her target.

Searching for news of the Crimson Blood Ghost King.

She had already crossed several cities.

Jinghong Xiaoyou!

Her identity was that of a princess within Fengdu Ghost Domain.

Fengdu Ghost Domain!

It had always been a legend among humans.

Legend had it that evil ghosts gathered there in swarms.

A place where terrifying evil spirits were everywhere.

It was said that those terrifying vengeful spirit types in the human world—

Most of the phantom beasts from those legends and stories originated from Fengdu Ghost Domain.

For example, the Sadako that had appeared in Jiangyuan City before.

Or the terrifying witch that had appeared earlier.

As well as those that appeared in other places, like the terrifying doll.

The wax-figure clown who liked to turn people into wax statues.

These were all said to possibly be powerful phantom beasts that had come out from within Fengdu Ghost Domain.

Fengdu!

A place brimming with legend.

Common folk liked to link it with hell.

But hell does not exist.

543 So most people considered Fengdu Ghost Domain to be nonsense as well.

However!

Legends never come from thin air.

Fengdu Ghost Domain does exist.

Only a small number of people know this.

The upper echelons of every nation.

And some ancient great clans.

It is a place that truly exists.

And those evil ghosts, vengeful spirit type phantom beasts—

Are basically terrifying creatures that have secretly fled out from within Fengdu Ghost Domain.

Fengdu Ghost Domain is formless and shadowless.

It is said that a group of ghost-race humans also dwell within.

They rule over the regions there.

Managing those evil ghosts and vengeful spirits, preventing them from coming out to plague the human world.

Those types of phantom beasts!

Where they are powerful is their ability to spread.

Their combat strength cannot really be said to be very strong.

But their ability to spread is like a virus.

Extremely fast.

Just like Sadako before.

This caused many people to covet the phantom beasts of Fengdu Ghost Domain.

Crimson Blood Ghost King!

Is a powerful phantom beast within Fengdu Ghost Domain.

Likewise of the evil ghost type.

Evil ghost type phantom beasts!

The characteristic that most sets them apart from ordinary phantom beasts is—

They devour the souls of living beings to elevate their own strength and rank.

Of course, some grow by feeding on the fear of living beings.

They can see things that ordinary humans cannot see.

What a pity!

Jinghong Xiaoyou was interested in the human world.

She had originally meant to sneak out to the human world for a look.

But she accidentally let the Crimson Blood Ghost King out.

And also released some other evil ghost and vengeful spirit creatures.

To avoid being blamed by her father.

Jinghong Xiaoyou immediately gathered some of her own subordinates.

He headed to the human world.

To capture those evil-ghost-type phantom beasts.

Hoping to resolve them completely before too many human casualties occurred.

To wipe them out once and for all.

And at first, things went very smoothly.

Basically, every evil ghost that had escaped was killed.

Except for that one Scarlet Blood Ghost King.

That was a very special one.

Many evil ghosts could also, for the Scarlet Blood Ghost King,

Possess tremendous power.

And command the host of ghosts.

But!

Only this one was special.

Its intelligence was extremely high.

Several times higher than an ordinary Scarlet Blood Ghost King.

Moreover!

It deceived Jinghong Xiaoyou and escaped from the Fengdu Ghost Realm.

This made Jinghong Xiaoyou feel both fury,

And a hint of dread.

A Scarlet Blood Ghost King with such power and cunning—
